It was Sunday and the girls returned back to the dorm after having a good brunch. Last night, the ball was enjoyable and pleasurable to some, amazing to some, terrific to few and horrible to Kathleen. She still couldn't get over with what Robert said and what EJ did! He just left her alone when she asked him to stay.

She just can't accept it and can't move over. Robert's words were haunting her and she could still imagine the way he looked at her while he said those three important words to her.

Kathleen was a lucky one, no one knew about the secret proposal that she got. Thanks to the new girl, her arrival has surprised every single person in the campus and they totally forgot the other things that was going on recently.

Few students witnessed Robert and Kathleen together but before they could spread all types of gossip, their socks were blown off by her arrival. Kathleen and her friends had no idea who she was or what she was in the past.

Kathleen, Laura and janice crashed to the dormitory very soon before the ball would end. They weren't feeling any good, so they left the ball and there was no chance to know anything about the new girl.

"Hey, by any chance did you hear what they were talking about this girl", whispered Laura, closing the door behind her. Kathleen sat on her bed and Janice went straight to her study table. She had an assignment due to finish.

"You mean the new girl?", kathleen questioned eagerly.

"Kath, she is not a newbie", stated Laura, shaking her head.

"What? What do you mean?!", Janice sounds surprised.

"She is Beverly Otis, she belongs to Howard's school of business!! And you know what the surprising part is?", Laura created some kind of curiosity among Kathleen and Janice.

"What?".

"She is pursuing her third year", she announced making the girls choke.

"Seriously?? We have never seen her on campus for the past 5 months or so!", stated Janice and continued to write something on the notebook.

"Yes, she skipped a semester in Howard's University but completed that  particular semester in Yale's", she declared.

"Holy shit!! Yale's??! People like us can never get into Yale, maybe she has to belong to some top dog's family and probably all her ancestors should have been rolling in money", laughed Janice.

"But people with brains can get into Yale as well, Jay", shrugged Laura.

"So what do you say, that this Beverly whatever, is a born erudite scholar or something?!", joked Janice.

'Will you please be quiet for a minute Jay!! I'm trying to convey something here", signed Laura.

"Go ahead. I'm all ears", Janice raise her hands in surrender.

"What I'm about to say may give you a panic attack kath?! So prepare yourself", Laura was threatening her.

"Me getting shocked? What is that anyway".

"She loved EJ ever since he stepped onto the Howard's University and they call her as EJ'S Ex!", declared Laura. Kathleen was shocked and she couldn't believe the fact that EJ had been in a relationship.

"What?? Ex?? Were they in love before she left Howard?? Are they still in love??", queried Janice. Kathleen awaits for Laura to reply.

"Relax, EJ doesn't love her at all and it was completely one sided!! But Beverly made it look like a mutual relationship, that's why they call her the EX", affirmed Laura.

"But I still couldn't get it, why were they all shocked to see her yesterday?", Janice rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, that's what I'm about to convey now. She is the most terrific bitch we will come across. It's either we bow down to her or bow out. If she says it's war, then no retreat or surrender, she will bring you down like you could never imagine", announced Laura and janice mouth drops to the floor.

"That sounds............", Janice couldn't find the right word to say.

"That sounds audacious", shrugged Kathleen.

"What? No!! That's horrible. She sucks", scoffed Janice.

"Yes, girls are petrified about her and her presence. They fear what she is about to do this time", gritted Laura.

"What?? Is she that dangerous??", questioned Kathleen because she didn't look like one who would harm others.

"Yes, if she hates someone she will go to any extent to finish them off. And the last time she was here, that is before she left to Yale's she has done a lot of collateral damage to the university and she has hurt most of the students both physically and mentally", explained Laura.

"Oh fuck!! I'll add her to the list of bad bitches which includes Rachel, Melissa and that fucking Doris", groaned Janice.

"That's where you are making a mistake, she equals 1000 Rachels", Laura exhaled audibly.

"And she was never friends with Rachel, Melissa or Doris", she added.

"Then?? Who else would be friends with her?", kathleen questioned.

"I heard from Brenda that she used to be friends with Marilyn, Claudia, Arlie and Thalia", said Laura.

"Ohh, Claudia from my department?!. I have seen her like few times, doesn't seem that bad", remarks Kathleen.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover", Laura smirked.

"You are right!! So Marilyn used to be friends with Beverly?! I just can't believe this, she is not as bad as Rachel and her friends", kathleen commented.

"Yes, back then, Marilyn and Robert, they were together, like a sort of relationship you can say it. And Beverly was after EJ. So Marilyn helped her at times and they decided to stick around together". Janice and Kath mouthed a oh. This was all weird to hear as they knew nothing for the past 5 months.

"And I never knew Arlie and Thalia. Who are they??", kathleen asked them.

"Both the bitches belong to my department, currently in their third year in Howard's University of arts and science. Such a slut they both are", exclaimed Janice.

"But I feel good that I didn't know them all these days", claimed Kathleen.

"Actually after Beverly left the place, they all tried to maintain a low key because they don't want to get suspended from the university like her", explained Laura.

"Every single day in the university is getting harder. I bet that we won't be able to graduate without going through all kinds of drama. Fucking dramatic", moaned Janice.

"But Laura, I don't get it!! Why she is back? And why did she leave the university on the first place?!", Kathleen was confused.

"The board of directors can't dismiss her for her actions and their consequences, so they just suspended her for 6 months. That's the least they could do", Laura narrates. Kathleen and Janice mouthed a 'oh' again. They have doing that for a long time.

"Yes, because like Jay said she is the daughter of a famous business tycoon and unfortunately he has a collaboration with the Howard's University and his company is funding our management for years. So they couldn't do anything to her", Laura shrugged.

"His father used his power and resources to get Beverly into Yale and it was Beverly who wanted to come back here and the girls say she is back for EJ", she said.

"This is intense", signed Kathleen.

"Yes, this is something I really hate, all this power, authority, dominance, bitch, rudeness and most of all I can't stand to the idea of hurting others physically and emotionally. I don't think it's acceptable", expressed Janice. And Kathleen gulped because she was like Beverly, a few years back.

"Guys. I think I have to say something here. I don't think I should be hiding this from you both anymore", stated Kathleen.

"I was like her a few years back and trust me I've changed. And I'm not the same person that I was yesterday. And the reason I didn't say all this to you because I don't want to be judged and I have completely gotten over that brutal behavior. I have lost a lot in my life in the past and I thought this was a new life, new beginning and wished I could change and I have already. Thanks to you both and I'm sorry for not saying about any of this for a long time", kathleen confessed.

"It's okay!! Don't apologize, we all make mistakes and not everyone has a beautiful past to look back. Life is all about learning through mistakes right!?. And I guessed you used to be a bully once", accepted Janice. Laura nodded accepting to what Janice said.

"But how?!", questioned Kathleen in surprise.

"You have given us enough hints already and come on Kath, we are best friends!! You don't have to tell us everything, we will understand your unsaid words too. And we will never judge you based on your past, trust me in this", Laura confessed with a smile.

"Aww guys you are the best", she smiled weakly.

"Leave your past behind, we have some serious problems in our hand right now", Laura rolled her eyes.

"What does that mean anyway??", Janice wasn't sure about what Laura was trying to say.

"To be honest, I'm scared of Beverly otis", confessed Laura. Kathleen and Janice looked at her in confusion.

"Why do you have to be scared of her?! We have got nothing to do with her, we do our stuffs and she will do hers. No crossing of paths, there is nothing to be scared of", gushed Janice.

"Jay, is right!!".

"And what are you going to do about Robert's confession! It's lucky that no one knew anything about it", Laura muttered. Kathleen drops her gaze to her lap embarrassingly, she wasn't still ready to face it.

"I don't know Laura. I... I don't feel anything towards him at all. But I can't hurt Robert at any cost, he has been such a sweetheart to me from my first day here. I don't love him and I never will", she confessed.

"So, just go and say to him in person that you aren't into relationships and you don't feel anything towards him", suggested Janice.

"That's so easy to say, Jay but I.... I can't. I'll ignore him from now on. I don't know on how Robert will react to any of this", kathleen expressed. She was right she doesn't know him well like she knew EJ.

"Ignoring a person isn't going to make this situation any better. Just talk about it and sort this out. That's the best for both of you", Janice urged her to have a chat with Robert.

"This is all just new to me Jay. No one has ever said to me that they loved me for who I am! And today I feel a bit elated for what Robert said but I just want him to be my friend that's all", gushed Kathleen.

"I think the only solution to your problem is....", Janice trailed off.

"What is that?"

"EJ". Kathleen's eyes widened in shock and a frown forms on her face.
