12 January

"Seungwoo, about the offer in the states.." Jisung heard Minho speak quietly to his manager before he was called over by Chan.

"Hey Ji, Hyunwoo called you to his office. Want me to come along?" Chan offered knowing Jisung wasn't currently on the best terms with his manager.

"Its okay hyung. You can continue working on the track." Jisung got up from the seat in the recording room and exited the room, slowly walking towards Hyunwoo's office nearby.

As he walked through the corridor, making his way towards Hyunwoo's office, his anxiety rose. He was afraid of what Hyunwoo would say.

As he approached the room he took a breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in." Hyunwoo's loud voice could be heard as Jisung opened the door. He slowly entered the room.

"Have you done what I asked?" Hyunwoo questioned, looking at a stack of papers while spinning a pen.

"Uh.. I'll do it soon.." Jisung said, shaking from anxiety.

He still had no idea what he was going to do and it was already Friday. He didn't want to ruin Minho's career just because of their relationship.

"You have till 7pm. The media will love tormenting Minho won't they?" Hyunwoo sarcastically asked, finally glancing at Jisung for a second, before sitting up right.

"Ah sir! You should have informed me that you were popping by!" Hyunwoo's demeanor suddenly changed as someone stopped by his office.

"Oh yes Hyunwoo, have you perhaps seen the investigation papers?" Chan neared the table, glancing between Hyunwoo and Jisung.

"Ahahah no sir. May I ask, what investigation papers?" Hyunwoo asked, fear striking in his eyes for a second.

"The one regarding the accident I was in, along with Lee Minho. Ah it must be with Seungwoo." Chan pondered, looking at the digital clock placed on Hyunwoo's desk for a brief moment.

"Oh would you look at the time! Jisung and I have a photo shoot if you can remember. We shouldn't be late." He put his hand on Jisung's shoulder and smiled at Hyunwoo before greeting him and leaving the office, taking Jisung along with him.

"Minho and I have been investigating. We think the car crash wasn't an accident-" Chan whispered to Jisung as they quickly left the office and walked down the corridor.

"Sir, you forgot this!" Hyunwoo called out to Chan, waving a paper that was held up into the air.

"Ah thank you Hyunwoo.. My mistake." Chan hurried back to the door of the office and quickly grabbed the paper. Bowing slightly to him and running off with Jisung.

"We think he planned it." Chan said as they neared the recording studio. The elder had a serious look on his face and Jisung could see in his eyes that he wasn't lying.

"But.. that doesn't make sense. Why would he want to do that..?" Jisung said confused. The idea of his manager of 5 years planning all of this was baffling. Jisung was skeptical at the idea, but he didn't fully believe that it could be incorrect.

"You saw how he was when rumours spread about you dating Minho. You saw his reaction whenever we spoke about our gay friends. You saw his reaction to Minho since the day Minho arrived at this company. He has never liked Minho, and he's homophobic Jisung." Chan listed in a hushed tone, worried someone would enter their studio.

While Chan spoke, he stared at the blank wall as memories flooded through his head, something clicked. The car crash, the constant pressure to end the relationship, the bitter tone whenever he spoke to Minho and other gay colleagues. Suddenly they all connected.

Jisung's mind raced as the dots began to form a larger picture. The seemingly unrelated events were connected.

A surge of adrenaline and anger coursed through his veins, he realised he had been blind to the truth.

"Chan... you're right.." His heart started beating faster as it because clear. "Where's Minho?" Jisung asked, needing to speak to him at that moment.

"I think he's in the practice room." Jisung rushed out of the studio before Chan could say anything else and nearly collided into Changbin on his way.

"Woah- where are you speeding off to?" Jisung ignored Changbin. His only focus was on finding Minho.

He finally got to the practice room and put his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath.

He entered the room and saw Minho dancing to something new he had choreographed.

Before he could say anything, the star shaped light above Minho flickered and shook. Jisung's eyes widened as he realised what was going to happen.

"MINHO!" Jisung screamed, instantly catching his boyfriends attention.

"Move!" Jisung ran to drag Minho from under the light, making sure he wouldn't get hurt.

Just as they had moved from the spot the star shaped light had fallen down. Minho's eyes had widened as Jisung hugged onto him.

"Oh my god are you okay?!" Jisung looked all over his face, neck and arms to make sure his lover wasn't injured.

"We need to have a talk. Now." Jisung dragged Minho out of the room, dragging him out of the company and into his car.

"Chan spoke to me about the investigation on the accident. It all makes sense, it all-" Jisung anxiously spoke as he started the engine and began to drive back to his apartment.

"Jisung. I'm breaking up with you." Minho said, eyes looking towards the road as Jisung suddenly screeched the car to a stop.

"You're-" Tears flooded Jisung's eyes as he couldn't believe what Minho said.

"Tell me you're joking. Tell me this is an evil prank."

"Jisung.. I-" Minho finally looked towards Jisung, tears ran down the boys face.

"No! We can't- I can't." Jisung shouted as he drove to a parking on the side of the road.

"It's best for us, it's best for you!" Minho said before taking a breath, trying to stay calm.

"You're giving up on us that quickly?"

"Would you like it if Hyunwoo tormented you on a daily basis? Would you like it if Hyunwoo kept urging you to break up with me? Would you like it if Hyunwoo tried to sabotage your career?" Minho paused before his voice broke. "Would you like it if Hyunwoo kept attacking me?"

Silence followed as Minho unlocked the car.

"I can't do this anymore. Let me be selfish for once. Let me do what I need to do in order to stay safe. It breaks my heart to say this, but we're done Jisung." Minho opened the car door, leaning over to kiss Jisung's forehead as a goodbye before exiting the car.

Jisung watched in grief as Minho walked back to the company.

His world was crashing down right infront of him, and he could barely do anything to stop it.

He rested his head on the steering wheel, feeling numb. Feeling empty.

"Jisung!" He heard someone calling his name from the outside. The passenger car door was opened and someone embraced him.

"Jisung what happened?" Felix asked, panic and concern rose in his voice.

"Can I go home?" Jisung weakly asked his sunshine twin, glancing to the JYPE building.

"Okay, hop into the passenger seat." Felix said, his presence comforting Jisung. He knew he had someone he could rely on.

___

As the two sunshine twins arrived at Jisung's apartment, it was early evening. The sun had set and it was nearly 7pm.

Felix helped Jisung to get into his warm bed and made him a cup of chamomile tea.

"What happened Hannie?" Felix softly asked as he caressed Jisung's back.

"Min.. Minho.. He-" Jisung weakly said as he broke out into more sobs.

"What did he do hannie? Must I butcher him up for you?" Felix softly joked, trying to lighten up the mood.

"He broke up with me."

Felix gasped and his eyes widened.

"What happened? You two were doing so well." Felix continued caressing Jisung's head, taking the now empty cup of tea and gently placing it on the side table.

"Hyunwoo. Minho, he.. I-" Jisung broke into more sobs while Felix held the crying boy in his arms, providing as much comfort as he could.

"Ah okay Hannie, lets take a nap yeah?" Felix softly said, fluffing up Jisung's pillow so he could sleep well.

__

"Ah you're finally back." Felix quietly said, standing up from the bed, and following Changbin out of the room.

"Wheres Chan?" Felix asked, stretching his arms out and sat besides his boyfriend on his bed.

"I told him to come home at 11pm, its now 12. He's probably still in the studio." Changbin wrapped his arms around Felix, pulling him closer. As his head rested on his pillow he gently played with Felixs hair, making the younger cuddle him.

"How's he doing?" Changbin asked, concerned. He knew Minho helped Jisung with his anxiety, and now they had broken up.

"Its been rough for him, but he's mostly sleeping. I'll leave in a couple of hours to check up on Minho." Felix laced Changbins hands with his and closed his eyes.

"Good night Lixie. Dream well." Changbin quietly said, kissing his boyfriend's forhead. He closed his eyes and listen to his boyfriend's light breathing.
