Meliodas came back after a little while and they waited for their orders to be served.

"So, while we wait. Why don't we start with questions?" Elizabeth suggested, Meliodas looked at her and nodded. "Sure, ladies first."

"What are your hobbies?" Starting off with boring questions to warm up the conversation.

"I like to play video games, watching movies or TV series and a few types sports." Meliodas answered, "what about you?"

"Oh cool, we have something in common! I like watching movies and TV series too. I like reading books and play video games here and there, I like to sing as well."

"Oh? What video game?" Meliodas asked, "I play a bit of League." She answered, he nodded at her response.

"How old are you?" Meliodas asked, "I'm 17, you?", "I'm 18."

"So you're a year older, i'm guessing you're in the 12th grade?" Elizabeth told him, he nodded. "You're in 11th?" She nodded.

"What school do you go to?' Elizabeth asked, "Lumière High" She looked at him surprised, "What really? same. Why have I never seen you?"

"Well, we are a floor above you so you probably don't see us a lot. We have different schedules." Meliodas replied, "Oh, that's true."

Natalie then walked over to their table, "Iced Latte and Iced Mocha." She laid down the drinks on the table, Elizabeth saw Meliodas and Natalie have eye contact before she smiled and left. "Thank you."

"Oh hey, I love Iced mocha, it's like my favorite drink when I come here.", "Yeah, I figured."

Elizabeth didn't think much of what he said and continued their conversation. "What genre do you like to watch?" Meliodas asked, sipping on his Latte.

"I preferably love romance, i'm a sucker for that stuff. But like with a mix of sci-fi or like comedy, I suck at watching horror. I just get nightmares." Elizabeth laughed at the last part. "You?"

"I like sci-fi a lot, romance not much but I enjoy watching it. And same, not very good with horror but I don't get nightmares, I just hate the loud unnecessary screeches. Comedy is where it's at."

"Have you seen the new romance movie that came out this week?" Elizabeth asked, making Meliodas rise his brow. "Which one?"

"6 feet away."

"Oh, I haven't. Wanna watch it today after coffee?" Meliodas asked, "Sure. I buy the food this time."

After drinking coffee, they went out and headed to the movies. As soon as they got there, they bought their own tickets and Elizabeth bought their food. It was a miracle that they didn't have to wait, they were there at the right time.

As the movie was going on, Meliodas could see that Elizabeth was trying so hard not to cry. He wasn't gonna lie, the movie made him quite emotional but not to the point of tears streaming down his face unlike the girl next to him trying to push back the tears.

Meliodas took this opportunity to put his arms over her shoulders any way he could without completely disturbing her.

Elizabeth found his arm around her shoulders comforting as she still tried to push back the tears, until a scene in the movie really tugged on her heart and tears started to stream down her face.

After the movie, Meliodas waited outside while Elizabeth was in the bathroom. She was alone in the bathroom as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"That was embarrassing, you cried on the first date. Good job, girl." She told herself.

Luckily, her make up didn't wear of from the tears nor was her make up smudged in anyway, she still looked fine. She took a deep breath and went out the bathroom and saw Meliodas patiently waiting for her outside.

"You okay?" Meliodas asked, she nodded. "Yeah, just, wow that movie just crushed my heart." she laughed, making him chuckle.

"Hungry?" he asked, Elizabeth pat her tummy. "I'm still sort of full from the popcorn, but I can go for a snack."

"Same, I know a sandwich place nearby. We can go there." Meliodas told her, she nodded and they headed to a dinner nearby.

The sign 'le dîner' was big enough to be seen from a far. "Oh, I always wanted to try here but I never got the chance yet." Elizabeth stated, making Meliodas look at her with a grin. "today's your lucky day then."

They entered the diner and man greeted Meliodas, "Meliodas! How are ya kid?"

"Doing great, Hendrickson. Got a table for two?" Hendrickson saw Elizabeth behind him and she waved with a smile.

"A date today huh? Well, we have a table right here." He then walked them over to a table near the window.

"You can call Ban when you're ready to order." He told Meliodas and  left. "What do you want to have?" Meliodas gave her the menu.

She scanned the menu, "A chimken--chicken sandwich." Elizabeth stuttered.

Meliodas looked at her, chuckling. "Chimken?"

Elizabeth blushed, "Sorry, I say chicken like that." Meliodas found her way of saying poultry adorable and nodded.

"He waved over and a tall boy walked over to them, "Hey, Ban." Meliodas greeted, "Likewise~ What's your order?"

"Two chimken sandwiches, please." Meliodas grinned, making Elizabeth roll her eyes. "Will that be all?" The two nodded and Ban left, giving Meliodas a look.

"Who was he?" Elizabeth asked, noticing that they knew each other. "Oh, that's my best friend, Ban. He works here part time on week days and full-time on Saturdays."

"Oh," Was all Elizabeth could say. "Anyway, I was wondering what class you were in since we're in the same school." Meliodas told her, she gave him a jokingly suspicious look.

"I'm not a stalker," Meliodas made assured her and she laughed. "I'm in 11-l' éclair."

Meliodas' eyes widened. "Wow, weird.", "Hm? Why?"

"I'm in 12-l' éclair."

"Your chimken sandwiches~" Ban came on and served their food and they proceeded to eat.

"What do you dislike in guys?" Meliodas asked, making Elizabeth think as she chewed on her sandwich.

"Well, I believe in trust so. I don't really like liars, and well, boys who have  bad habits like smoking or  drinking. Not sure, that's all I can think of at the moment."

"Hmm, I guess it's a good thing I don't smoke. I don't like that stuff, it stinks." Meliodas chuckled, "Oh, I hate smoke. I had asthma as a kid." Elizabeth shrugged.

"You drink alcohol?" She asked, Meliodas nodded. "But not as much, only on special occasions or not at all."

"What's with people who drink?" Meliodas asked, curious. "I just don't like talking to people or meeting people who're drunk. I don't know, they scare me I guess?" Elizabeth laughed, joking.

Meliodas laughed, "What about you? what do you dislike in a girl?"

He looked at her and smiled, "I'm a simple guy. I just need personal space and trust. Does that say enough?" He asked, she shook her head. "I don't get it."

"I don't get too much into detail on what I don't like, I just say what I need for it to work out." Meliodas briefly explained.

"Oh, I see." Elizabeth nodded and continued to eat her sandwich.

When they were done, they paid for their food and proceeded to leave. But before she could leave the diner, she looked at the time, it was already 4 pm.

"Hey, I need to go home. I have to cook dinner for my sisters tonight." Elizabeth told Meliodas as soon as she got out.

Meliodas nodded, "I'll take you home and officially close this date like a gentleman."

"It's a long walk from here." Elizabeth told him, he shrugged. "That's fine."

"Alright." Elizabeth said as she walked and Meliodas followed her.

"So, you have siblings?" Meliodas asked, "Yeah, I have two sisters. Veronica and Margaret."

"Do you have any siblings too?" She asked, he nodded. "Yeah, I have a little brother. His name's Zeldris."

"Wow, he has a unique name." Elizabeth commented, making Meliodas snort. "Yeah, okay."

Elizabeth glanced at him with a smile, "So is Meliodas."

Meliodas looked at her and smiled, "Well, let's just say your name suits you."

"How so?" She asked, "It's as pretty as you."

Elizabeth blushed and Meliodas scratched his head blushing as he realized what he just said. "Thanks."

A few moments of silence before Meliodas broke it. "Hey," He called, making her look at him.

"Did you enjoy your day today?"

Elizabeth gave him a smile, "I did." Meliodas sighed in relief, "Thank the Gods, I did too."

"We're here." Elizabeth stopped walking and Meliodas looked at their house. He noticed that they were in private property and their house was two stories and was white in color.

"Nice house." He commented, Elizabeth laughed. "Thank you?"

"I mean--," He suddenly said, then sighing in embarrassment.

"I'm going. See you, Meliodas." Elizabeth was about to open the gate, but Meliodas stopped her by holding her hand as her heart started to beat faster.

"I have to tell you something." He told her, she faced him completely. "What is it?"

"I'm.. not your date." Meliodas admitted. "But wait, I don't have ill intentions I promise. I just couldn't say anything once you sat in front of me this morning. And the while time we were together, no one else came in the cafe alone."

"And well, you were really pretty so I just went with it." Meliodas scratched the back of his head with his free hand. His other hand still holding her hand.

"I really liked you and your company today, I'm sorry I didn't say anything."

Elizabeth stayed silent for a while, Meliodas suddenly felt nervous. "Look, I--", "I have to go."

She turned around and Meliodas couldn't help but let go of her hand. But suddenly, Elizabeth stopped and took a breath, then faced back to him.

"I enjoyed myself as well, but I need to think about this. I literally went on a wrong date."

"Did it feel wrong?" Meliodas asked, making her look at her shoes. "No."

"Look, give me your number. I'll just text you if ever anything happens." Elizabeth told him, Meliodas just took this chance and gave him his number.

After that, she then opened the gate and Meliodas watched her enter her house.  As soon as she did, she was smiling widely as she took off her shoes and took out her phone.
