Even Robert Pattinson admitted that the whole book was stupid and called Smeyer mad. He even HATED his own character.

He is a stalker

He stalks Bella's friends through their minds
He mostly stalk her friends to find out where she is or something like that.
He stalked Bella without her knowledge, even when they weren't in a relationship. He even followed her to Jacksonville.

He watch Bella sleep every night without her knowing:
- If somebody did that to me i'll freak out and call the cops on him. I don't understand how Bella can be fine with something like this. If my boyfriend (if i had one) watched me sleep every night i would be really scared of him. Shouldn't he go to jail for something like this? It doesn't matter if you are in a relationship or not, breaking into

He's an abusive boyfriend: (i don't want to go too much into that one because we already know of his abusive behavior).

He sparkle like a fairy (and reminds me off the tooth fairy)
He isn't a real vampire enough said.

Never develops a personality of his own:
His personality consists of stalking woman... that probably why he is a mind reader (nothing special about that stalker power tho)

He made Bella push away her friends: What a bad abusive boyfriend he is.

Edwards (stalking) mind reader power: Eddiekins is a mind reader. But one thing that doesn't makes sense is how he can read werewolf and the hellspawn hybrids thoughts. He really should be unable to because he is not a werewolf and will never be one and he is not a hellspawn hybrid.
Alice can only see the future of humans (since she have been one) and vampires (since she is one). Then Edward should only be able to read humans and vampires thoughts... That is actually also a plot hole now when i think about it.

It was jealousy that started Bella's and Edwards relationship in the first place. It was because of jealousy that Edward made his first move on her anyway.
