In the primeval dawn of Celethra's existence, the cosmos witnessed the birthing of eight arcane fragments, the Cigers, each a vessel of unparalleled might. These fragments were endowed with their distinct enchantments by the deity Austia, who, upon completing this divine act, vanished into the annals of legend. Each Ciger is a font of unique power, bearing an appearance as singular as its essence. Whispers of ancient lore proclaim that the confluence of all eight Cigers shall unlock the power to fulfill any heart's deepest desire, thereby ensnaring the ambitions of those who covet supremacy.

Many sought to lay their hands upon the fabled Cigers, spurred by the allure of immeasurable puissance. Yet, myriad endeavors culminated in abject failure, their aspirations dashed upon the rocks of futility. Meanwhile, others descended into remorseless strife, mercilessly slaughtering their rivals to winnow the competition and enhance their prospects of seizing the revered Cigers. The allure of such power transmuted allies into adversaries, and the quest for the Cigers devolved into a ferocious and sanguinary contest for dominion.

Legends say that the eight fragments will one day be retrieved by the goddess Austia herself, though the truth behind this prophecy remains shrouded in mystery.

In a twist of fate, our humble parents, dedicated their lives in finding all the Cigers, devoted to safeguarding these potent relics. Their journey led them to a mysterious man named Dr. Lucas Wilde, who shared their noble mission. Together, they successfully located the Cigers, but aware of the immense danger that knowledge of their discovery could bring, they swore to keep it a secret.

United by their oath to protect the Cigers and maintain the peace in our world, they embarked on a cautious and scholarly quest, meticulously studying each Ciger. The three of them were steadfast in their determination to prevent these powerful fragments from falling into the wrong hands, ensuring that their formidable powers would never be misused.

I was always fascinated by the Cigers, often sneaking glimpses of my parents' studies and reading their journals in secret. I dreamed of growing up to protect the Cigers just as they did.

I often asked my parents why they chose not to harness the Cigers' power, and their response was always steeped in wisdom and caution. They believed that the Cigers are integral to a delicate balance that sustains our world, Celethra. They feared that tapping into these powers might unravel this balance, precipitating unforeseen chaos and wreaking havoc on the very fabric of our reality. Instead, they placed their trust in their own skills and ingenuity, preferring to rely on their dependable and controllable abilities rather than the unpredictable and potentially destructive nature of the Cigers.

Unbeknownst to my parents, Dr. Lucas Wilde, driven by ambition who was trusted by my parents, revealed his true agenda. Dr. Wilde's greed and obsession led him to betray my parents and steal the Cigers from them. They tried to stop him but failed. On that same day, my mother returned without my father, she was holding the six Cigers, gravely wounded and crying.

"Mom! Where's Dad?" Xin asked, her voice trembling with worry while she embraced our mother.

Our mother groaned in pain, trying to endure her numerous wounds.

"There's no time to explain," she said, her voice strained but firm. "Nix, I need you to be brave for your sister."

Xin started to sob, her eyes wide with fear as she looked at our mother.

She entrusted the six Cigers to me and each of the Cigers mysteriously entered my body, filling me with a powers I had never felt before. Lacking the enough knowledge and strength to wield them, I was left confused and frightened.

"But Mom," I stammered, "I don't know how to control the Cigers."

She managed a weak smile, her eyes full of determination. "You can do this, Nix. Trust yourself."

"Protect them with all cost Nix, prevent Dr. Wilde from his evil plan. I'll send you and your sister far away from here. Your father and I love both of you so much," she hugged us as the tears from her eyes fell down.

"Nix, I'm afraid," Xin said, her voice trembling as she gripped my hand, tears welling in her eyes.

"It will be okay, Xin. We can do this," I assured her, trying to stay strong despite my own fear.

Our parents, renowned inventors, archaeologists, and scientists, had secretly built a machine designed to transport someone to a different world in case of emergency. Now, with Dr. Wilde closing in, it was time to use it

An explosion outside the laboratory signaled Dr. Wilde's arrival. My mother hurriedly activated the machine, placing my sister Xin and me in separate tubes. The moment she did that I knew what her plan was.

When Dr. Wilde reached us, he instantly used one of the Cigers to burn our mother to death right before our eyes. I screamed and cried in horror and grief as I watched her turn to ashes.

Xin's fear was palpable, and I struggled to remain composed. The machine finally activated, but Dr. Wilde did something to Xin inside her tube. She screamed and sobbed in pain, and I could only watch helplessly.

Everything went white, and I lost consciousness.

I awoke to excruciating pain, blood flowing from a wound on my head. As my vision cleared, I saw Xin standing before me, her eyes black with corruption.

"Give me the Cigers, and I'll let you live, along with your pathetic sister's body," Dr. Wilde demanded, his voice calm but threatening. I realized he had taken control of her.

"What have you done to my sister, you monster?! Xin, it's me, Nix. Fight him!" I pleaded.

He laughed. "Xin isn't here. Thanks to the Dominus Ciger, I control her body. Now, give me the Cigers!"

In an instant, Xin's eyes returned to normal, fear etched on her face. "Nix, you have to do it alone. Don't worry about me. Don't give him the Cigers. Protect them at all costs. I... I lo-love you..." Her eyes turned black again before she could finish.

"Fool! Give me the Cigers! I can feel them inside you!" Dr. Wilde commanded.

"N-no!" I shouted, summoning all my strength. I felt the Cigers within me, their essence bursting forth and scattering like ethereal seeds into the world. Each fragment found a vessel in unsuspecting souls across the place where we landed. I didn't know how I managed to do that but as my strength faded, I felt the legacy blossoming in the lives of those touched by the unexpected gifts.

"What have you done?!" Dr. Wilde screamed. I chuckled weakly as my vision went black.

In the darkness, I saw our parents from afar, smiling before slowly fading away.
