"Sorry sir!!! haven't noticed you coming this way!!, really , extremely sorry!"
subhi apologies multiple times to Glenn as he mistakenly poured all the glasses of  pomegranate juice on Glenn's white t shirt.

"hey it's okay buddy, Relax...." Glenn smiled then asked "why are you being all formal? you're not this formal with sach, common mate loosen up a little bit!" Glenn left after patting subhi on his shoulder.

Subhi already started to sweat. There's no way he is ever going mingle with Glenn macGrath.  He heard stories from his perents and coaches what a nightmare he was !!  He won't try his luck !
He is sourav ganguly son . yes true . His looks screams sourav ganguly,  but his nature is not. He is scared of every , three things among five .
So he is very much ok to stay away from scary people. 

subhi watches Glenn as he went to join where, his perents , laxi chachu, Anil chahu and sachin mamu  was sitting.
Gleen show his wet t shirt to sachin and all of them started to laugh in unison.
His appa gave him sorry smile which said it's ok to mess up sometime where Anil chachu screamed a ' good job young man'

They are having a get together, after long 5 years . Everyone is here with family.
Anil uncle came along with chetna aunty  and Aruni di, mayas and savasti. sachin mamu is with Mr. Glenn and Sara.... his perents are present with his younger brother yash. only laxi uncle s partner hasn't come. She is some big surgeon so  is busy. But there kids came along they are around yash'S age. He and Aruni di are closer by age sara is younger by 5 years but the others were far too younger.

They are having this get together in Anil's farm house a little away from Bengaluru.

so by the virtue of being eldest, subhi ,aruni and sara are serving the refreshments . where the younger one's are roaming around the farm and enjoying.
subhi looked at his own shirt it is drenched too . he walk up to aruni  and asked " di ,can You get me a shirt from somewhere, mine was drenched in juice . and we had to prepare the juice again. "

Sara who was arranging the snacks finally looked at him and said ,
" I have a crop top wanna wear it? "

her thick Australian accent makes it sound even more piercing.

subhi's ears and neck started to turn red.
Before he could reply Aruni di said laughing "Common  sara don't teas the poor guy so much . He is shy!"

Sara just surged to it while smiling. 

The mood is  light. everyone is just happy .
Aruni said to subhi, " come with me I will lend you one of baba shirts, he kept a few here" then she told sara handing him another bag of juice can " please put them in  glasses, we will be back in a minute..."
" aye ,aye captain " sara said giving them a mock salute.

Aruni gave subhi a shirt to change then leave.

Subhi was looking at himself in the mirror as he put the sleeves on. he never wore this color before. this shy yellow colour actually suits him.
meanwhile sara entered into his room without knocking.

Upon seeing her subhi got emmbaressed.
he started to fidgateing his shirt to done the buttons asap while his whole face and body turned  pink.

Sara teased sensing subhi embarrassment ,
"I wonder where all your shyness disappear  while doing insta posts!" As she rolled her eyes.

subhi get more embarrassed but to hide it he asked nervously
" are you looking for something?"  as he done his buttons.

sara fixed him with a look then said,
" tell me one think, did Rahul uncle know s about those shirtless posts that you did?  "

"are you crazy ? he will throw me out of the house!"
Subhi panicked while turning into a red tomato.
"but sourav uncle has an insta didn't he! Does he not tell him?"

"we had a deal !"

"which is?"

Subhi give her a look to convey that she is digging too much but she didn't back out. And he is too much like Rahul to be out right rude to someone.  So he carried on the conversation,said,
"we help eachother out in the situation of crisis!"
"Like hide stuff from Rahul uncle?"

"Sometimes....yess!"
"Nice!"

Meanwhile  Glenn came into the room looking for sara.
"hey here you are! was looking for you"
then looked at subhi. Subhi is still looking nervous.
Glenn asked" is everything all right?" Looking to sara from subhi.

sara answered, "yeah dad ,what's gonna happen?"

"yeah? then let's go and prepare for the lunch! what do you guys say?"

subhi said ,"yeah .sure sir!"

"don't call me sir . uncle is just fine. " Glenn said smiling at subhi.
Subhi smiled back nervously.

then turn to sara and said ," come fast"
Glenn went.
"You are scared of dad?"
"No! Who said that?!"
"Well ,I can say that for myself..."
"No I'm not!"
"You're a bad liar subhman" sara said teasing.
"Don't call me by my name ,I'm five years older than you !"

"Okay ! What do you want me to call you 'sweetheart'?"

Subhi looked at her with a done look though a blush is creeping out on his neck.
Sara smiled looking at the flustered subhi
and said in teasing tone,"common princess, hurry up" as she left the room.

subhi glare at her drifting figure.

As subhi made his way downstair he saw the young bunch is sitting across the dining area with a cardboard box.  it has bunch of casetes, cds and dvds.

yash said in an excited voice seeing subhi coming,  "hey Dada ,come and see what we have found!!"

Subhi walk upto them.
Mayas,Anil's son, said ,"it's papa's collection. it has photos and videos of papa's younger days!"
he sounds equally excited.
subhi said,"then why you guys are playing with this ,it's something important right!"

"We are not playing , we are just going through it! " yash protested.

"Do you guys want to watch those?" It Anil who actually asked them this time as he came into the dinning.

The kids said in unison, "yessss!!!"

" okay after the lunch we will put it on ! For now join us to prepare lunch!"

After having lunch every one came and sit across the dinning area. Sourav ,Rahul sachin are sitting on chairs of the dining table . Yash ,mayas, savasti was sitting on the ground, Glenn was sited on the sofa with sara on his side. Chetna was sited on the other end of the sofa. Anil set the dvd then came and sat beside chetna . Aruni and subhi are the incharge of playing the cds.
The first cd is played.

First one has a picture of Anil holding a white ball up sachin was just behind him applauding in a stadium.

Sachin said in an excited voice," I remember that! It's Jumbo's first five wicket haul , against South africa in South africa!!"

Anil said," yess you are absolutely right ! I must say I'm really impressed with your memory, sach!"

"Offcorse you are! I'm the smartest !

"No. That's Jam!"

Everyone laughed at that.

Next picture : a verry small figure in a stadium raising his bat.
Sourav said ," that's sach!"
Anil said ," yes it's his first century.  I also get a century that day!"
The kids wondered at Anil's statement.
Sara said," you were cute baba!"

Glenn said, "why do you think I married  him for? even after knowing his wild mood swings? Offcorse,because he was cute!"

Glenn and sara both laughed and the other also joined them.

Sachin throw a cheekpea at gleen which he and Jam was eating. 
" you should be greatfull that I married you!"

"Offcorse I'm greatfull love.... that I'm still alive after marrying you"

Chetna said to subhi,"beta  keep going or else this two will start war ,please !" Jam supported said" yess subhi hurry up!"

The next photo is Sourav Rahul ,sachin  having a meal in small hotel all of them are looking quite tired.

Subhi asked," where is this from?" And turned to look at his perents .yash also turned his curious gaze at his parents. 
Rahul looked at sourav who is looking to proudly at that picture. Rahul turned to look other way. A faint blush is creeping on his cheeks.

Sachin also get very excited by the picture and said animatedly ,"oh let me tell you the story, It's was the day you perents got married! 1998,August  right ? "
Anil agreed.  Subhi get confused and asked, " hain? But didn't thay got married in 2003? "
Sachin said, " oh that was publicly, They were legally married way before that! Sourav took Jam away from his home! Then they got married in a law firm!"
Subhi and yash both looked at sachin with wide eyes.

Sourav said in snooty voice, " what do you think your nanu  hates me for? "

Rahul said ," he didn't hate you, he just not much fond of you!"
Subhi asked sourav
" I can't believe you actually convinced appa to elope?"
Sourav said, " I didn't! You're appa called me and beged me to come to marry him!"
Jam protested  ," stop liying ! Yeah it's true that I called you to come but I didn't beg . You were the one crying on phone!!! "

" still I came to your rescue! "

" Rescue my foot !  I planned everything  and I did everything on my own ! Because you can't seems to stop crying after knowing I'm ready to be with you !"

" yeah ! Jam is right ! I'm  the witness. " sachin said with a proud look on his face.

"You two are ganging up on me intentionally! Anil back me up dude !!" Sourav said ,frustrated.

"Yeah yeah! Stop you two!  sourav did alot ! You know,... like signing the papers, changing the rings...." sachin walk up to Anil and gave him a hifi.
all of them burst into hysterical laughter.

Sachin said, " dadi was so tensed that he forgot to take his cards and cash ! We had to lend money by renting his watch ! "

Sourav said, "you also forgot to bring money!!"

" I wasn't the one getting married and I thought you have money!"

"Whatever! But I rescued Jam ! That's a fact!" then turn to subhi and said ,"Your nanu is all set to settle your appa in london with his NRI son in law but I averted that! I went to bangalore from Mumbai!  I did that!"

" that's really cool baba!" Yash said being impressed.
" so you and baba really eloped?" Subhi asked rahul but sourav answered

"Offcorse! right under from your nanu's nose I took your appa away!"

Jam pinned Sourav with a glare.

Yash said , "Wow! appa disobeyed nanu for you? Can't believe it!"
Sourav gave a proud smile to him.

Yash said after a minute of thinking," then should I also elope with Druv to get married ?"

Subhi ,Jam and Sourav said in unison," you are just sixteen!Yash!"

Yash replied, " sorry,hehe!"

Sachin said to yash ," I think it's going to be difficult for you to get married anyway , with a brother like him who still had not has one girlfriend at the age of twenty three!" Sachin laughed looking at subhman while teasing.

"Yaar sachin mamu not you too! Baba taunt me all the time!"

Sourav said,"why do you call him mamu? Call him chachu he is my friend!"
Jam said, "oh shut up ! He is my friend too ! Subhi will call sachin , mamu only! So is yash !"

Sorav said ,"you can't steal my bestfriend! He was my friend before he was your!"

Jam replied, "huh! Already done and dusted "
Before sourav can reply to that,
Sachin said mickyly, " well dadi ,I really like being called mamu you know, atleast subhi is not calling me by my name anymore like he used to do when he was a kid"

Now everyone started to laugh. Subhi get emmbarresed.

Aruni asked," what was that baba ? Why did you take a picture of a camera?"

Anil said," well .... your mom gifted me that,on our first anniversary. The best gift I ever received!"
Subhi said ," wAh ,That's awesome!"
Sara asked randomly to her perents, " what was the best gifts you two gave eachother?"

Gleen nodded his head in disappointment and said, "don't ask love! Sach was horrible with gifts! I recived same gifts every year on my birthday,"
"Really?"
"Yep ,sourav is my witness you can ask him!"

Sachin said protesting, "hey! Don't drag my bestfriend into this!"
Sourav said,"I'm advocating ! Your dad is right sara beta! He was disappointing!"

Sachin said, "Wow ganguly ! this is what I get for stalking Jam on you behalf for all our lives! The betrayal!"

"Calm down love he was just being honest!"
"Yeah baba calm down! You gave dad the best gift anyway! Me !! So..."

Glenn said looking at sara borderline offended said, "you were not a gift ! You are pure hardwork!!!"
Sara said,"ohhh !! That's a good one dad!"
They hified.

Subhi started to weez. Sourav and Anil broke into laughter! Jam starts to giggle too but still observing sachin's reaction.
Sachin said being  emmbarresed by the meaning, "I'm totally done with you two!! there are kids here!"
Everyone broke into laughter.

The next picture:yuvi is emptying a bottle pf water on mahi's head.

Yash shouted,"that's MS Dhoni! And Yuvraj Singh !"

Rahul said in relaxed tone ,"No it's not," the look in his eyes are nostalgic. He continued,
" It's mahi and yuvi! Our little one's!" Rahul turned to sourav sourav also has a faint smile on his . The memories are making a come back.
Sachin said, " they were still not the ms and yuvraj you know today.  It's a picture from that time when they are new to the team not yuvi but mahi , naive , stupid,wild and very honest..."
Anil said, " They used to be so happy toghter ! I still can't believe their engagement broke off!"
Sachin said," sometimes somethings happens  we really can't tell why it happens! But what ever they share we witnessed it ! It was beautiful even though it doesn't end well!"

Everyone turns sad thinking about mahi and yuvi's falling relationship.

Glenn said after taking a look at everyone's mood,"I think we should get into some activities we have been sitting for long after eating!"
Sourav declared he is going to have a nap . Kids went to play , subhi ,sara, aruni also went to join them on the field.  Sachin ,Glenn, Anil ,Rahul ,Chetna went for walk.
