Jaehyun closed the folder and slide it back to Taeyong. He kept a straight but stern expression. He stared at Taeyong, trying to keep himself calm. Taeyong looked away.

"I won't sign those."

Taeyong clenched his jaw, "I want a divorce."

"But I don't."

"Look, you're the one who's at fault here. Don't you have any reasons to let me go? Don't you pity me?" Taeyong uttered.

Jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows, "In fact, I don't. I don't want to. I know I can make things right again--"

"You're being too full of yourself. You ruined everything for us. I don't think you can still make me trust you. You don't want me anymore, right? You cheated because I wasn't enough. You broke me, Jaehyun," Taeyong said, feeling the tears pooling on his eyes.

"And you think I'm not?"

Jaehyun stood and held an upset expression. Taeyong sighed and swallowed the saliva blocking his throat.

"You think neglecting me as your husband didn't break me? You think the things I did to you didn't break me? You think...divorcing with me isn't breaking me?" Jaehyun bit back to breakdown infront of the boy, "I know damn well that you're the victim here. But I want you to give me another chance to make things right for us."

Taeyong clenched his fists, "I can't--"

Suddenly, the man walked around the table and stood infront of the boy. Taeyong stood back but his hands were held by the pair that was too familiar for him. Jaehyun rubbed his thumbs over the knuckles.

"Please...Two months. Just give me two months to make things right. If you still want to separate with me after two months, I'll sign those papers," Jaehyun's voice was shaking and it was something Taeyong hasn't seen before. Slowly, the man knelt down as if he was begging.

Taeyong felt his heart broke at the sight. Jaehyun looked down and kissed his palms. The boy kept his tears in and let out a heavy sigh.

"I still want you back, Yong. I don't want to let you go..."

"S-Stand up, Jaehyun..." Taeyong uttered softly, trying to pull the man up.

Jaehyun shook his head, "I promise...I'll sign those papers if I still can't bring you back to me. Give me a chance, Taeyong."

The boy looked away. He immediately snatched his hands away from the man and ran out of the room. He couldn't keep himself composed just feeling the pressure building up inside of him. Jungwoo saw him but instead of asking Taeyong, he just let the boy lock himself inside the bathroom to let everything out.

On the other hand, Jaehyun slowly stood and wiped the tears that escaped his eyes. He cursed and groaned. He clenched his fist and slammed it against his table. He grabbed the cup and threw it against the white wall. He didn't care about the hot coffee burning his skin and dripping down the wall with shards on the floor. The man just fell and cried.

Taeyong gave himself some time to calm down. He can't be like this inside work. He walked out of the room as soon as he composed himself. He saw Jungwoo by his desk, working on some proposals.

"I'm sorry...I'll work on the rest--"

"It's finished, hyung. I want you to rest," Jungwoo said.

Taeyong sat and sighed, "I can't rest. I need to make myself busy..." he said before he tried proofreading and looked at the meetings needed to be prepared in his laptop.

"Both of you really got it bad. Mr. Jung called out the medic a while ago."

The boy's eyes widened and looked at his assistant, "What? Why...?"

"His hand got burned, but it's fine. Well, I hope he is," Jungwoo said as he was printing the papers already.

Taeyong somehow got worried. He wanted to look at the burn, but that shows he's too weak for Jaehyun. He didn't want to give false hope. He hasn't even given him an answer. He doesn't know how and what. He can't just decide without thinking.

"If you want...I can check on him for you. I'll be submitting this to him anyway," Jungwoo asked.

Taeyong shook his head and thought he should just go home to think about things, "N-No...It's fine. Just tell him that I have to cut my shift. My head hurts."

The boy nodded, "Alright. See you tomorrow then, hyung."

Taeyong stood and grabbed his bag before he walked into the elevator. He pressed to the lobby until he walked out when he arrived. He swiped his card before he ran out of the company. He got himself a taxi and rode back to Johnny's house.

He grabbed his phone and called Ten.

"Hey, Tae. How was it?"

Taeyong kept himself silence but the tears come running down his face again. He sniffled and covered his mouth. He couldn't talk. He didn't want to, it'll break him. Ten knew what happened.

"There's a tub of ice cream here when you get back, okay? We'll have a talk later."

Taeyong ended the call and started deciding he needs to stop crying. He can't just stay weak. Just seeing Jaehyun reminded himself that he wasn't enough. He got cheated by the man he least suspected.

But everything was in the past. He needs to leave it.

When he arrived at the house, he didn't bother to change his clothing and ate the tub of ice cream Ten gave to him. River got a cone of it before he goes into the backyard to eat it. Ten left him for a while until Taeyong's fine to talk everything out.

It became hours until Taeyong called Ten. The boy sat beside him and had all ears on Taeyong.

"He begged...He begged to me to give him two months to make everything right. He cried and knelt infront of me. It hurts to see him like that...I don't know what to do, Ten...Should I give him a chance? He still wants me back...I do, too...But it still hurts. It's been a fucking week and I can't move on! I want to forget about everything!" Taeyong cried, "What if I gave him a chance and cheated on me again? I can't afford to break myself for the second time...I'm afraid to break again for the same man..."

"He wouldn't cry and beg if he planned on hurting you again."

Taeyong sniffled and slowly looked at Ten who was rubbing his back. Ten showed a small smile to somehow comfort his friend.

"A man wouldn't cry if something doesn't mean anything. They can be tough and very rare to see them cry. Jaehyun, for sure, will risk everything to bring you back to him. But I'm not telling you to give him a chance."

The boy stared and stayed silent to listen to Ten.

"Think about everything before you take risks. Well, falling in love means taking every risk to make the relationship work, doesn't it?"
