Taehyung POV

-flashback-

"Taehyungie," she whined from across my room "what's taking you so long?" I chuckled as I walked back into the room after getting extra blankets from the living room.

"I was only gone for like three minutes."

"I know but I'm cold." She pouted, slipping her bottom lip out farther than the top one.

I swooned at how adorable she was and tossed a blanket to her, resulting in the pout leaving her face as soon as it hit the pile of pillows beside her. She wrapped it around her body, sighing in happiness as I giggled and wrapped another blanket around both of us this time. She shimmied over to my body as best as she could while wrapped, burrito style, in two blankets.

"Look at all these cute pictures of us!" She looked up at me while pulling a small stack of polaroids out of her sweatshirt pocket under the blanket cocoon. Her delicate fingers flipped through the frames, which depicted frozen moments of our relationship. My heart warmed up to the point where I thought she might feel it against the back of her head where she rested on my chest. I shifted my body to the side so that I was facing her and she did the same, allowing me to bring my arm around her to pull her closer. I drifted my hand up her back, resulting in a slight giggle leaving her lips.

Her dark honey eyes fixed on mine. My fingers found her silky hair, which had been flipped behind her to lay scattered across the pillow, I traced all the way up to the shell of her ear, running my finger gently over the silver ring in the top of her ear, then over across her cheek to the bridge of her nose, where my finger traced down to the tip of her nose to bring my thumb over her blushy lips.

Her delicate fingers found their way out of the blanket cocoon to bring her arm around my neck. She entangled them into the hair above the nape of my neck, combing them up and through over the back of my head. Her face got closer to mine, our noses just barely touching as we both leaned in to catch each other's lips. Just as this happened, my bedroom door swung open to reveal a troubled-looking Jungkook looking down at his phone in confusion.

"Hey, Taehyungie Hyung, can you help me wit-" He finally looked up from his phone and his face flooded with red, his sentence abruptly cut off, "...nevermindI'lljustaskJinHyung!" Just as fast as he entered the room, he had scurried away to find Jin. I rolled my eyes and turned back to my girlfriend who was hysterically laughing.

"He can be so clueless som-"

"KIM TAEHYUNG! WHAT DID YOU DO TO JUNGKOOK?!?" I was cut off by the voice of Jin Hyung as I heard his footsteps making their way down the hallway to my bedroom. I rolled my eyes yet again and waited for him to burst through the door just like Jungkook had moments before. I was right and not ten seconds later, my bedroom door swung open to reveal an unimpressed Jin Hyung and a still red-faced Jungkook. I shot him an annoyed stare and turned to my Hyung.

"We weren't doing anything that should have made this idiot," I moved my gaze sharply to Jungkook, "freak out so much. All we were doing was basically laying in my bed cuddling." I slightly cringed at how weird that sounded but brushed it off as if was the truth and I enjoyed it.

"You told me they were making out and that it looked like they were about to do something 'I wouldn't approve of!'" Jin exclaimed toward the innocent-looking maknae. Now all three of us in the room were staring expectantly at Jungkook.

"Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little bit, but how do you know that Taehyung Hyung isn't lying?!" Jungkook said defensively. Jin rolled his eyes and glanced over at me.

"Could you not see the way Mihyun laughed at you after what you said they were doing? Obviously, it wasn't that serious that I needed to say something, you're just being a baby and I know that we are all boys here, but now that Taehyungie has a girlfriend, this can pose at the perfect opportunity for you to learn how to knock on someone's door before barging in." Jin Hyung's motherly side was on full brightness as he scolded Jungkook. Once he was finished, he turned to the two of us who were still observing the conversation, waiting for them to leave my room.

"Well, I've got to get back to the kitchen before Namjoon breaks something and Jimin and Hoseok eat everything before I've finished cooking it, but you are always welcome to stay for dinner, Minyun." He sent a charming smile to Mihyun and she sent one back.

"Thank you, Jin.. wait, how old are you?" She questioned.

"I am the oldest of the seven of us. I was born in 1992." Jin replied with pride. He loved being the oldest because he got to take care of all of us.
"Oh! I was born in '96. So are all of you older than me?"

"Almost, Jungkookie was born in '97, but the rest of us are older," I replied. She looked at me in surprise.

"Oh, well, thank you for catching me up. And I would love to stay for dinner, Oppa." She giggled, looking back at Jin.

-end of flashback-

Mihyun POV

After locking my door, I hurried down the steps, threw my hair into a messy updo, and stepped out into the morning air. The clouds covered every inch of the floating blue ocean and the gleaming sun, making it colder than I had anticipated, but I didn't worry, as I was only going across the street and I would be staying inside the whole time. I stepped into the small coffee shop on the corner across from my apartment and was relieved to notice how it was warmer than the air outside.

A familiar strong scent wafted over me. It smelled like home. Like comfort. But, it held memories as bitter as the cause of the overwhelming scent and just as sweet as the muffins that lay in the display cases. I first met him here.

And now, I would be recalling the demise of everything we used to have, right here, in the cafe that we had our first date. I refused to let the oncoming tsunami of emotion crest as I glanced around to find Yoongi.

I found him sitting at a table next to the window, sipping an iced americano with his hair combed back into a hat and a mask resting just under his lower lip, curling around his chin. His eyebrows were squished together in concentration as he stared at his phone. I walked over to the table, the laces of my old converse sneakers dragging on the flood after I neglected to tie them, as that would have made me even later than I already was.

This morning, Skittles had found a way to press snooze on my alarm after jumping onto the bed and I woke up a whole fifteen minutes later that I had planned, which left me with a sum of five minutes to get dressed.

"Hello, Yoongi-ssi." I caught his attention and he smiled at me, gesturing for me to sit across from him.

"Hello, Mihyun-ah. Look, I know that we haven't really seen each other as much as we used to but you don't need to be so formal with me. That goes for all seven of us. But, only if you're still comfortable, that is." He half-heartedly huffed out. I laughed at this and replied.

"Sorry Yoongi Oppa, but I wasn't sure if that was okay with you guys still when I saw you at photo shoots." He shot me a look of surprise as if this explanation was completely different from what he expected.

"Well, anyways, I really appreciate you meeting me because I really don't think I can bear seeing what's going on without knowing why it's happening for any longer." He said. "For mine and the boy's well being and for his."

"What do you mean? Taehyung didn't tell you guys anything? What's going on?" I asked, completely confused.

"We'll get to that. But, first I need to know why you guys broke up. Maybe that will explain some things." He replied dismissively. I thought about it but just decided that this will clear things up too because Yoongi evidently had no idea what had been going on.

"Well, do you want me to start from the beginning?" I asked.

"Where else would you start?" He replied, voice oozing sarcasm.

"Nevermind. So, it really was over the course of a whole day and it started..."

-flashback-

*can you recognize the beginning from a past flashback?*

A faint but annoyingly consistent buzzing noise woke me from my peaceful sleep. I looked around and smiled at Taehyung, who had his arm tightly wrapped around my waist, pressing me into the warmth of his body. I cuddled closer into him, attempting to block out the annoying buzzing but, I couldn't seem to get my mind to ignore it.

I let out an aggravated groan and gently shifted to move Taehyung's protective arm from my waist. I giggled lightly as a whine left his sleeping form, wondering how he could make that noise while he's asleep. But, after succeeding in getting out of the bed, I got up and glanced around the room in search of what had been an unintentional alarm clock.

I checked my phone, which had shown only five notifications, then I silently made my way to the other side of the bed where I found Taehyung's phone going off about seven times a second. He must've forgotten to turn off notifications for an app I figured, picking the device up to silence it and go back to bed. I slid my finger across the bottom and typed in his password.

There were countless twitter notifications which I had assumed was the cause of the noise. Curious, I tapped on the small blue icon and after loading for a few seconds, a list of tweets showed up.

"How could Tae Oppa date such a slut like that?!"

"Ugh! Taehyung deserves so much better than that ugly whore!"

"Why is he wasting his time on that fat bitch?!"

"She probably just wants him for his money, she's not even famous. What a slut."

"We need to get rid of this bitch who stole our Taehyung Oppa."

They went on for miles as my finger scrolled down for what seemed like forever. My eyes traveled up to the photo that had been snapped of us while we were on a date. It was him and I walking hand-in-hand at a park. My eyes flooded with tears as I slowly sank to the floor. They don't even know me! I couldn't believe how mean his fans were. It was at this point that I cleared the app, leaving all the notifications and dropped his phone back onto the nightstand.

I stumbled into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I ran my fingers through my hair, watching the salty streams that ran down my face. I swept them away with my shaking hand and turned around to lean my shaking body against the countertop and look out the bathroom to the mess of sheets that my boyfriend was tangled up in.

His soft hair stuck up in every direction like he had possibly been struck by lightning. He shuffled around, looking for something and ended up pulling my pillow in and snuggling it into his chest. I let out a choked giggle watching as his lips were slightly open and soft snores were coming out of his mouth.

Turning around to look in the mirror again, I tugged at the sleeves of the shirt I had on. His to be specific. I leaned forward to observe how puffy my eyes and cheeks had become. Poking my fleshy red cheek, I groaned as I couldn't let Tae see me like this. I checked the time to see how much longer it would be before he woke up because there was no way I would be able to fall asleep now.

The small clock on my nightstand read 7:53 and I figured I had about an hour, which would be more than enough time for the swelling to go down. I grabbed my own phone and made my way to the couch. I plopped down, grabbing a blanket on the way, and unlocked my phone. I spent the next forty minutes going through my Pinterest feed and got up when I couldn't silence my stomach any longer.

I turned the coffee machine on so that it could warm up the water and grabbed a mug from beside the sink. After hearing the machine chime, indicating the water was warm enough, I poured it into the glass over a peach flavored tea bag and squeezed a bit of honey into the mug, stirring the golden sunset liquid with a spoon. I would have made coffee but I figured that I'd be buying one (probably two) at the shop across the street when I leave the house to do whatever I had to do today.

I brought the warm liquid to my lips and breathed in the scent, instantly entering a sense of calmness. Glancing over at the shuffling bundle of sheets on the bed, I walked over the nightstand and grabbed my Polaroid camera. He yawned and stretched his long tan arms over his head just as I giggled and snapped a photo.

Placing the mug on the nightstand, I waited for the snapshot to print out of the pale blue camera. Wiggling it back and forth, I looked at the image and laughed. I showed it to Tae, then put it in the drawer of my nightstand, where a pile of previously taken photos lay, seconds to falling over due to the quantity of them.

After crawling to the middle of the bed and being tugged down by Taehyung, I fiddled with the hem of my, or his, t-shirt, unable to find the courage to look at him without there being a possibility of a tear falling because of my still fragile emotions. And unable to tell him the truth about why I had been up so early when I'm always the one who wakes up after he does.

-

After spending the next hour or so eating breakfast, Taehyung kissed me goodbye and reluctantly left to go back to his dorm. I checked my schedule to see that I had to be at the park in about an hour for a photo shoot of a few actors for a new drama that would be coming out soon.

After taking a shower, I got dressed in a pair of white ripped jeans with a black tank top and a denim jacket with pink roses embroidered on the sleeves and back. I snatched my bag and phone from the countertop of the kitchen and made my way to the park.

The photoshoot went by rather quickly as it soon began to get cloudy outside, the sky threatening to open at any moment. I packed up all of my equipment and spoke to the actors and their managers to determine what we would be doing. That was when I felt a small drop of water hit my shoulder and we decided to bid farewell. I started walking to my apartment when I felt my phone buzz. I opened it up to see a text from Taehyung.

Taehyung: Hi, Mi. We need to talk about something. Can I meet you at the cafe in about ten minutes?

Me: Okay. I just finished up the shoot I was doing. I'll be there in about fifteen minutes. Is everything alright?

Taehyung: Yeah. I'll see you then.

Me: Okay.

It seemed like whatever he needed to tell me wasn't something he wanted to do over text. I couldn't deny that I was worried but I reassured myself by the fact that there was nothing that I could think of that would be a bad reason he wanted to talk to me.
