The dim reality of death slept and woke up with people of Mu Empire sending chilling cold into the spines of SE, East and transcending boundaries of Okuro and beyond. The benumbed populace never slept and didn't intend to go till their lands in such a disarrayed and moral disarmed state. Elders turned pages of Makers to contextualize the occurrence but such apocalypse never occurred in their epoch. They beheld prophecies but that was a manifestation shocker they never intended at such a time when the community was upbeat for a beckoning distant justice. Their bewilderment was deep and many concluded that it was karma.

The body of Jane was taken to the mortuary. The motive behind the killing was under investigation meanwhile the officer Nabil incharge of Square's wife under WPA arrangement had written a statement alleging he was struck out of the program without any explanation.

Madam Mbalu had gotten the leads from Randa who had gathered detailed information about Jane's body that had been taken to the mortuary.

Maxima went to bed the other day fuming for failing to link with, and since the incident occured none had bothered to call him.

Adada , Olwete and Smoke had just woken up and they had no idea they hit a wrong target. Their intention was to keep off any information for the whole day.

Square had been transfered on security reasons to unknown place . He was to attend court proceedings from the same place. The wife whisked away at dawn from Mbaka's house to a place in Okuro. Their son Max would study at GKF Complex according to new arrangements between WPA and officers Travis and Balance.

Chunye woke normally in the company of Otulo. Unlike other days ,he was picked midway his conversation with Otulo and marched to Social Work where he was advised he would work.

Otulo: How're you bro?

Otulo: Something could be wrong. What do you think?

Chunye: Yes. This is the day for things to be wrong. Isn't that what he wanted?

Otulo: Whom do you think advised him to betray the boss?

Chunye: Definitely she couldn't escape. That would have been a chicken task. Those are confirmation faces. My wife will be visiting today she will give us finer details.

Chunye was handcuffed immediately and escorted to the police vehicle. The driver ignited the engine immediately and sped off to mortuary, a twenty minutes drive for that matter. There was still silence in the vehicle and they entered into the mortuary facility.

They alighted and walked to the eatery within the hospital facility. As they were eating, Madam officer Letty broke the news. Pastata and Schwa formed a support system as Chunye shocked with tears.

Letty: Mr. Chunye, as you take your meal, you're aware our work involves a lot of risk.

Chunye: I know Madam officer Letty . Risk is another name for the force.

At the pinhole, neighbouring Escobar's office there emergency meeting convened by Escobar , attended by Nabil and Chief Mulo.

Escobar: Didn't I warn you Chief about using raw force in operation?

Mulo: I take the blame sir but you know the truth: That force was assembled while I'm here.

Escobar: Excuses. Always excuses.

Mulo: I'm sorry officer Escobar.

Escobar:And you where were you, don't tell me about that statement?

Nabil: I was there at the scene boss despite. I saw light and bikes, before I verified she was down. It was unfortunate.

Escobar: I waited for your report, your phone went off and to surface here this morning?

Nabil: I had to do that Boss to beat them in their game Boss. You understand?

The lady incharge looked at him and ran back to the eatery as if he saw a ghost but Shi assured her he is her dad and that they should stick to the plan. Ali followed her in the eatery in that melee Shi disappeared and entered into the children's Ward and dressed herself like a patient before leaving through the backdoor. The cleaner saw her but she signaled her to be silent. Shi walked through some heaps of hospital wastes before reaching the mortuary. Shi reached out one of the mortuary attendant called Charo and requested for a phone and Placed a call to officer Travis.

Shi: Hello Officer Madam Travis.

Travis: Hello, who is calling?

Shi: I'm Shi daughter of Ali Moh Restaurants, you remember me?

Travis: Yes, I can't forget you, you said you want to be KDF officer. How many I help you dear?

Shi: There's problem at the mortuary facility. I suspect some of your officers are after something bad. Come immediately!

Travis: Seriously? We're coming immediately.

Travis had waiting for information invain. She passed through the Commissioner's office where she picked her colleague, officer Balance.

Inside the facility, Charo followed Chunye as he went to view the body of his wife. Before he could realize it, Chunye collapsed lifeless. Shi entered chasing behind Charo with his phone in her hand.

They called Schwa who inturn called Escobar who wired the senior pathologist Yien who examined and forwarded the hasty report confirming Chunye passed out of heart attack caused by shocking news of his wife's death the way Escobar wanted.

Escobar restrained himself from putting a call across to break the news instead he call Publilus, who made bulletin for that late mid morning. Publilus also posted the news to his social media outlets.

According to Publilus, 'Mu Empire lost an icon who would have made greater contribution in security sector if he pursued career ' read his article in parts. Publilus asserted that the death of the two was a big blow to the security apparatus. He added that Chunye was his security by stature citing his contribution in containing bandits from the neighbouring country that kept raiding the east and South East before Chunye laid a broader plan that was adopted by the security apparatus.

In the mortuary facility the police vehicle arrived and carried the lifeless body of Chunye after Pastata, Schwa and Letty had left. Travis and Balance spend out of vicinity but before they could make several steps they saw Cynthia carrying Panther on her back as they followed some information in their smartphones. They moved closer hidding behind some bushes. They discovered the two were following the news of the dead bodyguard and his wife.

Cynthia: How could two people just die like that?

Panther: I should be asking you. Didn't you do criminology and criminal justice?

Back at Chief Bula's home, Adada, Olwete and Smoke have been summoned. They've taken the news of the chunye's demise with a lot of sadness.
