"Why hello there."
I let my fierce gaze direct themselves onto both Kakashi and Obito.
"What brings you two here at this time of night?" I ask, making my voice spit venom. I wasn't really mad though, I just enjoy scaring people sometimes.
"W-we were just-"
"Spying on us?" Rin interjected.
Both of the boys visibly flinched at her sudden appearance. I didn't move, seeing that I had already scented her. She was here the whole time. Not exactly sure what she was doing, but I have an idea that she was waiting for a chance to make a dramatic entrance.
"RIN!?" Obito yelped in surprise.
"(Y/n), what do you think we should do with them?"
"They should be punished for unwelcomingly spying on two young girls such as ourselves." I answered, a devilish smirk tugging at my lips.
"Do you boys have anything to say for yourselves?"
"We-"
"It was all his idea, he talked me into this." Kakashi explained quickly yet somewhat calmly.
"KAKASHI!" Obito cried out angrily.
"Selling out a comrade Kakashi? That's just sad. I thought you were better than that."
"Yeah!" Obito agreed as he crossed is arms and nodded his head.
Seeing that the two boys had let there guard down, Rin and I had took that chance to hit both of them on their head with a lot of force.
"Hey!~" Kakashi growled.
"What was that for?~" Obito cried as he and Kakashi both held their now forming lumps on their heads.
"That was for wasting our time with your childish bickering." I answered sounding rather annoyed. "So what do you think we should do, Rin?"
"Good question." She said before looking thoughtful for a moment. "As punishment, I think they should do anything we say for one whole day." She said with a smirk.
"Sounds good to me I suppose." I agreed. "And to be fair, we'll both get our own days, our pick."
"Then it's settled. But for now, it's getting late. Would you two like stay here for the night?"
Obito and Kakashi looked as if they were contemplating it for a second. As Kakashi looked like he was about to refuse the offer, Obito hesitantly shook his head yes. Just like that, Kakashi shrugged and stood up, dusting himself off in the process.
"Then its settled, both of you are going to have to stay in my room since my parents are not aware of your presence. Don't cause any trouble now." said Rin.
We all went into the house through the window. Once were in, the boys started to take a look around.
"By the way, my parents would probably freak out if they find out you two are in here, so I would appreciate it if you guys were to be quiet. Once she saw both of the boys nod she gave a little smile.
"Alright. But the two of you are sleeping on that side of the room. Got it?" I declared as I pointed to a random spot of the room. Seeing them both nod again, I gave a content closed eyes smile of my own. "So now where were we?" I asked, directing my attention to Rin.
"The topic of your life in (Your continent)."
"Oh yeah. So because my older brother loved to make jokes about dental care, me and some of my friends would give him some toothbrushes and tooth paste for Christmas and say that it was from Santa clause." I laughed.
"Wait! (Y/n) has an older brother?" I heard Obito ask.
"Yeah. I have two brothers. I'm the middle child."
Kakashi's P.O.V.
So (Y/n) has two brothers? Wait? Why haven't I ever heard about them before? You would think that out of all the times that I've been to her house I would've seen them at least once. Then again, she did kind of just appear out nowhere on a random day.
I began to listen closely to the conversation , slowly learning new facts about (Y/n). It's weird to think that for as long as I've known her and we've been so close, I really didn't know too much about her. It makes me feel a bit lousy since she always seemed to know so much about me and how to make me smile. Like that one time on my birthday when she made me miso soup with eggplants. I never recall telling her when my birthday was nor gave indications that miso soup with eggplants is my favorite food. This girl really does surprise me sometimes.
Not too long afterwards, we started playing a game where she would guess facts about us.
"Me next!" Obito cheered.
"Obito, you will be on a team with one person of who you wish to be with and one person you are not to fond of." She answered.
Obito seemed to be both happy and scared at the same time.
"What about me? Who will I be on a team with?" Rin asked.
"A person who is known as the yellow flash."
"That's sounds so cool!"
"Kakashi next!"
I looked at (Y/n) curiously.
"I have quite a few for you sir." She began. "But I'll only say these ones for now."
Now I was interested.
"Kakashi, you will posses something very special. And in the future, you will have a very interesting team. A very special team."
I really want question why she was staring at my left eye for the first part, but I left it alone.
"Obito, you will be strongly involved in a very important event, and Rin will save the village from destruction." She continued.
"Care to elaborate?" I asked.
"Nope. It was vague to begin with." She answered.
Something about her guesses seemed to peek my interest, but there just guesses... Right? It's not like any of it is actually accurate.
A thought just crossed my mind and Rin seemed to ask it before I could.
"What about you (Y/n)-chan?"
"I'm seeing some dango in my future. That's for sure!" She laughed.
Everyone sweat dropped.
"Oh and Kakashi-kun, one more thing." She started. I look at her giving her my full attention. "Dattebayo!" She said cheerfully.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked confusedly.
"Your going to be hearing that a lot in your future, BELIEVE IT!" She began to giggle again as if it was the funniest thing in the world.
"That reminds me. (Y/n), there's a festival coming up." Rin said.
"Really?"
"Yeah, the Sakura viewing festival if I remember correctly. Would you like to spend it with me and Obito?"
"Sure, that sounds like fun." She agreed.
"Can I come to?" I asked, feeling a bit left out.
"Of course you can!" Rin answered.
"So (Y/n), what are you going to wear?" Rin asked.
"I'm not sure, I didn't really get a chance to buy anything for theses type of occasions."
"That's not good. We will have to go shopping for you soon then." Rin concluded.
"I suppose..." (Y/n) agreed. "What's the festival like anyways?"
Rin began to explain it as I began to become tired. Looking over to Obito, I saw that he also seemed a bit tired as well. After Rin finished explaining to (Y/n) about the festival, we had all agreed that it was best if we were to sleep now.
Obito and I went to our side of the room with some of the comforters and pillows that Rin had lent us. We all said our 'good nights' and dozed off into a peaceful slumber.
...
...
I was awoken from my sleep by a odd sound. Wearily glancing around the room, I spotted Obito sneaking his way over to the girls side of the room. I was going to stop him when a yellow glint caught my attention. Tracing it back over to where I saw it, I could make out the outline of a female. It seemed to resemble the pj's that (Y/n) was wearing.
God her pajamas look cute on her. Wait! There are those thoughts again.
The figure began to move towards Obito as he continued to crawl towards the girl side, completely unaware of its presence. Seeing that the mysterious person didn't seem to much of a threat, I only sat and watch.
It didn't take long for it to make it's way to Obito. As it did so, it temporarily stepped into the moon light, allowing me to confirm that it was indeed (Y/n). Inwardly sighing, I went back to my resting position and attempted to sleep. The last thing I heard was the sound of a body hitting the floor, a groan, and some shuffling.
Time skip
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
The warm rays of sunlight filtered into the room, softly landing upon my eyes. It was now morning and a felt new and refreshed from the nights sleep. Looking around the room, I saw that everyone was still sleeping peacefully and Obito was still exactly how I left him.
Rolled into a blanket burrito and secured with some of my trusty tape. I grinned at my work as I cuddled further into my warm blanket. Stretching like a cat, I felt something twitch underneath my hat and shirt.
My guesses was correct. Just as I had predicted, my ears and tail had made itself known as I slept. Thankfully though, I had took the precaution of wearing this outfit to hide them. I exhaled silently as I put them away and crawled over to the bathroom. After doing my mourning routine, I walked back into the room fully dressed for the day and grabbed a pen from my bag.
Making my way over to Obito, I uncapped the pen and began to think of possible things I could scribble on his face. I had to mentally stop myself from drawing Tobi related stuff on him. Oh how would've love to do that.
Getting serious for a moment I decided to stick to the simple stuff. Simple stuff including drawing a mustache, goatee, the kanji for idiot on the left side of his forehead (The same spot that Gaara has the kanji for love on), and some Kabuto looking glasses. Once I was done, I pulled out my phone and took a quick picture before returning to my previous spot and pulling out a little book of 'English(or your language) to kanji/ katakana's for dummies'.
The first one to wake up was Kakashi. He seemed to be in a haze. It was kind of... Cute.
Yeah, that's right. I said it! I find it cute!
Excuse me. Mini pride moment... Anyways.
He looked around the exhaustively before his eyes landed on me. As our gazes met and we stared at each other for what felt like an hour. Breaking the trans, I shift a bit and look back at my book.
"Good morning." I greeted without looking at him as I tried to calm the blush that had made itself a home on my cheeks.
"Good morning." He greeted back. He began to stretch before eyeing my book carefully.
As if reading his mind, I marked my book and showed him the cover. He simply nodded his head before getting up and going to the bathroom to freshen up.
A minute after he left, Rin had woken up. We had both greeted each other as she stretched before being interrupted by the opening and closing of the bathroom door.
"Good morning, Kakashi-kun." Rin said warmly, smiling as a small blush had brushed over her cheeks as well.
Knowing that Rin has special emotions for Kakashi too, her recent actions made me feel some sort of way. It was nothing big though so I just brushed it aside.
As we all began to immerse ourselves into a small conversation, Obito woke up.
I giggled as he attempted to move but failed ultimately. He looked a bit like an inch worm in his own weird way. I could hear Rin giggle too as she watched him squirm, around trying to break himself free.
"Need help?" I teased as I stifled a laugh.
"No. I can get out on my own." He answered stubbornly as he began to wiggle free from the blankets and pillows that traps him.
It was almost unbearable to watch, and the scribbles on his face was not helping. Before I could help him regardless of what he would say, Rin jumped into action.
"Thanks..." He muttered.
"How did you get yourself into this mess?" Rin asked him. I could tell that she too was trying to stop giggles from escaping her throat.
"I-um..." He started, but then seemed to get scared when he remembered.
"The world may never know." I finished.
Kakashi just stared at him with what would appear to be a blank expression.
"What are you staring at?!" He exclaimed.
"Hush Obito, don't forget that Rin's parents are still here." I warned.
"Sorry." He apologized, voice a just above a whisper.
"Idiot." Kakashi spoke
"What did you call me!?"
"That's what it says on your face."
Obito looked like he was about ready to fight him when he noticed that everyone was staring.
"What?" He asked.
I pointed to the bathroom door before speaking. "How bout you take a look yourself."
Getting up, he walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. Just a moment we heard him make what sounded like a hushed screaming noise before the sound of the sink being turned on hit our ears. We all laughed as we could hear him trying to vigorously scrub the ink off of his face.
When he had finished and came out, he looked like he was about to hit somebody. Before he could do anything, I nudged Rin with my elbow to remind her of the dare. Getting the message, she got up and walked up to Obito before stopping and engulfing him in a warm hug. I could see Obito's cheeks begin to flare up as he looked a bit startled and happy at the same time.
"Good morning, Obito-kun!" Rin cheered happily.
The pink hues on Obito's cheeks became a deep shade of red before he could return the gesture. "G-good m-m-morning, Rin-s-san."
"I ship it." I whispered before giggling. It appears that they had heard me though since they both pulled away from the hug and blushed, some harder than others.
"Awe~ why'd you stop?" I teased. Before anyone could answer, I heard footsteps heading in our direction. "Quick, guys. It's Rin's parents." I whispered.
They nodded in response before making a run for the window and leaving through there. Rin closed the window after them as a knock sounded at her door.
Suddenly, the door opened revealing...
