"Are you SERIOUS VERONICA?" Kevin Keller exclaimed at his best friend, Veronica Lodge. It was a Sunday night, and Kevin was sleeping over Veronica's like usual. They sat on her huge, comfortable bed and spoke.

"Cmon Kevin, it's THE LAST drive in event- Before Archie's dad tears down the whole lot! Sure, there's gonna be some snakes, but they come to the drive in too" Veronica explained to Kevin, who had a grump on.

"Cheer up" She poked him with her finger, Kevin pretended to be grumpier which made Veronica laugh- which made Kevin laugh- which made him fall backwards onto her bed.

"It's just that, Dad told me that they are like, super dangerous?" Kevin told Veronica honestly.

"That's correct" She interrupted. Kevin frowned at her.

"And like, what if we get hurt?- what if like- The truck blows up?" Kevin continued with the silly senareos until Veronica stopped him.

"Kev, the only thing that's gonna be blowing up tonight is your reputation! I could be tonight's Cupid!" Veronica nudged a blushing Kevin.

"As if V, all the hot guys are straight; you would know that miss 'pining-over-Cheryl-Blossom'!" Kevin exclaimed, then laughed at a blushing Veronica.

They sat up and continued to talk about anything a girl would want to talk to her male gay bestfriend about.

They say and spoke for what felt like hours; Until Hermione Lodge came in.

"Goodnight you two, don't stay up too late- it's a school night, and Kevin, just sleep anywhere?" She walked over to Veronica and planted a kiss on her forehead, as well as Kevin's. She's like the mom he never had.

"Will do Mrs Lodge" Kevin took his shirt off and then changed into his pyjama pants, then crawled on top of Veronica's bed and laid next to her- as she went under the covers slightly.

"If you think about it Kevin" Veronica looked at her best friend, his eyes a shimmering green.

"A pretty boy or girl has no reason to lie, they get believed at the flutter of an eyelash" She explained.

"It's how I grew up, I know how it is" She chuckled and laid back, thinking about how beautiful Cheryl Blossom is. Kevin looked up at her ceiling.

"I guess I agree, V" Kevin replied, still thinking about that:
A pretty boy or girl has no reason to lie
He felt his eyes feel weak as he fell asleep, thinking about what wonders lay the next evening, at the drive in.
