"So you have never gone grocery shopping?"
"I have never had to, the palace always provided, there was no need for a prince to do such tasks," Loki held onto the cart for you to place in the fruit.
"Apologies, you majesty," you do a small curtsy, making your way to the baked goods section. "Apple pie or lemon tarts?" you hold up the two packages.
"Apple pie," he points to the pie quickly.
"Eager," you chuckle, placing the pie in the cart. Wandering about the aisles with Loki following in suit, gaze on the brands that lined each shelf. His hand picks up a box of Pop-tarts his brother had wanted to try for a while so he placed it in the cart.
"What else is needed?"
"That's about it," the list had been checked twice and it seemed it was true. Paying was breeze with Tony's platinum card, but you had another errand to run, so Happy happily took back the groceries since he was waiting for the two of you.
"Where are we off to, Enchantress?"
"To visit a friend,"

"This is quaint and lovely," the small shop was located between two large buildings. It looked as that of a small Victorian era shop. It's red bricks and oak wood lining complimented the hazy windows. Beyond those panes were herb jars after herb jars, oracle cards, brooms, cauldrons and crystals, Loki truly believed there was nothing this shop could not provide.
"Mama Delphine!" (You may recognize Mama Delphine from my Alastor x reader book 'Voodoo')
"Mon Chouchou!" A little old woman waddled from her spot behind the counter to engulf you in a hug. "What brings you here?"
"To visit you and Lydia of course," lending the woman your arm, she holds it tight as you lead her to her seat again.
"And who might he be?" the woman looks to the god with a confused face.
"Loki,"
"I thought Loki was ginger?"
"A common mistake, Lady Delphine," Loki takes her hand and softly kisses it.
"Do not try and coax me with that silver tongue, boy," she smirks before pulling on a rope behind her twice. "Lydia will enjoy your company,"
"Mama! What is it? I was just lighting a candle for Loki-" the little redhead girl slides down on the stair railings, yelping in surprise at the sight of the god. "Y-you're-"
"Honoured, thank you for the candle," Loki smiles fondly at the girl. "Lydia? Correct?"
"Y-yes, your majesty," Lydia does a low bow, which makes you smile.
"Lydia, rise, I am more so a companion rather than an almighty being, though I am a god, your dedication has proved much more that respect should be reciprocated," a deep blush settled in the girl's cheeks as she looked up to meet his eye.
"Of course," she mumbles, her reserved nature still kicking in.
"Come on, Lyds, relax, Lokes is cool,"
"You brought him and didn't warn me before hand? My room is a mess!" she hisses quietly at you.
"I'm sure it's fine, why don't you show Loki your altar?"
"W-what?"
"I will only do so if you wish," Loki assures.
"Right, ok, give me a few minutes," A broom shot into the young witches hand as she rushed up the stairs again.
A light laugh escapes Loki's lips as he heard clatter above. "Solicitous girl,"
"A girl very keen on impressing you," Mama Delphine adds on before conjuring a pot of tea and cups.
"Ok! I'm done!" Lydia calls which makes you nudge Loki up the stairs. As the god fades away, you take the cup of tea to your lips and sip.
"You like him," Well, there went your tea. The cup was gripped tighter as you wiped away dribbles of tea from your chin.
"Of course, he is a friend,"
"You know what I mean," she muses before refilling your cup and cleaning the mess. "Don't try and deny this, Y/n, I'm almost at my expiry date,"
"I hate when you refer to dying that way," You scoff.
"Lydia has coined that term and I quite like it,"
After an eye roll you smile to the old witch. "How long until Lydia can leave?"
"She is a smart girl, she will be a brilliant witch," Mama Delphine finished her tea, looking to the calendar. "Give it a few more years, her mother will be very proud when she returns,"
~~~
"Lydia, Lokes, it's dinner-" you open the bedroom door only for it to be stopped by something. "What in the gods?" slipping through the space that was open you see a fort. "Literal children,"
Kneeling down to the entrance you lift the blanket and see a long hallway of blankets and strewn about pillows.
"Of course, a space enhancing spell," you sigh before standing upright.
Blanket after blanket was pushed back, no end seemed to near. Calling out their name's it seemed you heard a giggle and that discernable Loki laugh.
"Guys! Mama Delphine will get angry if you don't come out now!" Seeing two paths diverge you take the left one, hopeful to hear more laughs. "Guys!"
"And then, for until Ragnarok, my loving wife Sigyn will catch every drop of the serpents poison, only leaving my side to dispose of the venom... and this causes the earth to rumble with every writhing movement of pain I make!"
You peak around the corner to see Loki shaking Lydia as if there was an earthquake. The redhead's childish laugh rings out as Loki moves to tickle her.
Sigyn? Was that tale more legend than myth? A foretold truth? Was he really to wed a goddess with that name?
Your mind shook the thoughts which panged at your heart when Loki looked up to catch your attention.
"Enchantress! Glad you haven't gotten lost,"
"Almost did a few times," You pull them both up. "Sorry to ruin the fun but dinner is ready,"
"Of course," Loki bows to let you girls walk out first.
"So, are you and Sigyn married?"
"Sigyn?" Loki chuckles and shakes his head. "No, I could never see her that way, she is actually married to a Vanir god, though she is a good friend and I have no doubt she would collect every drop of venom for me..."
"She isn't the one?" Lydia inquires as you walked a little further in front of them.
"No, not exactly... 'the one'," Loki finishes, letting his eyes dart to you then the floor which only Lydia seemed to catch.
"Well, have you tried dating?"
"Yes, I have, Y/n has actually taught me how to use Tinder though I despise it now,"
"Yeah, everyone on there is 'nasty bad' like Y/n keeps saying," Lydia smirks before grinning madly. "Have you taken Y/n on a date?"
"Lydia!" you spin to the girl. "I told you to stop messing with my love life!"
"Just asking!" She giggles, sticking her tongue out as you playfully tapped the back of her head. "But have you?"
"No, I have not," Loki mumbles with a blush.
"You totally should, you guys are perfect!"
"Lydia, I told you to stop," you scowl nudging her in the shoulder. "We are just friends,"
"With benefits?" She teases before dashing off when you lunge at her. "I'm sorry!"
"I warned you!" Then it struck you. "How do you know what that is?!"
