It was Monday, a day after the full moon. Madison had only been sleeping for about a hour since she was out the whole night following. That was when her alarm clock rang. She had blacked out on the bed exhausted from the night before. She was really tired when the clock began ringing. She was in a haze when she took her hands over to stop the clock on her desk next to her bed. She sat up fast in her bed, suddenly, when she vaguely remembered last night. It was like a dream the memory and Madison believed it was. Wow, what a crazy dream I had, she thought to her self. By her side Madison's usual water bottle stood. But in it the women from the cabin in the woods, had put in some of that special tea to make Madison drink it instead for the water that usually stood there. Madison took a sip out her water bottle. She thought it tasted a little weird, but didn't give much thought and it did taste really good. She drank up the whole bottle of tea, since she was also really thirsty. And that was just enough of the tea to start the process, to start working, so that Madison could remember all within a month. She went to school and met her friends as usual this day. During the day she could already remember more and more. At first she thought the dream became more and more real. By the end of the last class, she started remembering being in the Kirstens house and her asking Madison to return the next day. The dream didn't quite seem like a dream any more by that point. The friends texted each other asking if they were gonna hang out after school. Madison was puzzled by her memory, she decided she would go and search to see if the old lady really was there, so she made up an excuse to not meet with her friends that day. It was on the top of her mind, she wrote on a text to the four other girls that she were going to see Daniel after school. The four other girls agreed to see each other at Stefanis house without Madison. When the class ended, Madison took a buss to her home. Stefani, Scarlett, Leona and Alexandra met at Stefani's house, in each their cars. They parked and made it inside. They were gonna study math together to day as well because they really needed to practice, but they needed the help of Madison that was the best at math out of the five girls and recently the whole class if not the whole school. The 4 girls wondered what Daniel and Madison was doing. They decided they would go over to Madison after some time, trying to solve the math questions on their own, to see if they could get Madison over to help them with their math, before the night ended. It had been about two hours and the clock was turning to around six in the evening. They drove in Stefani's car together, over to Madison's house, They turned off the car and went up to the white front door on the farmhouse. They knocked on the door. Madison's mother opened the door. Hi, I thought she was with you girls, the mother said, confused seeing them all without Madison. The girls smirked at each other, thinking she was out with Daniel. They were thinking about making up an excuse for Madison, since they knew that Madison's parents easily got concerned whenever she was out alone, even into college age. Eh, she is at my place, we just came by to collect a math book. Stefani replied to  Madison's mother. All four of you? the mother asked. Eh yes, Alexandra continues. Oh ok, the mother answered. I will go and get the book, Madison's mother continued looking a bit puzzled. She goes in and gets Madisons mathbook. She hands the book over to them. Remember to tell Madison to be home by ten pm the mother told them. "Yes", the girls said assuring Madison's mother.  The four friends, hurried to Stefanies car, and got in. Well now we need to return her math book to her tomorrow, Leona said. I wonder where they are at, Scarlett continued looking into the air. Well, I just got an idea, we can check on the Tapchat map, Leona said exited. Yes! She's always on, Stefani continued. Leona got up her phone, to check Madison's location. That's weird, its says that she is somewhere out in the woods, Leona said. The others got up their phones and could see the same thing. I wonder what they are doing out in the woods so late?, Alexandra asked the other girls. 

Before this earlier this day, Madison had taken the buss home and gone directly out into the woods to see if she could find the old lady from her memory, she walked by her vaguely memory to the cabin in the woods. She was startled when she actually found the cabin, realizing now that it was no dream at all.  She was nervous when she knocked on the frontdoor. The old women named Kirsten opened the door. "Good, I see you drank the rest of the tea I gave you and remembered to come and see me again today", the woman said to Madison." Eh, yes" Madison replied. She now could also remember vaguely drinking the tea that the women had given her last night before in the cabin. More and more memories emerged just as they were standing there. "Well come in", Kirsten said to Madison. Madison entered the cabin, looking around curiously when she entered. "Well I suppose the memories are pretty vague for you know, so let me tell you what you are and why I told you to come and see me again", Kirsten Explained to Madison as she sat down on the cough in front of the fireplace in the little cabin. "Why don't you come and sit down next to me, it's gonna take some time explaining this", Kirsten said to Madison looking up at her from the cough. Madison, looks around the cabin, the little kitchen joining the living space with the cough and the fireplace, she could remember she had been here. She went over to the cough and set down next to Kirsten. There was a fire in the fireplace.

"Well", said the old woman Kirsten, while looking at Madison, "I might as well begin with the facts right away", "You have recently been turned into a werewolf, you are of a genetic linage which has a rare DNA mutation which makes it possible for you to turn into a werewolf even though you are of the female sex, and werewolfs are male".  "Therefor, since you have the mutation making it possible, I have been waiting here, watching secretly over you if that would occur. And it has". "There has also been a women in my family that has been a werewolf about a thousand years ago". "And there is usually a women werewolf every thousand year". "My family has been guardians, watching over those that has been turned, for centuries". "The latest of those guardians, was my father, that died of old age, about 20 years ago". "I took over as a guardian after that"."We have records of the lingoes containing the DNA mutations, and that led me to you" "We also have stored a spell which can turn a werewolf back, well not completely but convert them to a vampire instead". "So that the curse of the women werewolf passes you by". "You see the women werewolfs has to also be valkyries meaning they have to collect the dead". The women Explained. "So it's your choice wether you would like to be a werewolf or a vampire". Madison was shocked over the whole situation, what the women had explained so outright and fast was so extreme. "Well", wondered Madison, and she asked, "isn't there a way of making me just turn human again"? Madison asked. The women looked into the fire and paused some time before explaining further, "You see, for you to turn werewolf", the women paused again before continuing. "Yes?" Madison said, "continue please".  "Well", Kirsten continued, "you basically have to die first, before you can turn into a werewolf by a bit from another werewolf, meaning that sometime you would have had to die", Kirsten explained. Madison was even more shocked, but by now the things that she already had been explained were so unreal to her that anything could be possible by this point. "But I haven't died!" Madison answered eagerly. Then all of a sudden, a memory started flashing in her mind, "my dream, I was at a castle, I fell, I must have died and been bitten after the fall?". Madison said quietly turning over looking at Kirsten. "Well that was probably not a dream", Kirsten told her. "And the thing about conditions that are caused after death, well they most often not reversible", since the condition it self is what keeping you from dying, reversing such a condition takes powers I know not of". Madison was really unsure at this point, sad over the fact that she has been turned into a werewolf but mostly shocked that this had happened to her. "What does it really mean to be a valkyrie?" Madison asked. "Well, it might be a little bit more than actually just collecting the dead, you will also sometimes have to provoke the death itself, when it's their time of the ones that needs to be collected, the calling will tell you when". Madison thought over it, and said. "I guess it's better collecting people to pass over when it's their time, than to kill for a living, as a vampire would do. That means I will have to stay this way? and will I turn every full moon?" She asked. Kirsten answered, "oh no, you will learn to control it with time and turn rarely, only special moon events will turn you certainly once you've learned to control it". Well Madison said, I guess I will have to remain this way then". The women looked up at Madison, She smiled almost as if she was glad that Madison had decided to stay a werewolf and she said, "there are always a meaning with the things that happen to us, good or bad". Madison was about to start crying when it suddenly knocked on the door. I am not expecting visitors Kirsten said. They both just sat there when it knocked again. Kirsten stood up and went over to the door. She opend the door. There the four friends stood. 

They were all startled when they saw Madison inside on the couch. "Hello bestie", Alexandra said. "What's happening?" Madison couldn't believe that her friends had found her. Then she remembered that she had, had on her location on her Tapchat-map and understood that her friends had found her with that. "I am guessing you are Madison's friends?" Kirsten asked. "Yes" the four girls standing in the door way replied. "Well come in", Kirsten said politely. The friends went into the cabin and sat down also on the couch. Madison couldn't hold back the tears any longer and some water came from her eyes. The friends looked at Madison and Leona quickly asked her what was wrong. Can I tell them, Madison asked Kirsten as she looked up at her standing by the couch. "Yes", Kirsten said, "But remember, tell only those who you trust". "Well, I have been turned", Madison told them while drying her tears. "Turned?" Alexandra asked.

You see in the dimension Altina, werewolfs were not really that uncommon, most people had heard of them at some point, the same with witches and vampires. Still it was considered more myth than facts for most people.  

"Yes I have been turned into a werewolf", Madison explained. The girls didn't believe it at first and they wanted to laugh. Come on what has happened, "is it something with Daniel?" Stefani Asked Madison. "No", Madison said. "I died, I fell of the old fortress tower and some werewolf  came and bit me and I was turned into a werewolf". "But werewolfs are only men!". Leona said, and besides they don't exists". "I have a gene variant which makes it possible for me to turn", Madison said. The girls were shocked and looked at each others like question marks. "Yes it's true", kirsten said. "I know because I and my family have been guardians for thousands of years, we also had a women werewolf in my family." ." I am also a valkyrie", Madison said. "What does that mean"? Stefani asked. "I have to basically lead people from death over to the other side". Madison explained. In shock Leona covered her mouth with her hand.  Madison at that point bursted into full on tears. The girls looked at each other before they all hugged her together. "Don't worry, it will be fine", Alexandra comforted Madison, "there must be a cure". Scarlet whispered. "Yes, there are" Madison hulked, in their arms, "but then I would have to turn into a vampire instead". "At least as a werewolf I will learn to control it by some time, and will not live of human blood", After hugging for some time, the hug ended and Madison Looked at her best friends and said, "I have decided to stay a werewolf, I don't want to drink blood for the rest of my life". Kirsten stood watching, And she looked concerned as she looked over at Madison, Dear Werewolf can live thousands of years, their timespan is much longer that of a human. Madison just in shock looked over at her friends and Kirsten, Now this? She thought to her self, "let that be the last shocking news I hear please" Madison said while looking up at Kirsten. Kirsten went over to her kitchen and into a drawer, she found a thick book, from it she took out a loose page. She said,  "I will give you the spell for turning you into a vampire just incase you change your mind". After some time of more hugging between the girls and some crying from them all, the girls comforted Madison and said it will be fine and that they were taking her home now. They took with them the spell from the old lady. The four friends that had entered the place thanked the lady before they drove Madison home to her house. They gave Madison her math book, and explained why they had it. They agreed that they would talk more about Madison being a werewolf the next day after school. Madison also had the spell for turning into a vampire with her. It was late so she went inside and went directly to bed. She lied for some time awake sad about the situation, she thought about what Kirsten had said, "everything happens for a reason, good or bad". She then fell asleep.
