The Biden-Harris transition will have access to intelligence briefings, funding, office space, agencies, Covid task force, clearances, etc.

Somebody (Emily Murphy) didn't want to face consequences and with more and more states certifying results and rejecting the coup, she was running out of reasons to delay. Too late sweetie, you destroyed your reputation and will be toxic to whoever hires you next (I'm gonna laugh hysterically if Trump fires her tonight/tomorrow).

It's a completely insane self-pitying letter but she finally did it and that's all I care about. Can't wait to see who her replacement is. Like Joe and Kamala succeeding Trump and Pence, it'll be an instant 100% improvement.

Now in addition to the media trying to guess cabinet appointments they'll be competing to guess who gets Kamala's Senate seat -now that the transition is official and she no longer needs that seat for access to intelligence briefings - I'd assume she'd be leaving her seat soon-ish. Though VP's have less to do with the transition (but given they intend to govern as a pair, I'd expect she's pretty fully involved) so who knows.

On to Georgia everyone! For all the marbles; the Senate, the cabinet, a functioning government, telling Mitch McConnell to go fuck himself, whatever makes you happy.
