This happened before Hyacinth's disappearance

As the second prince of the Kakin empire, one would think that her life would be amazing. And while that was true in a sense, Camilla also knew that her life is full of danger.

As the second-in-line in throne, Camilla is in the position where she could pose a danger to her first brother, Benjamin, and while Benjamin, that brute, never really took her seriously, his mother certainly does.

So it should come as no surprise to Camilla that the first queen, Unma, would send people to spy on her. Camilla accepted this reality, because as the first queen, she has the authority to send her own soldiers to spy on the lesser princes. But that does not mean that Camilla would accept the danger that subtely came to her on the form of malicious acts.

It was a heavy lesson when she woke up disoriented in the royal ward because of long-term poisoning and Camilla heavily suspected that the first queen planned for this. Whether it was an intimidation tactic or plain murder, it made Camilla realize just how utterly vulnerable she was.

In an effort to stay away from the grasp of the first queen, no matter how temporarily, she escaped the palace to find ways to become stronger because she knew that no one will help her(With her mother being spineless and weak, no one is strong enough to protect her)

The escape turned out to be beneficial to her as she was quickly introduced to the world of nen. As a normal human being, Camilla would probably never give in so much thought in her Hatsu but as the second prince, her hatsu must aid her at the most dangerous times.

But what should it be? As she was thinking about it. A threat was heard on the marketplace.

"All of you! Hand over your money! Or this kid will die!" A large man holding a knife on a child's neck was making a ruckus. If she was a little kinder, maybe Camilla would help but she would not risk her life for anyone. She is selfish like that.

"Enough of that, can you  stop doing this already" A voice responded and a figure of a woman could be seen.

The knife that was held at the neck flew out of the man's hand and stabbed the woman at the heart. It was an instant kill.

"Hah! The boss was right, if she saw a child in distress, she will definitely respond" The man laughed, and the child, tha Camilla suspected to be an accomplice, was released.

Camilla pat herself in the back in relief, if what she guessed was right. The man's nen ability let his knife target the first to respond to him and unfortunately, it seems like this situation is premediated.

To everyone's surprise, the woman who was supposed to have died, get up and healed herself right in front of her eyes.

"Will that man stop testing my limits already?" She then turned to her murderer
"And you lackeys never really learned" With a snap of her fingers, the men turned to dust and the child only remain.

"Find better ways to live other than this, kid, you will never really know what monsters you will encounter" With that final line, the woman disappeared with a crack.

What was that? Is that how nen is used by people with more aptitude and experience? Can she be like that?

That experience gave her so much inspiration! Camila had plenty of threats wanting her to die so what if once she died, her murderer will die in place of her! In that way, she is effectively free from death!

(Oh Camilla, sometimes, death is the better option)

Notes: All those inline for succession in Kakin Empire are called "prince" whether they are born males or females. Unma, as the first queen and mother to the first prince, can place guards on the lower princes and by that, I mean 2nd to the last prince available. Camilla's mother on the other hand, also have this power but she can't place guards on the prince's above her children.
According to what I have read in manga, Duazul, Camilla's mom, is gentle, demure, and chooses to always stay neutral.
Camilla's ability is Cat's name which basically activates once she was killed. A nen-cat will then be conjured and will take the lifeforce of her killer thus resurrecting her. But the thing is, Camilla cannot do anything if no one would outright kill her. She could be tortured and isolated and she can do nothing so yes, she is free from death but she is not free from the pain of life.
