"Are you alright?" Mikey asked softly, the figure nodded but didn't look up. "Okay, we still have your plate of spaghetti, do you still want it?" Mikey asked, the figure remained still for a second before nodding again. "Okay, I'll be right back then." Mikey said as he stood up carefully and walked out, the other remaining brothers stared at each other in hopes of not making the figure uncomfortable. Mikey eventually did come back with the plate and placed it onto the ground, not knowing if the figure still wasn't alright with touching anyone. Once the figure grabbed the plate, Mikey asked another question. "Do you want to be alone? Me and my brothers will just be on the other side." The figure looked at her plate before nodding, causing the brother to leave the area one by one. They tried limiting the amount of Donnie's lab that could be seen while they exited and remained silent, not wanting answers for why the figure had cleaned out the room and why she had other abilities that didn't come up until now. Once Mikey was out of the curtain room, he turned to his siblings who all seemed to be deep in thought.

"That was too close, Splinter was literally a few feet from finding out she is stuck here." Raph said as he ran his hand against his head. "We need to find another place to put her." Donnie admitted, Mikey frowned and looked at Leo. Who was holding his chin and looked at the ground? It was silent for a moment until Leo finally had an answer. "I said she wasn't going anywhere until we get answers." Leo said and looked around the lab. "Maybe we can now." Leo said and turned to Mikey, seeing the disappointed frown on his face. "I won't go too far, but we can't help her if she's just taking up space in Donnie's lab." Leo said and began to look around. She had a fear of needles and a fear of labs, yet she was able to run out of her cell and make it seem like the brothers weren't hiding someone from Splinter. Leo looked at the curtain and watched as it opened, the figure's eyes closed tightly as she placed the plate outside of the room. A note on the cleaned plate. Leo walked over to the plate and picked the note up as the figure walked away from the curtain.

"What's that?" Mikey asked as Leo walked back to his brothers and flipped open the note. "It's from her, it says: I'll answer SOME of your questions. Only if I'm allowed to stay inside here while you do it." Leo read aloud and looked at his brothers, they all agreed to this and turned to the curtains. "We're coming in, alright?" Leo asked as he reached for the curtain. After a few seconds, the brothers headed into the room and made sure to give the figure her room as she was sitting against the wall, hugging her legs to her chest as the blanket was still wrapped around her body. Once they all sat up, she looked up to see who wanted to ask her a question first. "I'll go first, why did you leave the cell?" The figure sat up and looked at Mikey as she raised her hands. "Oh, yeah. She prefers sign language; I'll translate for you guys." Mikey said with a smile, the figure looked at Leo again and began to sign as Mikey stared at the figure.

"I couldn't hear what was going on. It was silent after the crashes; I was worried Mikey had gotten hurt as he didn't come back. So, I decided if I could sense him with my extra mutant abilities, I could find him. But when I heard you, all yelling at someone after the cell announced I had left it, I tried to make it seem like no one was in it to avoid you all getting into trouble."

"Aww, you were worried about me?" Mikey asked with a smile, the figure blushed a bit as she looked away. "You were the only one to give me food and try to talk to me. Of course, I'd get worried you had left." Mikey translated, Raph chuckled as the figure sighed in annoyance and rubbed her brow. "Okay, I'll stop teasing." Mikey said with a laugh as the Figure looked at Donnie. "I'll ask my question last." Donnie informed, so the figure looked over to Raph. "Okay, give me a sec...." Raph said as he held his chin and had an idea. "I don't know if Mikey has told you this, but we found your apartment trashed so much worse when we went to go find those weapons. Do you have any idea who's after you?" The figure nodded and raised her hands up again.

"Before you had found me, I was an assassin for a very dangerous mutant. I won't say her name because I don't know if you work for her. But if anyone betrays her, they are to be killed on sight. I ran away because she found a replacement for me that would do her bidding without batting an eye. Me on the other hand, I would spare them if they needed to pay back my old superior and just hadn't had the time to pay it up."

Mikey explained, Raph shivered at the idea and laughed. "Well, good news! We don't work for anyone! But you aren't going to hurt us, right?" Raph asked as he gave Mikey a hug. "No, I have no reason to. You're helping me, which is also another reason why I didn't want you guys to get in trouble if I was found." Mikey translated, smiling as Raph sighed in relief. The figure then turned to Mikey who hummed as he thought "Oh, I have one!" Mikey said with a grin as he turned to the figure. "Since you're alright communicating with us, why don't you talk to us? Like using verbal communication?" Mikey asked, the figure looked at the ground for a moment before looking back at Mikey, raising her hands again.

"While you and your brothers have been helping me heal and even fixed my cast, thank you for that, I still want to make sure you're not just using me for info. Though the questions you've been asking me lately have just been personal info most of my previous capturers have never asked me."

Even though this was Mikey's question, Mikey thought it would be best if he explained it to his brothers. "We just want to help you! That's the new Hamato motto I just made up." Mikey said with a grin and put his hands onto his hips. Donnie rolled his eyes and looked at the figure. "That's a motto he made up for himself. But we'll help anyway we can." Donnie said, the figure nodded but kept looking at him. "Oh, right. I get to ask you a question." Donnie as he sat back, the figure nodded and waited to answer his question. "Okay, you don't really have to answer this question, but it has been nagging me for a while." Donnie said, waiting for the figure to nod again. "Okay, not gonna bother to sugar coat it." Donnie said as he held his hands. "Why do you have a fear of labs and needles that causes you to lash out or even hyperventilate?" Donnie said, earning a few "Donnie!" and a smack from Raph as the figure froze yet again.

The figure looked to the ground as Mikey sighed and turned to the figure. "You don't have to answer that, sorry about it but-" The figure held up her hands with narrowed eyes as Donnie sighed, knowing he might've just ruined whatever trust the figure had been building for him and looked away to the ground. He knew it was a bad idea to ask the question, but it had been nagging him for such a long time.

"Because I was a personal assassin for my previous Superior...."

Donnie looked up in shock as he heard Mikey beginning to translate, the figure looking at Donnie.

"She wanted to make sure I could even out best her in battle. So, my superior sent me to labs to be torn apart and put back together, serums and other liquids were put into my blood to give me my abilities. I had no choice in these and typically was knocked out before these procedures had even begun."

It was silent yet again as Donnie sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm sorry for asking that." Donnie said, the figure sighed and looked at Donnie, suddenly seeing the glares and scowls that were aimed at him from his brothers. The figure bit her lip before coming up with a decision. "It's fine." She said, causing the turtles to look up at her in shock as she looked away from them. She grabbed her blanket and flopped onto the ground, facing away from them before they could ask her another question. "Tired." She whispered, but everyone got the idea and left the room. Once they were far enough from the enclosed area, Mikey squealed with delight. "She spoke! She really spoke!" Mikey said as he shook Raph's arm.

"Yup, though maybe we should all visit her again. That way she gains more trust with each of us." Donnie said, Leo hummed at the idea. "Yup, but maybe don't ask her something so personal next time?" Raph said with a smirk, Donnie rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, I'll admit, that was kinda a jerk move. But now we know why she's afraid of them!" Donnie said with a grin. "Now I know what to keep away from her line of view when she does decide to leave that small space." Donnie said as he pointed behind him, confusing Mikey a bit. "What do you mean 'leave'?" Mikey asked, Leo frowned a bit. "She's being hunted, Miguel. She can't spend her entire time in that small corner. She'll be wanting to leave at some time, it's best that we at least allow her to walk around the lair, maybe by then she'll trust us enough so we can introduce her to Splinter and April." Leo said, everyone but Mikey nodded with a grin.

"I guess you do have a point." Mikey said he looked at the ground, something his brothers noticed. "Who knows, she trusts you enough, maybe she can tell us who's hunting her." Raph said with a giant grin. "Maybe once we help her fight whoever is after her..." Leo said and turned to Donnie to finish his statement. "She'll come hang out with us more often, like April does." Donnie finished; Mikey looked to the ground. He did agree to the idea and eventually told the figure goodnight, the other turtles going to bed. At least that's what the figure thought, until a small lamp with a note was slid into the curtain room. She grabbed the note and smiled a little as she read it.

Donnie's lab gets pretty dark, here's a lamp in case you don't like the dark!

-Raph (The big red guy)

The figure smiled and turned the lamp on, setting it on a very dim setting before turning in for the night and falling asleep. Maybe, just maybe, they don't work for her.
