I, Davina Grey Sinclair, was behind Kol Anderson on his bike. Is this the end of the world?

I was glad that I had worn high-waisted leggings and a crop top. The wind felt amazing at first but Kol started gaining speed. I wrapped my hands around his waist and held him tightly. His abs were rock hard. It felt good under his t-shirt but I was also kinda jealous. 

The ride was short and he stopped over a cliff. I quickly got down and pulled out my phone to see messages from my brothers. I texted Jaxon the scenario and he said that he will cover up but talk later and he needed all details. 

I turned around to see Kol sitting at the edge with his legs dangling below. 
I walked over to him and gave him a sheepish smile. 
"Hey there. Didn't expect to see you there!"
"Shut up. This place is nice. Don't ruin it."
I sat down leaving some space between us. He came closer. His cologne filled up my nostrils and I had never smelt anything so intoxicating. I sighed and looked over. 

The view was amazing. The sun was setting over the horizon and the sky was all orange and yellow. It looked beautiful. 
"So, how do you handle four brothers? I mean like have you ever had a boyfriend? Went to parties? Got detention?"
"No and no. But I have had detention. I have fun. I'm not all closed up and stuff."
"Overprotective brothers. I would do the same if I had a sister as beautiful, smart, and athletic as you."
"I'm flattered," I said sarcastically. "But you are in big trouble if any one of them finds out."
"You really mess with me, Davina. Don't do it."
"You are already on their bad side."
"It's been three days."
"You were from the first day. Flynn reported on you. Meeting near the lockers, arriving late to lunch, together. Volleyball. You didn't watch your mouth."
"Oh, crap."
"And Flynn will hate you even more once he finds out that I voted for you over him for lacrosse captain."
"Wait, really?"
"Shit, I wasn't meant to say it. Please don't tell anyone. But you'll be captain by Friday."
"Thanks. You chose me over your brother."
"For the school team. Don't flatter yourself."
"We'll see princess, you chose me today as well. You are here with me."
"You gave me no choice." 
"I didn't want you to run away. There's something about you that drags me in. No matter how much I hate it, I really like it."

I sat there in silence and the wind picked up. I was breezy and a bit cold. Unconsciously, I shifted closer to him and laid my head on his shoulder. He didn't hesitate to wrap his arm around me. He was quite strong, I have to admit. 
I thought of how to respond to him, but I didn't want to ruin the mood. 

"You-"
"You-" 
We both said at once. I turned my face to see that he was already staring at me. I looked deep into his eyes and it somehow comforted me. They were warm and I could stare into them all day. 
"You go first." He said. 
I tore my gaze from his eyes and looked over. 
"I don't know what just happened. But I could just stare at you all day long and just be with you. I don't know why but I want to. The thing you said about something dragging you in. It happens to me too. It's strange. Are you a werewolf or something and am I your mate?" I chuckled slightly at the last part. 
"I wish I were Davina. But I'm not. So you are stuck with a human as your mate." 
"Eh... This human's alright. But I doubt my brothers will approve."
"I'm alright? That's literally the nicest thing you've ever said to me." He laughed a bit. 

"Yeah. You're alright." I said and joined him.

After a few moments of heartfelt laughter, we both suddenly stopped and realized we were completely staring at each other. 

He's closing in, he would take my first kiss! If I let him. Of course, I will let him. God! I'm so nervous, but also very excited. I think I like him. Like like him. Wait, what? 
I kept thinking to myself completely forgetting about the situation at hand. 
I'm gonna kiss him! 
I felt his breath on my lips and decided to close the gap that was left. 

As soon as our lips touched, it felt magical. I felt like a firecracker. Exploding with all my emotions that were completely unknown. My stomach never stopped fluttering. It was euphoric. 

I felt his one hand on my waist pulling me closer and the other on my cheek. It was slow and passionate. Our lips molded perfectly against each other. He didn't force me to deepen it and I am thankful cause I really don't know how to do the tongue thing. (•_•).

We broke apart gasping for air. I could feel the heat on my cheeks was immense. I must be a bright crimson color by now. 
"You look so flustered and so cute," He said and played with my hair a bit. 
I flushed more if that was possible. Turning around I rest my head on his shoulder and looked into the distance. I didn't want to spoil this moment, it was just perfect. 

"That was your first kiss, and also ours. There'll be a lot more."
"How did you know it was my first? Was it that obvious?"
"I just guessed. Seeing that you have four extremely overprotective brothers, two of them in the same school. I thought you wouldn't be allowed to date."
"You're right. I'm not allowed to. But I guess I just broke a rule so maybe I can break more."
"I'll help you with that. Even if you get grounded after I take you out on a date, I'll take you out."
"Dammit! I'm gonna be grounded the minute I get home."
"Want me to drop you off? Then maybe say hi to your brothers?"
"Are you effing crazy?!"
He laughed out hard at this. I couldn't see why it was funny. They would kill him if they knew he took me out and kissed me while I was grounded!
"Wait! Fuck!"
"What? You just cursed... It must be bad"
I got up without a word and dashed off to his bike. 
"Hey, Davina! Wait! I didn't mean it!"
"I am grounded!"
"Yeah, I know. I'll drop you home"
"NO. I am grounded. I was supposed to be grounded this whole week. And the week ends tomorrow!"
"What? Why?"
"Cause Flynn and Kol told on you on Monday. Devon had to ground me. And it's a good thing Carlos didn't take my phone. Which is currently blasting with calls and messages!" I was starting to panic. I had never done this before. I had always told them where I would be going. 

Kol caught up to me and wrapped me in his arms. 
"Hey, shh" He tried to calm me down.
"It's alright. I'll drop you home. And then your brothers can punch me or do whatever. I'm just glad I had a nice time with you."
"I don't regret coming out with you. It was nice and I had my first kiss which was perfect along with the view. So, Can I get your number?"
"You don't regret it? Good. And yes." He took my phone from my hand and added his number. 
"Thanks. Now let's get going before they come looking for me!"

I took one of the helmets and gave him the other. I hopped on behind him and wrapped my arms tightly around him. 
"Just go as fast as you can. But not over the speed limit. Or I'll kill you myself and steal your bike"
"Hang on tight, princess."

We reached my home in about 15 minutes. 
"Thanks for everything Kol. But please just don't tell anyone tha-"

"Tell anyone what?" Devon cut in. Oh My God! Furious would be the look on his face. He was followed by Carlos, Colt, and Flynn. All of them staring daggers at Kol.
