'WRONG NUMBER'

chapter thirty-nine

five days later

we were almost in los angeles at the boys last show. we were all upset about tour ending, but i was excited to see my family and gemma again. yes, i actually missed paige. i had so much fun touring with the boys. it was nevering boring, which was why i was upset about it ending.

we were about an hour away from la and me and daniel were chilling on the couches on the bus. i had been to la a couple of times for me and gem's youtube channel. for meetings and stuff. just thinking about gemma makes me miss her more.

"what's wrong?" daniel asks me.

"oh nothing." i say, brushing my feelings away.

"you sure? i can tell somethings up." he says.

"i guess i just miss my family, and gemma." i tell him.

"well you'll see them soon." he says.

"yeah. in a couple of days." i say, feeling a little better.

daniel's pov

couple of day? nope. more like hours. i thought, smiling to myself. i had heard lexi talking to gemma and her family a week ago about how she missed them so much and wanted to see them. i decided to fly them out for the last show to surprise her.

i was trying so hard to act cool and not flip out because i couldn't wait. i can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees them.

gemma's pov

daniel was flying me and lexi's family out to go to the boys last show of the tour. we had all known lexi really missed us and we missed her too, so we couldn't wait to see her.

we were on the plane now and i was getting more excited by the hour. our flight was at 12:00pm and it was about a six hour flight which meant we would get there around 3:00pm because of timezones and all.

lexi's pov

after finally getting to the venue i brought the few things i needed to daniel's dressing room. we hung there for a while until it was time for sound check.

i decided to go out and watch them do sound check. i had only stayed for one sound check previous to this. i really just wanted to spend more time with daniel, even in would just be being near him.

i didn't want to leave him, but i couldn't wait to see my family again. i like watching them do sound check because they were all acting crazy. it was super funny to watch them.

once the boys had finished sound check we went back to daniels dressing room and he started getting ready for the show which was starting in about an hour at this point. but the boys didn't go on for at least two hours because eben still had to perform.

daniel's pov

this was going to be a lot harder than i thought. i had to get them all inside without lexi seeing them. they had already landed and had gotten all of their stuff in their hotel rooms.

they were now waiting outside the venue. my plan was that in the middle of my performance someone would let them all in and then they would surprise lexi.

we were about to go stage for our performance so i gave lexi a kiss.

lexi's pov

"i love you." daniel said as he gave me a kiss.

"i love you too. have an amazing show." i said to him.

he then ran over because they were about to perform. eben came back after a little to watch the boys perform and we stood together watching and talking every once in a while.

when the boys ran off to do their second outfit change daniel blew me a kiss making me laugh. when he ran back on he shot me a smile which i returned. i always facetimed paige during almost every concert but she had said she was busy tonight, which surprised me because this was the last show of the tour and i thought she would want to see it.

the concert was almost over, they were doing their last so. i had been standing there jamming out with eben to taking you when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"hi, are you lexi?" a lady asks me.

"yes." i say, turning to her.

"ok great, there is something for you back in daniel's dressing room." she says to me and i give her a confused look. "follow me." she continues.

"ok." i say still confused.

i starting walking back to daniel's dressing room. when i reached the door i was a little hesitant to go in because i was very confused. i opened the door my eyes widened. my hand went to cover my mouth.
