"Plumpaw!" Troutstream yowled.

"What?" the young apprentice asked grumpily from her nest.

"Come on, we're going to go train with Quickfoot and Fastpaw!" Plumpaw groaned and pulled herself reluctantly out of her nest, shaking a piece of moss off her ear.

"Hurry up! Quickfoot and Fastpaw have already been there and back about 180,958 times!"

Plumpaw dragged her paws as she followed her mentor into the forest. "Where are we going?" she asked grudgingly.

Troutstream sighed. "Don't be so moody, this'll be fun! And we're going tree climbing by the river."

Plumpaw rolled her eyes. Why was scrambling up a piece of wood considered necessary? And why would she find it fun?

Fastpaw streaked through the forest and stopped next to her. "Come on, I've lapped you like 180,483 times! Hurry up!" Fastpaw darted off again, and Plumpaw shook her head, smiling slightly.

When they got to the river, they found Quickfoot and Fastpaw waited impatiently for them. "Wow, you guys are slow!" Quickfoot commented.

"Sorry," Troutstream sighed. "Someone didn't want to get out of her nest this morning."

"Well," Quickfoot began, changing topics, "now that you're here, let's start tree-climbing!"

"Plumpaw and I will be in, or on, the stream, and Quickfoot and Fastpaw will be tree climbing," Troutstream instructed.

The cats got in their positions, and Quickfoot started talking. "Okay, Fastpaw. I want you to run straight up the tree as fast as you can, then back down."

Fastpaw nodded and shot up the tree. His paws left a trail of fire behind him due to his speed, and the tree that he had just climbed caught on fire from top to bottom.

Troutstream and Plumpaw splashed water from the stream on the tree and put out the fire, whilst it started raining a white substance from the sky, and a distant yell of "Milk!" could be heard from Mintpaw.

This extremely late chapter was written by the not-so-amazing Annco. Sorry for the wait!
