Seulgi's POV

"Seungwanah, just tell me." I nudge her and ask in a whisper.

"Are you sure you don't remember?" She whispered back.

"I wouldn't be asking." She sighed.

"Unnie stop pestering Wendy unnie to tell you, she shouldn't. It is for you to remember what happened, on your own." Yerim called out yet again.

They are all preparing to leave already. They were able to stay until after dinner. The whole time, they were like updating Hyun with their lives.

They still wouldn't tell me a thing about the pact they're talking about though. They said I would want to know what it was, and that it was stupid of me to not remember at all.

"You're not going home Unnie?" Sooyoung asks me. I look over to Joohyun.

"You've been staying here for a while now. Does your manager know? You're not actually hiding from them, right?" Seungwan curiously asks.

"I'm not. Unnie knows I'm here. She's been picking me up here, whenever I needed to go somewhere." I explained to her.

"And you're saying you're still not together, when you already live here." Yeri said in disbelief.

"Yerimah, stop it." I called out seriously. The teasing needs to stop. I just don't want to reach the point where this teasing go out of line and Hyun will feel uncomfortable with it.

"Unnie, it's not that big of a deal." Yeri said.

"It is to me." The teasing is fine but not when the other person involve is here.

"Why are you suddenly so serious? Even Joohyun unnie's fine with it." She said.

"That's enough." Wendy get in between us. "Let's just go now." She went up to Joohyun and hug her. "Thank you for letting us in again unnie." She said to her.

"I should be thanking you for understanding me." Joohyun said.

Sooyung and Yeri followed Wendy and hug Joohyun goodbye too.

After she closed the door she didn't even give me a glance and just walk passed me.

"Hyun..." I followed behind her.

"If you're going to ask me about the pact, just forget about it." She said.

"What? But they said I should remember."

"It doesn't really matter, Seulgi."

"I think it does." She then face me. "If it was a pact made by us, it matters." She smiles.

"We were young back then Seul. It was just a pact made by our younger selves not knowing what the future holds." She said. "What matters is what we have now."

"If it was the reason we've lost you before, don't you think I should know?" I seriously said. "Funny, because you told me your reason for leaving was they found out that you were gay. Now the girls are saying..." I pause realizing what I'm about to say next.

She sighed and avoided eye contact from me. Could it be?

"What did that pact say?" I ask.

"Seulgi, like I said---"

"I was drunk that I wasn't able to remember, but I think I have an idea about it now." I went closer to her.

"Seulgi---"

"One question, Hyun." I said. "Does it really not matter anymore?"

If what I'm thinking is correct, then I should be asking her thoughts about it first. I don't want things between us to be awkward.

"It's in the past now---"

"It doesn't." I said and sigh.

"Fine! It does!" She said. "But what can I do if you don't remember it. I can't force you to remember."

"Then just tell me." I said. She shake her head.

"No. I can't. It was from years ago. I can't plant your feelings from that time, to you now." She explained.

"If I tell you that I still feel the same, but stronger, then what?" I ask.

"W-what?"

"The pact was about my feelings for you, that's clear now." She knows about my feelings for her since then, and here I am always trying to hide it. Stupid! "I got drunk and confessed, didn't I?"

She remained silent and just stare right at me. They knew she was gay because of it. It only means...

"And you did too."

"H-huh?"

"Do you still feel the same?"

"You remember?" I smiled at her question. She just confirmed my thoughts.

"I was right?"

"What?"

"I was right!" I excitedly said. "You did had feelings for me too!" I was about to hug her but I stopped midway. Am I being too happy?

"There you are again." Huh? "You're holding yourself back. You always do that." She said.

"I'm sorry. I just... I didn't---"

"Know I have feelings for you too?" She said it so casually. "Was I not obvious? I wouldn't come home to you all the time, and cuddle with you everynight if this was just pure friendship Seulgi."

She's right. We have always been acting like we're more than just friends. Why didn't I realize this sooner?

"You still feel the same?"

"I love you Kang Seulgi. I loved you then and I love you now." I just froze at what she's saying. Am I dreaming? "How about you? Are you now ready to tell me what you feel, again? I've been waiting."

What the hell was I doing all these years? I should've been brave enough to confess in a sober state. I should've not been afraid of change between our relationship. She's been patient enough for me, when I know she doesn't like waiting.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"What are you so afraid of, Seulgi?" She questioned. "Are you afraid of what other people might think of you?"

"No."

"Then why are you still acting like this, even after knowing what I feel? I thought you were just afraid that I won't feel the same..."

"I was." I said. "I was afraid of change between us if I confess and you didn't feel the same way."

"Nothing has to change, because I feel the exact same."

"I know that now, I do."

"Then why--"

"I just feel sorry to have kept you waiting. I feel so stupid for forgetting something that should've been the most important thing for me. I'm not holding back again, Hyun, I swear! I'm just... maybe in disbelief of what I've been doing." I reach for her hands.

"I love you too and I wish I should've said it sooner. I wish I've got the confidence to have said it sooner than this." I pulled her in for an embrace. "I'm sorry for the times I keep denying it, I just thought it was the right thing to do." I felt her softly patted my back. 

"You don't have to apologize for that, silly!" She giggled. "You didn't know." I pull away and look at her. 

"Now, I do. I'm never denying it anymore, I promise." I said. "If anyone asks me what we are, I'll confidently say that you're the love of my life." Her brow raised.

"Really now?" She said in a challenging tone. "You're acting like it's the easiest thing to say, with our situation." Right! I almost forgot what we are. I sighed that just earned a laugh by her. "Like I said, Seul, nothing needs to change. Despite our situation, we're still together." She reach for my face.

"You're right." I smiled. "Nothing needs to change, except one thing though." I leaned in to her.

"What is it?" 

"We can do what real couples do, now." I look down to her lips, pointing out what I mean. I saw how her lips form in to a curve, that made me look up to her again. 

"No, you're not getting any." She pushed me a little. I pout at what she did.

"Why?"

"You were afraid of change, remember? Let's take it slow and not do it yet." My eyes widen at her explanation. 

"That's not the change that I mean, Hyun. It's not something we should take it slow." I whined that made her laugh. 

She quickly kissed me on my cheek, and fully pulled away from my embrace. She then turn her back on me and started walking her way to her room. 

"Hyuuun." I followed behind her

"Let's get ready to bed now, Seul. I'm tired." She said it in between her giggles. She's teasing me.

"Don't you want to kiss me?" I ask that made her stop in front of her bedroom door. She turn to face me, with her arms crossed. 

"Ask me to become your girlfriend first before you try to kiss me, you Bear!" I smiled hearing her call me that again. It's been years since the last time she called me that. I walk my way to her. 

"Then, will you be my girlfriend?" She look up and act like she's thinking. Ah! Seriously! She look at me again and smiled. 

"Aren't you impatient?" She scrunch her nose. God! It was cute.

"I just want you to let me kiss you already." 

"So you just want a kiss? You don't want to become my girlfriend?" Huh?!

"Hyun!" I whine again. 

"You were just annoyed with Yeri teasing you about us earlier, now you're impatiently asking for a kiss?" Oh. About that...

"Come here and make sure you remember it this time, or else you won't be getting anymore." What did she just say?

"Wait! We kissed bef--" I was cut off when she pulled my shirt. Next thing I know my lips was on hers already. 

I suddenly forgot what I was about to ask her. Nothing really matters now that I'm currently getting what I asked for. I snaked my hands around her waist, pulling her closer to me. 

"I love you." She said between the kiss, before deepening it. 

I've been waiting for this my whole life and I just feel ecstatic now that this is happening.
