Cheston Francis "Chet" Sy is the only heir of billionaire Chester Sy. When his father fell off his horse while at their farm in Davao leaving him paralyzed from neck down, Chet was called from a race in Italy to go back home. He was told to replace him in their business. He refused violently even screaming at his mother that he did not want it. But being the only heir of Chester Sy, Harlene Sy told her son to man up and accept the obligation.

Chet graduated from the  University of Oxford in England with a degree of Management and one year of Masters in Business Administration. He also worked for his father since he was in Senior High learning the ropes of the business and it was the only place he enjoyed until he was introduced to racing.
