"Is there no one to give this woman away?" The priest asked. We both shook our heads. "I'm am orphaned." I explain, tears threatened to fall and nearly did when his hands fell upon my shoulders. "My child, I will take the place of your late father." The priest said, lifting my chin so my eyes met his. I felt a tear escape as I smiled a wide grin. "Thank you!" I threw my arms around the priests neck and hugged him. He backed away at surprise, then hugged me back. "Christine, I.. Umm.... I have something for you." Erik stuttered, he must be nervous since that never happens. I let go of the priest and turned finding Erik standing with his arms out before him holding a box. "Here." He said stiffly. I giggled and took the box. As I opened it, I felt my jaw drop. Folded up inside the box was a beautiful white gown. I felt myself tear up again. When he had the time to get this dress tailored, I haven't the slightest idea but it was gorgeous. I haven't owned a new dress since the Raoul incident; we've been journeying a long way so we wouldn't become suspects of murder. I've been in the same green dress since, a new one made my day! As did the priest saying he'd give me away! "Erik I.. I don't know what to say! It's beautiful!!" I cried. I placed the box down and ran into his open arms. "Thank you!" I cried into his coat as he held me. "Go and try it on." He suggested. I nodded and picked up the box, leaving for a back room.

Assuming I would need help, the priest sent in some nuns to help me. Around half an hour later, I had the dress on and everyone who helped me was gawking at it. "How does it look?" I ask. They said nothing but stood staring, mouths agape. Two nuns went behind me and started working with my hair. When they got it the way they wanted it, the third and fourth grabbed the veil and all together they put in on me. They started fixing it around my shoulders then pulled a layer over my face. One brought a small bouquet of flowers then backed away. One of them clasped her hands together and she started tearing up. Another peeked through the door and said something then returned to the room. She came up to me, she was the top nun I think. In a motherly way, she put her hand to my cheek. "Child, are you ready?" She asked. I took a deep breath and nodded. I didn't know that we would have the wedding today, but I'm ready. I walked to the door, the butterflies in my stomach flying everywhere. "No backward glances.." I quietly sung to myself. The motherly nun opened the door and I walked. They may have surrounded me, and the church may be beautiful, but the only thing I could see was Erik; And he was the only thing I wanted to see.
