Marcel's POV

Hayley and I stayed in the sand near the water, away from everyone so we could talk about what happened.

"I know you are a mother and that your life hasn't been exactly easy but I would like to see what is this..." I said.

"I can't be in a relationship if I don't know what is this for the other person. What is this for you, Marcel?" She asked.

"I really like you and before I even was sure about what were your feelings about me, I talked with Elijah"

"You talked with Elijah?!" She asked, cutting me off.

"Yes. I know you two had a past together and that your relationship was very serious so I wanted to make sure that I was not getting in the middle. He said that he had no more feelings like that for you and that he wanted you to be happy, no matter who would you be with..."

"Oh..." Hayley said.

"What? Were you expecting him to have another reaction? Did you wanted him to react differently?" I asked now a bit upset but trying not to show it.

"What? No! I just wasn't expecting you asking him if he was okay with us being together."

"Is really just that?" I asked kinda suspicious.

"Of course. I might have been in love with Elijah but that was a long time ago and now I only see him as the uncle of my daughter." Hayley said, making me smile.

Stefan's POV

Rebekah and I eventually went to the pool that there was in the house to be a little more private and now she was reading a magazine.

"Bekah, what do you say about going to the pool. The water is good." I said because I was the only one who was in the water.

"Maybe later."

"What are you reading anyways?" I asked getting out of the water and when I took the magazine she asked me to have it back.

"Came on, Stefan!" She said, making me start running from her while she tried to catch me.

"5 ways to please a man...?" I read in disbelief. "Came on, Beks! You don't need that. You know that... right?"

"I was just curious."

"Alright, but full disclosure: You know better than anyone else how to please a man and how to make him go crazy for you."

"Oh, I do?" She asked with a smile, wrapping her arms around me.

"Yes, you do..." I whispered and when we were about to kiss, I lost balance and we ended up falling into the pool, we laughed at that and she started to splash me then she swam away from me.

Once I caught Rebekah, I pulled her closer to me and felt her arms wrapping around me.

"You have been driving me crazy ever since this vacation started..." I whispered and she kissed me passionately. "I'm pretty sure you'll be the death of me but I don't care."

"You're such a dork... you're lucky I like you." Rebekah teased.

"Yes, I am." I said with a smile and kissed her passionately.

Caroline's POV

Bonnie and I were again in the water at the beach and this time Damon and Klaus appeared, so Damon had the idea of having a fight, making me be on Klaus's shoulders and Bonnie on his. Bonnie and I tried to make the other drop but quickly we both fall, although it was me who won.

"We won!" I yelled in glory and quickly hugged Klaus, happy with the achievement, just then remembering that I couldn't be so close with Klaus because we were no longer together.

"You were amazing, love!" Klaus whispered when we broke the hug and I just smiled to him while he smirked, showing his adorable dimples.

"Oh, please... It was just luck." Damon said. "And Bonnie was also amazing."

I noticed Damon wrapping his arms around Bonnie and she blushing so I grabbed Klaus's hand so we could give them some space.

"Wanting a moment alone with me? I feel so honored, Love."

"You really have a giant ego." I said rolling my eyes but he only smirked at me. "I made you come here because I think something might happen between Bonnie and Damon..."

"Really? So the moral witch is falling for the vampire who has dodgy morals."

"Well, just because he has dodgy morals doesn't make someone with values stop falling for them. We can't have a saying in who we like and who we don't."

"Are you saying that she still likes him... even with all the mistakes he did?" Klaus asked and we were clearly no longer talking about Bonnie and Damon.

"I think she will always like him. She likes him to the point that it hurts."

"Then why not just be together? They clearly like each other..."

"Because there's things besides liking each other. A relationship needs more than that." I said and left the water, not able to look back at Klaus.
