MUGS POV
Come on Cuphead! Fight it ple- "Mugs Look out!" Y/N yelled, bringing me back to reality and giving me just enough time to dodge. "WATCH IT YOU FREAKEN MUG!!" Cuphead yelled behind me, taking the controls of the card, "if you wanna help then shoot the freaken bracelet!" Cuphead... Was this how he truely feels about me? Maybe, but that won't stop me! As Y/N said, there should be an antidote.

This lizard isn't even gaining damage! I looked back at Y/N, seeing them thinking deeply. I looked around for extra help and I guessed that annoyed Cuphead even more as he pushed me off the card. "H-Hey -!" "Shut it Mugman. If you're not going to help, then get out of my way." He flew off without looking back. Oh well, guess I can explore the bottom layer of this thing. "Pssst! Back here! Im'ma down here!" Wait, was that mario? Their voice was so much more... high pitched. "PSSST! Back'a here!" I looked down to see a... pancake mario in the shadows. I tried not to laugh at how adorable and unthreatening he looks now. He cringed, "don't. If'a you wanna defeat Jr Bowser you musta ground pound on his head! Not shoot him, unlessa you have a fire flower." I looked back to see everyone still struggling, "W-We don't want to kill him! We just -" "I'ya know. But he can't die, game law in our world. He'll just'a faint, enough so you can take off the bracelet." I sighed, knowing that weren't going anywhere, "What do I have to do..."

The little human in red guided me to the back where many character's hid; A goat in green, a green lizard, humans with lots of armor and weapons; as many of them - but they were all losing hope. "Guys! This'a is Mugman, the blue cuppa I was talking about." They all waved but it felt awkward when my eyes met theirs. Mario guided me past them to a room full of blocks with question marks on them. This was where he got him items from. Mugman parried the block... nothing happened. "Don't you'a double jump or jump?" "N-No, if me or Cups do we might gain damage or crack..." The little goat monster in green peaked from the corner, "need help friends?..." Looking closer he had a red scarf and looked cute. A thought came to me, "do you have pink paint or anything pink?" They were confused till the goat person gave me his scarf. I placed it around the block - once I did - it glowed. Ready. I parried on the block receiving an ice flower thing. The little monster's eyes glowed as if the light is still reflecting off of them, "t-that was amazing! Wow! W-What was that magic?!" I giggled, continuing to collect items that popped out; A raccoon leaf, another fire flower, ice flower, a cat bell, a water flower. "What do these do?" I asked Mario and he just shrugged, telling me to wait and see. Arg, that attitude. "What's your name?" I asked the little goat. He covered his mouth with his scarf - that I gave back - making his words hard to hear. The monster breathed before finally saying something, "I-I'm Ralsei... I-I'm new here and well... m-my game too. I was teleported to this place away from everyone I know... Could you help me?" I smirked, petting Ralsei on the head. He's so soft! "Sure pal. My friends will help all of you." "Then take this..." He gave me something, like a star or something. "Eat it when you're in need of help." I better get back to the others, I've wasted enough time here! I turned around with the little bag full of items, waving at the small man and goat, suddenly, realizing how far I've walked. I looked forward to see a cliff in front of me, right above the lizard. I sighed. Gosh, I have the worst luck... I jumped.
