Taeyong has been in the room for days. He couldn't bring himself to go out but he feels like he wanted to this morning. He's feeling a bit sluggish and maybe he just needs to air.

He walked out of his room and down the stairs. He wasn't used to seeing things that aren't his. He always thought about coming back in the house but in the back of his mind, he needs to give them some space.

"Oh, I was about to bring you your breakfast," Ten said as soon as he saw Taeyong by the entrance, "Since you're already here, let's eat breakfast together."

Taeyong nodded with a small smile. Johnny and River came down. All of them sat down and continued to eat their breakfast. The boy looked at the family beside him and somehow, Taeyong missed having some breakfast with Jaehyun.

Jaehyun would always talk to him, even though he's infront of his laptop. He never failed to keep Taeyong in company. It just hurts him that maybe they took everything for granted. Or maybe Taeyong was the only one who took everything for granted.

"Hey, spacing out again?" Johnny asked to snap Taeyong out.

Taeyong chuckled, "Yeah...just spacing out."

"Why don't you come with me? I'll be walking River to school," Ten asked.

"Sure...I was about to ask you if I could come with you."

After breakfast, all of them prepared for work and school. Taeyong wore something casual. A simple shirt and black pants would do. This was even the first time after years that he could wear casual clothing outside.

He goes out of his bedroom and met Johnny by the living room while he was with River. The boy comes down to meet his nephew who was playing with car and haven't wore his shirt for school.

"River, come here," Taeyong uttered as he grabbed the shirt by the couch.

The kid walked up to Taeyong, still has his toy car by his hand. He wore the tiny shirt on River and buttoned it up. Taeyong even fixed the boy's messy wet hair by a comb. He also let River wore his socks and school shoes.

"You should get your little one soon. I want a nephew," Johnny said while he's infront of the mirror fixing his dress shirt.

Taeyong sighed and looked upset, "I don't want to talk about it, hyung."

They fell in silence. Taeyong remembered how much Jaehyun would love to have a baby by now. Maybe it's his fault why they fought. He was a bit too laid back just because they are married. Maybe that's why Jaehyun decided to cheat. He suddenly felt so guilty.

"Taeyong?"

Taeyong snapped out and looked at Ten who was already in casual and has River's backpack.

"Let's go?" Ten asked.

Taeyong nodded before he stood and carried River out of the house. They locked the door behind them before he walked up to where Ten is.

"Bye, see you later," Ten said to Johnny before he pecked the man's lips.

"See you later. Bye, kiddo, be good in school, okay?" Johnny said to River.

River nodded, "I'll come home with hundreds of stars!"

Johnny laughed and rubbed his son's head, "That won't fit on your body but okay. See you later, Tae."

Taeyong nodded, "Have a safe drive."

The man stepped into his car before he drove away. Ten and Taeyong walked along the sidewalk.

"We'll be staying at school for four hours, by the way," Ten said.

Taeyong nodded, "It's fine. I think I need to have some air anyway."

"You aren't used to this kind of thing, huh?"

"What do you mean?"

Ten shrugged, "You are always busy and always have work to do, and now you're like in a vacation."

"...Yeah. It's kinda a new feeling to always be in bed and all you could do was to sleep."

"You can work tomorrow. It's been a week, so I guess you're somehow fine now?" Ten asked.

Taeyong shrugged, "I think I am. I'm just not sure if I can face him."

Both of them walked into the gate when they arrived. There were children everywhere and some of their guardians looking after them. Taeyong puts River down and has hand around the small boy's.

They walked to where River's classroom is. Ten gave the bag to his son and walked him to River's seat. As soon as River's was fine, Ten and Taeyong walked out of the classroom. They took a seat on an empty bench.

"You know what, you guys just need a bit of explanation," Ten said.

Taeyong sighed, "I feel like I can't. I can't hear him out yet. I don't even know what to say."

"Then I'm sure he'll be waiting."

Johnny did tell him that Jaehyun's waiting. Jaehyun would always be the one adjusting. He never forced Taeyong on anything. He would always go with what Taeyong wants. All he did this week was to overthink and sulk, and he never had spent a week like that.

"You feel suffocated? Tired? Hurt? Then do what you feel like doing. It's not healthy for the both of you. Try thinking about it, okay? Don't force yourself to swallow this mess 'cuz I know it's hard to even live with it."

Ten just wrapped his arm around Taeyong's shoulder and rubbed his arm.

"Everything will be alright."
