Jason's pov:

After our meeting with Draco Malfoy, we all quickly fell asleep. I woke up to someone kissing me. I realized it was Piper and soon kissed back. She pulled away after a moment and said," get out, sparky."

"Will do for you, Madame. Hey that rhymes!" I exclaimed after which she playfully shoved me out of the cabin. I walked out to find Percy standing there alongside Harry and Ron.

We stood there for a while in uncomfortable silence when Leo, Frank and Nico burst through the other cabin's door. The girls from their cabin finished before our cabin's girls did so Percy and I just changed inside their cabin.

Once we were done, we headed to our cabin and sat down. Piper rested her head on my shoulder.

Percy and Annabeth started asking questions about the school from Harry, Hermione and Ron. Percy thought that the school's name was warthog which gained a chorus of laughter from us.

Once everyone had calmed down, Thalia just had to invoke a laughing fit by saying," more like Pimply pigs! Is that a disease or something?"

By the time we got to Hogwarts, we were all red from laughing. Everyone was having a great time. We might have just found ourselves a couple of new friends.

Once the train stopped, I reached for my bag but Ron stopped me by saying that our luggage will appear at the foot of our beds in our dormitories when we get inside.

I nodded and grabbed Piper's hand as I walked outside with Percy and Annabeth in the lead. The rest of our gang appeared next to us as we walked over to the carriages with Harry and his group.

As soon as we got out of the train, we were greeted by an amazing looking castle. Two columns erupted from either sides of the mighty castle. The castle itself was painted golden with a hint of silver and black here and there. It looked amazing.

That's when Annabeth started talking but Percy and I had already discussed this with Piper so she turned Annabeth towards her and ordered her to shut up. Her voice was tainted with charm speak so much that Frank and Hazel ended up stopping speaking for a while as well.

As for the carriages, the old looking mahogany carriages were pulled along with black winged horses. The horses had steam billowing from their nostrils and thin and fragile looking bodies. They looked as though they had been brought back from the dead.

I turned over to Nico who was looking over at the horses quite mystified with Percy as his equivalent.

We were about to board a carriage when Hagrid called us over. He waved us over to him and said," Hello, there!"

There were a chorus of hi's and hello's after which Hagrid said," You'll be riding with the first years on boats."

After Hagrid said 'boats', Percy perked up while Thalia, Nico, Hazel and I perked down.

Oh, schist was the only thought that ran through my head. I decided to silently hover above and move along while the others used boats.

I got into one of the boats with Percy, Piper, Annabeth, Leo and Carter while Thalia went over to the other boat with Frank, Hazel, Nico and Sadie.

I gulped and closed my eyes in concentration. Soon all of the people who had freaked out about boats were silently hovering an inch above their seats. Only when we docked did I let them fall to their seats.

We all got out of our seats and followed a guy with inside where we were greeted by an old-looking woman named Minerva McGonagall.

We set off across the narrow alley and entered a grand hall. Four tables were stacks almost ten meters away from each other.

An oval platform sat raised in the air at the very end of the room. A long table sat in the middle of it with teachers sitting behind it.

At the very edge of the platform's front stood an announcement desk painted with a symbol showing a lion, an eagle, a *what's the symbol of Huffelpuff?* and a serpent.

We jogged along with a bunch of students who were nearly half the size we were. Professor McGonagall walked to the front of the room and went to stand behind the announcement desk.

She raised her wand to her throat and muttered something after which her voice came out magnified.

I looked at the women at the desk in amazement but I quickly recovered since this was not the weirdest thing that I'd have seen in my life.

After a quick announcement explaining the rules, a stubby man walked over to the corner of the room which was engulfed with shadows and brought back a three legged stool with a worn out, black, pointed hat sitting on top of it.

After it sat down, the hat began to sing! I took my time to get over it. That's when the professor started listing off some names.

Every time she took a name, a first year would get up and trudge over to the stool and sit down. The hat would yell Gryffindor, Slytherin, Huffelpuff or Ravenclaw.

Finally when all the first year students had cleared out, Professor McGonagall announced," Students, this year we will be having exchange students from 'Olympus school of Magic' grace us with their presence! Treat them well! They have had quite a horrible past!"

The murmurs from the students died down as I began to get fidgety. Finally, Annabeth's name was taken. She walked up to the stool with a look of calmness on her face.

She hadn't even sat down yet that the hat began to wail and screech. This was going to be a long night, I thought.

Percy's pov:

After a series of wails emitted by the hat, it shut up after billowing one last word," GRIFFINDOR!!!"

Annabeth shrugged and walked over to the Gryffindor table to be greeted by Harry, Hermione and Ron. Next went Jason then Piper and so on until it was my turn.

All of the other's had ended up in Gryffindor and I wanted to be one of them. I walked over to the hat. I was expecting shrieks and basically the reaction that the hat had gotten from Annabeth only a little worse.

I was within five feet on the hat that the reaction started. The hat looked at me with pity and started screaming its head off.

"NO!!! GRYFFINDOR!!! PUT HIM IN GRYFFINDOR!!! HOW DID YOU SURVIVE TARTU...!" the hat started but the word of that horrifying place came to a stop as Professor McGonagall slapped a hand on top of his mouth and shot me glance that showed apology and humility.

I ignored this and shrugged and smiled sheepishly at the Professor before walking over to the Gryffindor table while Harry kept staring at my arm. I realized that my SPQR tattoo might be showing so I dug my hand deep inside my pocket and walked over to the gang.

Harry looked at me once again but then continued with his food so I thought that he had shimmered down but then again, I thought the same for Luke. How did he turn out? Not well so I'm going to be a little cautious around this kid.

I shrank down to my seat. The only person who hadn't been sorted yet was Nico.

Professor McGonagall's voice echoed through the hall as Nico's name was called.

Nico walked up to the hat who was practically whimpering now. Suddenly, the hat and Nico engaged in a deep argument but I could see that Nico lost since an exasperated expression took control of his face.

Suddenly, a shriek echoed through the halls. The hat jumped of off Nico's head and started to work its way away from the mystified kid.

That's when I could see that Nico had had enough of this act. He stood up and started yelling at the hat.

"I did not come here to wait for half an hour just for a shrieking hat to act out! Tell me which house I am in and I'll gladly go there," yelled Nico.

"GRYFFINDOR!!!" the hat half whimpered half screamed.

A deadly silence had struck the hall. That was until a boy from Slytherin shouted," you can't just yell at the hat! You should get expelled! You're nothing more than a mud blood!"

Nico's face boiled with anger. He turned to the boy and started to say something but Annabeth interrupted him by saying," you know he's not worth it!"

Nico turned to Annabeth and glared at her angrily but Annabeth didn't even flinch. That's when Jason and I stepped in.

"You all should really not call us mud bloods!" I announced to the hall filled with students.

The same boy shouted once again," oh really? Why not? You lot are nothing but mud bloods and I can bet on that!"

Just then an owl appeared out of nowhere and pooped on top of the confused looking Slytherin.

The demigods all turned their attention to the boy until Annabeth spoke up," That's why!"

Then all hell spoke loose. Us demigods were on the floor laughing out heads off while the Huffelpuff table looked at us weirdly.

The Slytherin students and the Gryffindor students were yelling insults to each other.

During all that, the Ravenclaw kids managed to read their school books with interest.

Suddenly, the voice of professor McGonagall echoed through the hall," SILENCE!!!"
