New chapter :)

I'm with Camilo in Casita seeing how he does the imitations of our family and some people in the village, I finally managed to convince him to leave the imitation of Miss Perfect, more than anything to not feel guilty, since although I did not give her the nickname, I was the one who used it most and now that I know the circumstances I feel guilty to have used that nickname to bother her, but now she is doing everything possible to help me, her and the whole family.

"Mirabel you feel better?" Camilo approached me.

"Yes, I feel a little better, at least I don't feel so tired anymore and your impressions always put me in a good mood" I gave him a cheerful smile.

Camilo celebrated and did a dance that in my opinion was ridiculous but he looked happy so let him celebrate.

"Mirabel, I brought you a tea to warm your body" I looked at the grandmother coming towards me with a tray and three cups of tea in them, grandma sat on one of the chairs, I sat as best I could and camilo sat next to me.

"Mirabel... I'm sorry all this is happening to you" Abuela under her head.

"Abuela, none of this is your fault, I would say it's more my fault since I was the stubborn one who did not want to let go of the candle" Camilo growled.

"It's not your fault, thanks to you it was that we recovered our family, our home and our powers, also not even Abuela could have known that something like this would happen to you, none knew it, no one is guilty here, neither you, nor Abuela, nor I... nobody" Camilo gave me a smile.

"Thank you for being here Camilo..."

"And I will be for the rest of your life so you better get used to it because I will not let Isabela turn you into a second Isabela, nor will I let Toñito take away my title of favorite cousin" Abuela and I laugh.

"Camilo you already lost the battle against your brother I'm afraid, you lost it five years ago and I don't think you're going to win it now" Abuela smiled.

"Abuela, not you too" Camilo was defeated. The fact that we can laugh despite the situation makes me feel better since I don't want anyone to suffer because of what happens to me, it's like Camilo says, nobody is guilty of this.

We finished him tea between laughs and Abuela took the tray and I felt more relaxed, Camilo beside me smiled.

"Hey, if you had my gift, who do you think you'd turn into first?" Meditate for a moment.

"Well your gift is harmless for the most part, the problem is that I can't control it, so I wouldn't know how to tell you, I might become a family member or maybe not, how do you choose?"

"mm at first I needed to concentrate on the appearance of the person, so I had to spend hours learning how they looked, it cost a lot that they were perfect, but when I did, it became natural, now changing my shape is almost like breathing" None of them had it easy, I guess it's not receiving a gift and being an expert on it after all.

"I remember when we were six we used to have sleepovers and you always imitated Isa or Dolores to make me laugh," Camilo smiled.

"Yes, I remember that the first person I did the right imitation was Dolores, then you were and so I progressed until I could transform into a whole Encanto" Camilo opened his arms and became Aunt Pepa.

"I hope Abuela doesn't see you or scold you" Camilo laughed.

"Abuela is not so strict anymore, she owes me for Toñito" I laughed gracefully.

"Hey, you know I love you very much, not that I have a preference for anyone" Camilo made a pot.

"Well, I'd say you give Toñito quite a preference, you even made him a stuffed Jaguar," Camilo folded his arms.

"Don't tell me you want one too..." Camilo looked away.

"Maybe not a stuffed animal, but I would like to have something done for you"

"I guess I could do something" Camilo smiled and hugged me.

"Yeees!, finally Antonio will not presume me to be the favorite" i raise an eyebrow.

"Wait Antonio does what?"

"Ups you weren't supposed to know that..." Camilo broke away from our hug.

I was going to ask about it, but in that I felt an electric current running through my body and at the time my body felt different.

"Mira... you..." Camilo beside me looked shocked and a little scared.

"Camí what happens?"

"Mirabel... you... you look like me..." Camilo followed with a shocked look.

I looked at my alarmed body and in effect my clothes were not my clothes, I wore the same yellow ruana of Camilo and my body had changed completely.

"Oh my God... it's happening again" I started to panic.

this should not be bad, I say you can not hurt anyone" Camilo looked nervous and I tried to calm down.

I wished that Mom was here to feel better, as I thought about it I felt again that current going through me and body again felt strange.

"You are now Aunt Julieta..." Camilo looked at me in amazement.

"How am I supposed to be again"

"Amm I guess thinking about yourself that's what works for me at least" Try to focus me.

I tried to think about myself, I could feel the current and again my body felt weird.

"I told you about you, not Luisa." I looked at my body and it was much bigger and more muscular.

"I sure as hell was thinking about me" I closed my eyes tightly and tried to change again.

"You're a Anbuela now" I was starting to get frustrated.

"Tell me to stop if I change myself again" I refocused and this time the current turned into burning.

"Uncle Agustin, Dolores, Antonio, Dad, Mom, Aunt Juliet, Isabela, me, Aunt Julieta, Abuela... ¡ Mirabel for these changing very fast, I can not distinguish who you are changing!" I stopped, I felt tired my mind.

"How I'm supposed to be me again" Camilo took me by the shoulders.

"Try to focus, but I will transform in you to help your mental image" Camilo became me.

"I'll try again." I closed my eyes again.

"Luisa, Mama, Abuela, Abuelo, Aunt Julieta, Cecilia, Yo, Antonio, Isabela, Papa, Dolores, Abuela, Isabela, Tío Agustín, I... Stop again you're doing it very fast..." Camilo beside me looked worried and I was starting to feel really exhausted.

"Camí let's try to be in touch, it worked when I had to control the plants, the clouds and the tornado, it might work now" Camilo nodded and took my hands tightly and closed my eyes, I felt the burning again, but somehow it was different.

"I think it works I'm feeling my magic running through my body to get to you... Look open your eyes and look at me" Look at Camilo still transformed in me.

"I will try to change" I felt the flow of magic inside me, it felt like something warm and kind, I looked at Camilo in front of me and I felt my body begin to change as yellow butterflies began to surround us...

"You're Abuela... now Aunt Juliet... Isabela..." I tried to concentrate more.

The flow felt more intense than before and I felt Camilo's grip stronger than before, I could see how it began to wear out and his own form change began to manifest, I saw him change many of the people and then... An electricity ran all over my body causing me to let go of the truck's hands and we both fell to the ground.

"What just happened?... What the hell was that?" Camilo looked at his hands with fear in his eyes.

"I don't know... but it was scary..." Camilo looked at me and sighed.

"Well, the good thing is that you're back to being your..." I looked at myself and I actually got my clothes back and could feel my body as if it were myself.

"Can you tell what happened here?" We both turned to Abuela and I felt my pulse racing.

"Emm in short, Mirabel had my gift for a short period of time, we couldn't get it back to its original self, it changed very quickly, we held hands, I felt my magic transferred to it, then an electricity ran through my whole body, my magic was absorbed suddenly, we separated because of this, we fell to the ground and Mirabel returned to be herself" Camilo ended with agitated breathing... Apparently throwing a lot of words at you is a family thing, because Abuela stared at you trying to process everything Camilo said.

I got up off the floor and was ready to say that I was fine, but as I took a step in the direction of Grandma I felt my whole body hurt quite strongly, I fell to the ground as I felt all my muscles tighten causing me a pain I had never felt before, making me scream.

"MIRABEL" Camilo and grandma knelt around me not knowing what to do. "Camilo what's happening?!" Grandma's voice sounded frightened.

"I DON'T KNOW, SHAPE SHIFTING SHOULDN'T HURT HER!" My body kept writhing, making my screams scare them more and more.

"What do we do?" I could barely see them, but I could see how their expressions looked horrified.

"I don't know... wait... now I remember..." Camilo opened his eyes when he remembered something.

"WHAT CAMILO!?" Grandma looked increasingly desperate.

"When I was a kid... I used to practice shape-shifting for a long time... when I exceeded... my body sometimes hurt a lot, there were times when it was even impossible to sleep" Grandmother looked at Camilo.

"What was the pain?"

"To that I demanded too much my body, our bodies are protected by magic not to suffer for our gifts, but even that has a limit... Dolores have bled from the ears, Louise has torn, Uncle Bruno suffers from insomnia and severe headaches... We've all at some point reached the limit of our gifts and that comes with consequences..." Camilo hit the ground, I gritted my teeth to contain the pain and not scream.

"... I... never realized..." Camilo sighed.

"That's because no one ever talks about it, none of us like to be seen as weak and being honest probably wouldn't have mattered before either... Now Mirabel is suffering the consequences of it... the worst thing is that I think it's all because he doesn't have a gift... she has no magic of her own to protect her and the magic of charm is not hers..." Camilo looked frustrated and upset.

"I'll be fine... just... I must resist..." My breathing was agitated and I could feel the sweat on my body.

"You're not! Stop pretending everything's okay when you're the one suffering the most!" Camilo began to cry and I felt bad for not being able to move my body to console him.

"Mirabel... I'm really sorry..." Abuela looked mortified.

My body stopped writhing to leave my body tired and unable to move... But before I could continue to mourn the three of us we were frightened to feel as the front door was opened in a strident way and followed by a scream too familiar.

"MIRABEEEEL!" I did not get out of my stupor when I saw how I got to where we found an Isabella in a rather disastrous state as she had disheveled hair and looked quite exhausted, however, she barely saw me come to me like lightning.

"Isa..." My voice was just a murmur, but his worried look was quite evident.

"What happened?... Dolores said that I hear you scream" Camilo beside me I look a little afraid to Isabela.

"It was my fault, Mirabel got my gift, it got out of control and that hurt his entire body... I'm sorry... I..." Isabela looked at Camilo and denied.

"It's not your fault, we knew it could happen... but I didn't expect it to hurt her" Isabela bent over.

"But..." Isabela denied.

"I'll take Mira to Uncle Bruno's room, you stay here until the rest of the family arrives... Camilo takes care of this" Isabela delivered a candle to Camilo who received it a little trembling.

"We will wait here" Camilo and Abuela got up and Isabela nodded.

"Mira, this will hurt, but I promise it will only be for a short time." Isabela held me in her arms and I rose gently, but I still felt my whole body burn and I could not help but let out a moan of pain.

Isabela carried me up the stairs gently and I avoided having to climb them, I could see how Isabela was exhausted and thanked Casita, once up Isa fast way to Uncle Bruno's room and with one of his vines opened the door slamming.

"I'm starting to think you have something against the doors" Isa growled. "Desperate times require desperate measures" I smiled a little at that.

"Yes, but the doors are not to blame" Isa rolled her eyes.

Isa entered and walked towards the place where the balcony was, we crossed the bridge and climbed quickly but carefully the steps to lie down on one of the sofas and she sat next to me.

"Are you all right, Isa?" Isa grimaced.

"Even in your situation you don't stop worrying about others..." Isa looked at me with reproach.

"You know I care about family and you're part of it"

"I know, but learn to care for yourself as well..." I sit slowly and painfully.

"Says the one who seems to have just gone through hell... you look terrible" Isa raised an eyebrow.

"Well, you look like they just cleaned the floor with you"

"At least I don't have the hair of a witch" Isa became the offended.

"At least I can still move" I sigh

"Not for long your arms are shaking" Isa looked at her arms and then at me.

"You're an idiot..."

"And you a bossy"

"Bad influence"

"Princess"

"stubborn"

"Rude"

"Reckless"

"You're just like me"

"I hate you"

"I hate you more"

We both looked at each other with furrowed signals and we started to laugh.

"You are really incorrigible" Isa smiled

"We are two... you are a terrible person... but I love you..." I gave Isa a smile.

"I love you too, if I didn't I wouldn't have crossed the whole city trying to get to you" he sighs.

"I'm glad you're my sister" Isa froze and looked at me in shock.

"I don't deserve such a title..." I approached Isa slowly to rest on her shoulder.

"I forgave you for everything, you must not continue to blame yourself, besides now you are here, you did not leave me" Isa hugged me.

"I am no monster Mira, even Señorita Perfecta Isabela would have come... there are things that simply cannot be ignored..." Isa looked at me seriously.

"I guess you're right... on the other hand you could tidy up your hair a little bit I really can't take you seriously when you look so bad" Isa laughed.

Our laughter was interrupted by the door being slammed open to reveal our family rushing in really this family has something with the doors, Uncle Bruno seeing us ran in our direction.

"Mirabel!"

"Uncle Bruno, you've arrived" Isa was relieved.

"If it cost a bit to gather everyone, you could say that already the whole town knows that there is something wrong"

"Did they ask something?"

"No, but to see the family running with worried faces is a more than enough sign to know that something is not right" Isabela sighed

"If you saw them it is certain that me too" I nodded.

"Well then we will handle it, now we have another priority" Uncle Bruno looked at me and I saw how the rest of the family was approaching us.

"We have three candles, how will we know which is the right one?" Camilo held one of the candles.

Look carefully at the three candles and for some reason I don't understand what I should do.

"Put the three candles on the table" My voice sounded serious and sure.

Everyone looked at me in silence but did what I asked, I separated from Isa and I got up with effort, I took the three candles and I saw as butterflies began to appear around me, I felt as a warmth ran through my body, which began to release golden flashes, The candles went on and the light that came off the candles began to shine, I saw how the family began to cover itself with the flash, however I did not close my eyes at any time and I saw clearly how the three candles began to unify becoming one...

Once unified the light faded, I fell to my knees and uncle Bruno held me, not to collapse at all, I looked at my hands where now there was a single candle, much bigger than the previous one, with designs of flowers, animals, butterflies, food, clouds a sun, among other things, I smiled as it meant that the candle now represented us all.

"Is it done?" Aunt Pepa's voice sounded like a murmur.
