The Destiny's Bounty passes a mountain as the Postman, on a bicycle with improvised wings emerges above from the clouds, holding a parcel. I smirked as I watched him suffer, breathless from pedaling so fast.

"Wait! Slow down! I have a package for Sensei Wu!" he cried. Wu came out a few seconds later and I instantly left, not wanting to be anywhere near him. I walked into the dining room to see the guys all talking about something.

"First, I'll stomp on his tail. Then when he turns, a thunder clap to his ears. Then when he's stunned, I'll disarm him." Lloyd explained, smirking in his supposed victory. The Ninja all smirked at each other and I rolled my eyes.

"Too late, he's already hypnotized you and now you're under his control." Cole starts, looking to Zane.

"Or he's already put you in a squeeze."

"Or spit on you with his hallucinatory venom. Trust me, bad stuff." Kai finished as I chuckled, sitting down next to Lloyd, who groaned at his failure. Wu then walks in a sits on the other side of Lloyd, and I go and sit next to Cole, who seemed to have no problem with it and slung an arm around my shoulders.

"Uncle, what's the best way to stun a Serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?" Lloyd asked, looking to our horrid relative.

"Sadly, it was the Sacred Flute you four carelessly lost." Wu sighed, glaring sternly at his pupils.

"Hey, no, no, no, we didn't lose it. Pythor stole it." Jay defended, putting a hand to his chest in offence.

"Whatever the case, without it I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger." Wu stated.

"Don't worry. I've almost reached my Full Potential, and when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute." Cole boasted, squeezing my shoulders slightly. Kai looked at him in bewilderment.

"You're gonna be the Green Ninja? Hahaha, don't make me laugh." he teased, mock laughter protruding from his throat.

"I thought it was decided that I was destined to become the Green Ninja." Zane said, confused at his brother's claims.

"Oh! The only thing decided about you, Zane, is that you're weird." Jay said as the Ninja all started arguing.

"All of you shut up!" I screamed, fed up with the pointless argument.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's in the box?" Lloyd asked, pointing at the box Wu held.

"Your new uniforms." Wu answered, and the Ninja gasps in awe.

"Whoa! They've got, like, armor." Jay said, completely enamored.

"I love the gold highlights." Kai exclaimed, holding his new gi out for all to see.

"Battle claws!" Cole cheered, and I looked at the sharp weapon, wondrously. I'm taking those while he sleeps.

"The material is really light and breathable." Zane observed, smiling.

"Oh, nothing for us?" Lloyd asked, though I couldn't care less. I don't need anything from Wu. Our uncle was clearly not prepared as he stammered a bit, looking for something to give my hopeful brother.

"Um, you get, uh, the box?" he offered, holding the empty carboard cube out for Lloyd to take. The alarms suddenly erupted with noise.

"Sorry to break up the moment, boys, but a small faction of our slithering friends are stirring up trouble at Mega Monster Amusement Park." Lloyd perked up at Cole's words, and rushed over to me, grabbing my hand before looking at the others, hopefully.

"Amusement park? Can we go? Can we go with you, please? Let us make things up. we can help." Lloyd pleaded.

"I'm sorry, nephew. You will both stay here, where it's safe." Wu said, calmly.

"Oh, Ninja get all the fun." Lloyd whined, sadly. I nudged him with a wink and me grinned, brightly.

"What do you say, guys; time to try out the new merchandise?" Jay asked with a smirk.

"All right. This new stuff feels like it'll really protect us." Cole agreed, spinning into his new gi.

"Yet, provides more mobility." Zane added, doing the same.

"You wanna strut your stuff on the catwalk, or get down to that amusement park so we can go on some rides?" Jay brought out his nunchucks, still smirking.

"I love a good old fashioned roller coaster, but nothing beats this." Kai cheers as they jump off the Bounty and use their vehicles to land. I grabbed Lloyd's hand and dragged him over to the shadows before focusing on the shadows of the amusement park, and soon enough, we were there.

"Alright, Little Brother, let's go on some rides, biaattcchh!" I cheered, dragging him away, grinning brightly.

It was the next day, and Kai was dropping Lloyd and I off at the Kiddie Arcade.

"Okay, I know it's my turn to look after you, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling the Samurai may show up." he gives Lloyd some coins before ruffling my hair, making me hiss and fix it, quickly. I flip my hood up, not liking the sun on my pale skin.

"Let us help!" Lloyd pleaded.

"No." Kai refused, sternly.

"Come on. At least drop us off at a decent arcade." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Sorry, shorties." he laughed, driving off into the distance.

"Kai, wait!" Lloyd groaned and we were about to go in the arcade, but we heard voices from the alley next to us. We peeked our heads around the corner, and to our surprise, multiple different serpentine were talking excitedly.

"I hear he found it. And everyone is gathering again." a Hypnobrai said, excitedly.

"Impossible. The Lost City does not exist." a Fangpyre stated, shaking his head.

"Well, it issn't lossst anymore. Haha. And I heard there'sss going to be a fight." the Hypnobrai replied, smirking.

"A fight? Count me in." his Fangpyre friend hissed. Suddenly, a bus drove by Skales pulls up at the end of the alley.

"All aboard. Next stop, Ouroboros." Lloyd looks at the money Kai gave us and rushed into a costume store, only to return in a Serpentine disguise. He hands me one as well and I put it on before rushing with him to get on the bus.

"Hey, you, hold it there." Skales said to me as Lloyd walked to the back,

"Sup?" I asked, smoothly.

"Last one in closes the door." Sir Bitchy of the Bitchiloids finished.

"Sure thing" I close the door behind me and walk to the back, sitting next to Lloyd as the bus leaves. It drives all throughout the day and arrives at a sand city by nighttime. I hummed in suspicion and nudge Lloyd, who had fallen asleep on my shoulder, awake. He shook his head and we got off the bus entered the arena, taking our seats near the top, so we could jump over the wall in case anything happened. Pythor slithered up to a stage and grabbed a microphone, and I glared deeply at the purple serpent.

"I bring you together to the Lost City of Ouroboros, before the statue of our very own Great Devourer, to speak of unity." he called out among the arena. Murmurs and hisses echoed around in return.

"Where are the fights?" a random snake called out.

"Where is the big show?" a Venomari next to me asked.

"Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit!" everyone began to chant, so Lloyd and I did the same. Pythor was not happy.

"Argh! You want a show? You want to see a fight? I ask for your allegiance but you will not give it. So I will take it." he growled, confusing the crowd of serpents.

"What are you saying?" Fangtom asked, glaring slightly, one of his forked tongues poking out.

"I challenge the four tribe Generals for their staffs and their allegiance. At once!" the four generals accepted Pythor's challenge.

"I fought hard for this staff and will not give it up easily." the Venomari general hissed, lowly.

"There's no way he can defeat the four of us at once." Skalidor agreed. I noticed Skales secretly hands Pyhtor the Sacred Flute, and he immediately starts playing.

"Oh, he's using the Sacred Flute against his own." Lloyd gasped, softly.

"That snaky little bitch." I growled, ready to travel in the shadows once more and kick his tail in.

"My ears!" Skalidor cried.

"It hurts!" Accidicus screamed in agony. Skales throws him his staff and Pythor defeats the other Generals, effortlessly.

"Bow to your master. Bow to your master, Serpentine!" we do as told, but as Lloyd tries to, he accidently drops his maracas. He yelps and begins to run away, myself in tow, when Mezmo grabs us.

"Where do you think you're going?" he hissed. I growled and tried to kick his face, but he moved away last second.

"Lloyd? The Serpent-Blood?!" Lloyd gulps and I remain calm, waiting for the right moment to slip away, undetected.

~~~
The Ninja rush into the arena, only for a giant metal cage to drop on them, making the four elemental masters drop their Golden Weapons.
"The Ninja!" Lloyd gasps. I look at Cole, worried as he was holding his head in pain.
"Looks like we've caught the main event." Pythor laughs and the Ninja are brought into the arena.
"Main event? What do you think he meant by "main event"?" Jay asked, worriedly.
"I have a feeling we're the main event." Kai said, dreading the coming minutes.
"Or the main course." Cole whimpered, sacred.
"Kai, you may be right. Things really may come to an end today." Zane said, looking around, frantically.
"Uh, don't worry. The Samurai could still come around to save us." Jay said, trying to remain optimistic.
"You say you wanted a battle, and I give you one. I give you Ninja versus Samurai!" Pythor shouts, boldly, and Nya, in her Samurai suit, is brought out in chains.
"What? We have to fight the Samurai? But we don't even have our Golden Weapons and he has that hulking thing of armor. It's not fair." Jay screeched. I wanted to smack him, honestly.
"I want to see once and for all who is the greatest hero. Is it Samurai, or Ninja? Only the victor will be allowed to leave." Pythor says, grinning.
"Stay together." Kai warns his brothers.
"Perhaps he can join our team to fight our way out? After all, he hates the Serpentine too." Zane suggests, but the Samurai then attacks.
"Scratch that. He is not on our team." if only you knew, Cole.
"Haha, missed me!" Jay taunts, only to get hit.
"Tornado of Creation?" Zane offered, the others nodded.
"Earth!"
"Fire!"
"Ice!"
"Lightning!"
"Ninja, go!" they all spin into a giant tornado. I noticed Pythor alone.
Now's your chance, take it, idiot! my mind screamed at me. I focused on the shadows surrounding Pythor and suddenly, I was behind him. I took my bone dagger out and slashed him, causing him to scream at the sudden pain in his tail
"You little brat! Come here!" he roared, lunging at me. I stepped to the side, last minute, and he fell off the platform he was on. The Ninja had made a slingshot and fired, only for the Samurai to block it. Pythor presses a button on a remote, which activates spikes to come out of the ground.
"Argh! Why can't anyone play fair?" Jay cried, and Pythor hits another button, which tilts the arena.
"Can this get any worse?"
Way to jinx it, Cole
"Keep up the charade and hold on to my exo-suit." Nya says, and they try to fly away.
"There's too much weight!" Kai yells, and his disguised sister jumps out and the mech blasts off.
"Go, Ninja, go!" I rush towards his cage, only to be blocked by Pythor.
"Where do you think you're going? To get your precious brother? I don't think so, brat." he tried to strike me, but I caught his wrist and threw him off balance.
"Magnetizer activated." Nya said, and the Golden Weapons attach to her suit before she grabs me and leaves.
"No! No, Lloyd! Let go of me, Nya, goddammit!" I scream as we fly away.
"LLOYD!" I try to kick my way out, anything to get back to my brother, but Nya's hold on me was tight. Kai has landed in a different location than the others, and the jetpack that was keeping us in the air malfunctions and we crash.
"Testing. Testing? One, two." The Samurai takes their helmet off, revealing her identity. I try to run back to the city, but she stops me.
"Nya? Y/N?" Kai's familiar voice rang through my ears, and Nya puts the helmet back on.
"Steer clear, Ninja! Don't look..."she takes the helmet off, "...at me." she sighs.
"I don't understand. You're the Samurai?" Kai asked, helping us up from the ground. I only continued to struggle against Nya's hold on me, desperately trying to get my brother back.
"It was always a boy's club. You never let me try to help, so I found my own way to be a hero. Are you mad?" she asked, sadly. Kai took me from her arms and held me close to his chest.
"Mad? Of course not. It's just, all this time, I've been trying to protect you and you've never needed it. You're amazing." Kai said, proud of his sister. I felt tears start to spill from my eyes, and I let a sob wrack my body. The fire ninja rubbed my back as I continued to cry.
"Girl power. You're not gonna tell the others, are you?" she asked, worried about her identity.
Forget your stupid identity! My brother is in the hands of the enemy! my thoughts tried to project themselves, but all that came were more sobs as tears stained Kai's gi.
"But we had a bet. We said whoever caught the Samurai would be the Green—" he sighs, "of course I won't say anything. How'd you make all this stuff?" he asked, continuing to rub circles on my back as I cried.
"You'd be surprised how much spare time I have waiting for you guys to come back from your missions. You better head back before anyone gets suspicious. We'll have to rescue Lloyd another day." Nya says as she gives her brother the weapons. My head snapped towards her, a fierce glare in my fiery eyes.
"Nya, whenever I get in trouble, the other three always have my back. But you...just be careful, will you?" Kai pleaded, concerned for his sister.
"Promise."
"But how are you gonna get back?" Kai asked, and Nya smirked.
"I have my ways." she presses a button on her helmet, and her exo-suit comes and collects her.
"Alright, kid, let's go get the others." Kai said, handing me Zane and Cole's weapons. I walked silently beside him
"Great. Now we lost Kai, the Samurai suit is gone, and we have no way to get home." Jay screams to the clouds. I noticed Cole look at us and he smirked at his blue friend.
"I wouldn't say that." he says, and they all run over to us. We return their weapons and begin our way back to the city, but I still remain quite.
"Are you alright, kiddo?" Cole asks, his mech moving at top speed across the desert.
"I want my brother back." I growl, a single tear running down my cheek. Cole placed a brotherly kiss on the top of my head.
"We'll get him back. I promise."
