As the murmurs around the hall intensified, the host prepared for the next video.
Asahina: I wonder what we are going to see now.
Kei: Considering most of them have been pretty goofy and perverted, I wouldn't mind a little change of pace.
Sato: I know right~
Ike: Maybe a fantasy or post-apocalyptic setup?
Sudo: That would be pretty cool not gonna lie.
Hondo: We still haven't seen any actual R-18 yet...
Miyamoto: I don't think I want to watch something like that in front of so many people.
Okitani: True. It's kind of a turnoff.
Ishizaki: It will be cool if Ryuen-san and Ayanokoji teams up again!
Katsuragi: Despite their enmity, they surprisingly mesh well together.
Hiyori: I was hoping for a detective or mystery plot this time.
Nishino: I am fine with anything as long as it's not ridiculously awkward to watch.
Morofuji: M-me too.
Nishimura: I am getting some suspense vibes from this. Aren't you excited too, Kikyo-chan?
Kushida: Not really...
Mii-chan: It will be fun, I hope. As long as it isn't anything scary.
Inogashira: Y-yeah, I am not good with those either.
The other classes were also discussing about the upcoming video. Kiyotaka silently listened to them, while typing on his phone. He had already gave some 'advice' to several people who messaged him earlier. He wouldn't have bothered, but the points he received were the real deal.
???: Let's begin.
With those words, the clamor slowly died down, indicating everyone's focus on the dark screen.
Just like before, the video started with a quote this time as well.
[Bitches are temporary, Fear is eternal
An awkward silence ensured across the room.
Ibuki: Screw this!
Ryuen: That's a quote I can agree with.
Komiya: That's...a based one.
Kaneda: Definitely.
Akito: It almost feels like their stock of literary knowledge ran out.
Haruka: I'm not even gonna ponder why this was written.
Kei: What's wrong with that wording!?
Suzune: They didn't even bother to sugarcoat it.
Mii-chan: H-huh? Fear...? No way-!
As the sun lost it's radiance and the cold wind blew away dust, an unusual group was seen standing in the middle of a mundane town.
"This is the place huh?" Ryuen muttered, while inspecting the building.
"The maps says that this is the one," replied Ishizaki, next to Ryuuen.
The others silently stared at the place where they were supposed to 'work' for this week.
.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza
.
"It's supposed to be a fun place, but I am getting creepy vibes from it," Hashimoto expressed his honest thoughts.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Ishizaki nervously asked.
"I mean, this place might be haunted or something," he replied with a grin.
"G-ghosts?!"
"Now now, don't make us nervous Hashimoto-kun," Kushida said, giggling.
"I am sure we can handle it quickly, whatever it is," Ichinose reassured.
"For now, I suggest we stay in the hotel. There is still a lot of time left before our 'job' starts," Ichinose's classmate, Hamaguchi proposed.
"Sounds good to me," Hashimoto agreed. His classmate, Morishita Ai, silently nodded while looking around inquisitively.
The group of eight students started to go for their hotel where they would have to stay outside their working hours.
Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, who was silent the whole time, gave one last glance at the pizzeria, before following the group.
The introductory scene caused a bit confusion as well curiousness among the students.
Kanzaki: What an unusual group of students.
Hamaguchi: Is it some kind of special exam?
Honami: Seeing as how they chose two students from each class, that's most likely the case.
Arisu: Interesting. They allowed a small group to go out of the school for this? More importantly, isn't it a bit risky for Ayanokoji-kun?
Hashimoto: So, we are going to work together here. This will be fun.
Morishita: Yes.
Sotomura: So, the genre this time is horror.
Hearing his words, people who had weak hearts gulped in fear.
Onodera: What?
Kikuchi: Wait, you can tell?
Onizuka: Bro, you must be blind otherwise. That restaurant screams horror.
Shinohara: I-it could be a normal and happy family restaurant!
Sotomura: Ignorance is bliss.
Ichihashi: I-I hate horror movies.
Azuma: I don't particularly dislike them, but the jumpscares will be the end of me.
Kushida: Ugh...why me?
Hiyori: The restaurant certainly has a mysterious air to it.
Ishizaki: I am kinda looking forward to seeing this, though I don't like horror stuff.
Nishino: Heeh...so Ishizaki-kun's a scaredy-cat?
Ibuki: I mean, wasn't it obvious?
.
Flashback:
.
"A special exam?!"
"Again?"
"Don't they have anything better to do?"
Chabashira motioned to keep silence with her hands as the students calmed down.
"It's not exactly a special exam. It's a joint event where specific members from each class have to be selected for it."
The class understood when she said that, but the doubt wasn't fully cleared.
"What kind of event is it, sensei?" Hirata asked.
"A job. To be more specific, a job outside the school."
As she casually dropped a bomb like that, the class once again had erupted.
Later on, it was revealed that the school had selected the members beforehand instead of the class. The list of the members were sent to every 2nd years as a notice.
Kanzaki: It seems, that was the case after all.
Minamikita: Seems a bit suspicious.
Ninomiya: Yeah!
Honami: I wonder how the rewards will be distributed. Does it depend on our work performance?
Chiaki: I may be wrong, but this seems a bit...rushed and a spur of the moment special exam.
Hirata: It certainly feels a bit off.
Ike: Of course, you guys. It screams suspicious!
Chie: I don't recall our school ever conducting an exam like that...right?
Mashima: It wasn't entirely uncommon, but the group selection is quite minimized in this case.
"What the...."
"What kind of group is this..."
They couldn't help, but look astonished at the absurd combination.
As Chabashira left, the class gathered around their current leader, Horikita Suzune, who wasn't as perturbed as the others.
"What should we do, Horikita-san?"
"Hm..? Nothing really."
Her nonchalant behaviour only made them confused.
Suzune looked at the person who was standing a bit away from the group. Normally, the class would have been relieved, but considering that the troublemaker Kushida was selected for this event, made them anxious.
Moreover...
"Oi, Ayanokoji. Where are you going?" Sudo called.
The boy looked back, and all of them could tell that he wasn't exactly pleased with this sudden arrangement.
"Sleep."
With that, he left the classroom. Nobody felt like calling him back since he looked so pitiful.
Kiyotaka: Of course, I had to be selected among them.
Suzune: Ganbare...
Kei: Ganbare Kiyotaka.
"Well, I trust Kushida-san will be able handle this, right?" Suzune asked. Kikyo sighed, as she nodded in response.
"Of course. If it helps our class, I'll do my best," she said with a determined look.
After that, there was no room for complain, as Horikita discussed the rest of the event.
'Will he be alright...?' Karuizawa looked worried.
'There is no need to worry about Kushida-san if Ayanokoji-kun is there. That said, it is a strange combination. No, the event itself is strange,' Matsushita thought.
Except for their class, this conversation seemed a bit weird for the others who still didn't know about Kushida's nature. Some of them were whispering about this subtle detail.
Kushida: Heh I am fucked.
Ryuen: Kuku she's fucked.
Before the day of the departure, the members of each class were asked to gather in the annex meeting room for a briefing.
Kiyotaka dragged his feet there. Normally he would be earlier than anyone else, but this going outside event had left a bad taste in his mouth.
"Oh? Look who's finally here," Hashimoto called out with a grin. He was excited ever since the list of members were given to them.
Ichinose instantly smiled brightly upon seeing him.
"Hello Ayanokoji-kun," Hamaguchi greeted with a smile.
"Yes, hello," Kiyotaka nodded in response.
"Let's get along, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka," Morishita Ai spoke erratically.
This was his second time meeting this strange girl. Nonetheless, he politely nodded.
"Ayanokouji is on our team. This will be a breeze, right Ryuuen-san?"
"Whatever."
Kiyotaka wished that he would lower his voice a little, as all of them were glancing at him curiously. Well, it's not like they are completely unaware of his abilities at this point.
Ishizaki: Man I am glad to be on that team.
Nishino: I feel like you are gonna get screwed up a bunch of times.
Ishizaki: As if! Ryuen-san will protect me!
Yabu: Let's hope so.
Meanwhile, Albert was a little upset that he wasn't chosen for this event.
Morishita: Hm? Have we met before?
She thought while glancing at Kiyotaka, who also seemed curious.
Ninomiya: Look at you being all giddy.
Kobashi: Lucky Honami-chan. She can pull all the moves she wants in this exam.
Honami: N-no, I won't...I think.
"You are all here. Enter the room," Mashima-sensei spoke as he arrived at the meeting room. The group nodded silently as they mentally prepared themselves for whatever it was. The details of this event were explicit only to them. The others only knew that they would get class points and probably private points as well.
Satonaka: Yeah, this whole thing is getting more and more dubious.
Hashimoto: Come on, what's the worse that could happen? We have pretty capable people on our side.
Satonaka: That's true, but still..
Present Time:
Kiyotaka was relaxing in his room. The eight of them were given individual rooms to stay for the week.
The 'event' that has been imposed on them, was to act as security guards at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This event lasts for five days, or to be more specific: Five Nights
Ijuuin: Why does the setup seem oddly familiar?
Sotomura: You don't say.
Kikuchi: Yeah, I feel like I have seen this context before.
Kiyotaka didn't see the point in selecting a bunch students for doing this. He was starting to doubt if Chairman Sakayanagi was involved in it at all.
Chairman: Well, I certainly can't see myself sending the kids outside without strict adult supervision.
The reward will be class points according to contribution, while all of them would receive two million private points individually.
"If you guys can make it out at the end, that is."
He remembered those ominous words from the teachers and decided to be more vigilant than ever in this unknown territory.
Some of them gulped in nervousness, while others seeemd curious about where this was going.
Ike: It should be alright if nobody's gonna die...
He muttered while biting his nails.
The screen changed to a certain room of the hotel the students were staying in.
*knock knock*
Kiyotaka stood up quickly and answered the door. He was informed that he would be visited beforehand.
"Sorry for the intrusion~"
Without even waiting for his response, Ichinose strode inside his room. Kiyotaka looked at her for a moment before closing the door.
Several curious ears immediately perked up. Considering how their relationship was mentioned before in the earlier videos, this was sort of a scandalous moment for them.
Kei: hm? hm? hm? hm?
Obviously, she would pay the most attention out of all.
Ichinose was getting constantly teased for her bold actions as she struggled to keep up her calm demeanour.
Rest of the guys were watching gleefully with popcorn in their hands. Watching someone screw up was delightful in its own way.
"Have you rested well, Ichinose?"
She was wearing a cozy sweater and jeans. The smell of her perfume filled Kiyotaka's room quickly.
"Mm hm~ We have a very long night ahead, so rest is essential," she winked at him with a smile.
"....."
Was she teasing him?
Kiyotaka shook these thoughts away as they chatted freely for the time being.
Her ambiguous wording and indication caused several gasps of shock.
Arisu: My~Ichinose-san. I don't know about the others, but you are certainly taking advantage of this special exam.
Ryuen: kuku thirsty woman.
Hiyori: So... it isn't entirely wrong to feel this way?
Amikura: E-eto...
Watanabe: I fear for Ayanokoji's safety.
Ichika: I fear for his v-card~
Ichinose who heard the comments grew red in embarrassment.
Honami: I-I wouldn't do anything weird!!
Kobashi: Heeh~? You don't know that.
Ninomiya: You look very comfortable to me.
Asahina: Not very convincing.
*knock knock*
The both of them stopped talking as they looked at the door.
"Were you expecting someone, Ayanokoji-kun?" Ichinose asked, staring at the door.
"Not that I'm aware of," he replied. Ichinose's sudden tone change indicated that she wasn't pleased that their private time together was interrupted.
Some nervously chuckled at Ichinose's attitude. The said girl was receiving many questionable looks.
Kiyotaka quickly answered the door.
"...."
"Kushida...?"
Standing outside was his classmate, Kushida Kikyo. She was wearing a comfortable sleep shorts along with a t-shirt. Her smell almost rivaled Ichinose's. If it was any other guy, they would have fainted due to the sheer intoxication.
Hashimoto: One isn't enough for him, as expected.
Sudo: The king has it rough, huh?
This time, Kushida was on the receiving end of such stares, who tried to brush them off.
Suzune: Your habit of analysing a girl's smell is certainly disturbing.
Kiyotaka: No comment on that.
Sato: True. We have to be more conscious of what perfume we wear from now.
Kei kept poking Kiyotaka's cheek with a sweet smile on her face.
"Sorry to disturb you. Is it a good time...?" her words faded away, as she sensed another person inside the room. She peeked over his broad shoulders and saw Ichinose smiling at her and waving.
Kushida gave a questionable look towards Kiyotaka. He subtly shook his head, telling her that it's not what she was thinking.
"You can come inside Kikyo-chan. We were just having a friendly chat."
"A-are you sure?"
"Mm hm.."
Kushida wasn't an idiot. It was extremely subtle, but she could tell from Ichinose's tone that she wasn't particularly pleased from her being here. But to avoid her getting the wrong idea, she had no choice.
Chiaki: I can see the sparks flying.
The two girls sat on his bed, while keeping some distance, as Kiyotaka sat on the chair.
"....."
"......"
"...."
'This is getting uncomfortable,' Kiyotaka thought.
Ichinose was humming while Kushida shot an irritated look at Kiyotaka.
'At times like this, there is only one thing a guy can do.'
Kiyotaka steeled his will with a determined look.
There was an unusual hollow of unpleasant cheers from the boys.
"Is it finally time?"
"Hell yes!"
"Finally, some good fucking content!"
The girls threw disgusted glances at them, but curious about what would happen themselves.
.
.
'And that is, to keep his mouth shut.'
The atmosphere didn't last long as soon after, the both started chatting on different topics. Kiyotaka also provided his input when necessary. At the end of the day, both of them were social beings to their core.
Expectations died down around the room, just like Asian parents for their ungifted children.
Kushida: T-this perverts..!! What were they expecting!?
Inogashira: Calm down, Kikyo-chan.
Kushida: H-huh?! I'm perfectly cal-
Azuma: Your eyes tell a different story.
Suzune: Don't mind these idiots.
Things were getting normal when...
*knock knock*
The girls stopped talking abruptly, as they looked at the door, then at each other and then at Kiyotaka, who sighed as he stood up.
'What now?'
Hashimoto: M-masaka! A third one-?
Satonaka: We are no match for his incredible charisma.
He opened the door to see two individuals standing there.
"Yo!" Ishizaki greeted cheerfully, with Ryuen standing behind him with an annoyed look.
Hashimoto: Well...I am pretty open minded.
"......"
'...of all people.'
Seeing Kiyotaka's deadpan look, they immediately noticed the two individuals sitting on his bed with uncomfortable expressions.
"....."
"Uh....um..."
Ishizaki's cheerful look was replaced with an awkward smile.
"Kuku let's go Ishizaki. They seemed to be busy at the moment."
Nobody was dense enough to not get what Ryuen was trying to hint at.
"O-oh..sorry Ayanokoji! And good luck!" Giving him a thumbs up, Ishizaki quickly moved away, followed by Ryuen.
"He read the room pretty quickly there."
"As expected of Ryuen's subordinate."
Ryuen: Pardon the intrusion kuku.
The girls in question grew in embarrassment the longer this prolonged.
Kiyotaka watched them walk away while thinking about the misunderstanding of this situation. He turned to the girls.
"I think it's time we met up with the others."
The girls reluctantly nodded with his suggestion.
Asahina: Aw~ that ended without much happening.
Ichika: Don't worry senpai. There is still five nights left. One of them is bound to be spicy~
Nanase: Please be appropriate for once.
Her words aroused mixed feelings among the crowd.
Kiyotaka: Whatever she is thinking, I hope it doesn't come to fruition.
.
.
Night 1:
It was 15 minutes till midnight.
The group of students from ANHS had just entered the infamous pizzeria.
"What kind of freaky ass place is this?!"
Despite his strong language,
