At the sight of hellhound Parrish, Theo's pack showed off their fangs and claws but Parrish didn't seem frightened in the slightest, so Theo decided on another tactic. Slipping inside Lydia's room, the chimera grabbed her by the neck, moving to stand in front of Parrish as the man stopped walking and Stiles pulled Diana back down to stay hidden with him before she could slip away.

"Back off." Theo warned, as Parrish took a second to contemplate him before taking a step further. Theo pushed his claws in Lydia's neck and the girl gasped, causing Diana to practically growl from her place by Stiles, her skin not burning anymore and the fire in her hands dissipating, thankfully. "I said, back off. Take him."

The order had been given to his pack when Parrish stopped moving for Lydia's safety, but none of Theo's chimeras seemed too fond of the idea of going up against Parrish.

"The guy's on fire!" Corey protested, as Theo groaned.

"You'll heal. Do it!"

One by one, Theo's pack tried to take Parrish down, but, one by one, they were defeated. It seemed as if, no matter what new abilities the chimeras had in them, Parrish was immune to them all. After all of his chimeras had been knocked down, Theo decided it was time he did something, so he left Lydia behind as the girl fell to her knees before going at Parrish. As they fought, Valack, now free of Tracy's hold, crawled back into Lydia's room and grabbed his drill, making a hole in the back of Theo's leg as the chimera screamed and Valack moved over to grab Lydia again.

"No!" Lydia screamed as Valack pulled her up to her feet harshly.

"Sorry, Theo, but I'm not done with her yet." Valack said, moving to take Lydia away.

This time, when Diana stood up to go after Lydia, Stiles didn't stop her. Instead, he followed after her, the two of them choosing to ignore the chimera pack fighting - or trying to, at least - Parrish, as they followed after Valack. Before they could reach them, however, a pained scream echoed around the hallway and, almost out of instinct, Diana snapped her head around to look at the source of the sound, knowing she recognized it.

It all happened in a second. Diana saw how Parrish lit up Corey's entire body on fire before throwing him across the room and Diana widened her eyes when he realized he was heading straight at Stiles.

"No!" She squeaked, pushing Stiles out of the way just in time for Corey to land harshly on her, sending the two of them to the ground with a thud.

"Diana!" Stiles mumbled his surprise, scrambling to his feet after his girlfriend had practically pushed him to the ground as well, but out of danger.

Diana grunted then, pushing Corey off of her and wincing when Corey cried out. Looking around, Diana noticed how Valack was slipping away.

"Stiles, the door!" She yelled, pointing vaguely in the direction of the door Valack was taking Lydia through. Stiles hesitated, though, as Diana shook her head. "Stiles!"

Nodding quietly, Stiles stood up, moving to follow Valack as Diana turned back around to look at Corey, her eyes widening when she noticed just how badly the boy was hurt as he withered around in her grasp.

"It won't be much, but it's the best I can do now, Corey." Diana practically apologized, wincing when Corey cried out when Diana just touched his arm to try and help him heal some.

As expected, Diana wasn't able to help him much - not with how much damage Parrish had managed to do on the poor boy -, but, as Stiles slammed his fist against the door Valack had gone through, Diana realized her priorities laid elsewhere.

"Lydia! LYDIA!" Stiles yelled, almost desperately while trying to get the door open. "LYDIA!"

Standing up from beside Corey, Diana was fully prepared to try and melt down that door too, but, before she could reach her boyfriend, Theo did it first, after having, apparently, managed to stop Parrish for a while.

"Let me try." Theo practically growled as Stiles stepped aside and watched as Theo kicked the door down.

Stiles stared at him for a second, his eyes leaving Theo's when he felt Diana's hand wrapping around his, but, without a second of hesitation and without sparing Theo a single look, Diana pulled Stiles down the hallways with her, trying, aimlessly, to try and find any leads that would take her to Lydia.

"Stop!" Theo's voice echoed around them but neither of the kids listened. "You're not going to find her without me! Diana! Stiles!"

At that, Stiles stopped, causing Diana to do the same as she let out a groan, turning to look at Theo as the boy approached them slowly.

"I want her out of here, too." Theo said, as Diana practically scoffed at his statement. "I have her scent."

"What do you want?" Stiles demanded, as Theo rolled his eyes at him.

"What's the difference? I can find her. You can't." Theo said, causing Diana to huff but, before she could say anything else, Theo frowned, looking around until his eyes fell on a vent nearby.

Diana and Stiles exchanged a look then, but, knowing they had no other option, they followed after Theo. The boy crashed through a door then, leading them all into a shower room as some of the men around cowered in surprise. Diana sighed, trying not to look around too much while Stiles followed Theo closely and guided Diana through the room. Pushing one of the men aside, Theo stood by a drain, looking down at it as Stiles and Diana moved to stand beside him.

"It leads to the tunnels, doesn't it?" Theo asked, looking down at the ladder in front of them.

"There's miles of them." Stiles nodded, sounding almost hopeless. "They can be anywhere by now."

"Then we better start looking now." Diana spoke up, turning to look at Theo. "Get it open."

At her harsh words - the first ones she had directed at him since the last time they had seen each other -, Theo raised an eyebrow, looking almost amused.

"Someone's bossy." He teased and, before Stiles could even think about coming up with something to say, Diana spoke up again.

"Get it open, Raeken, or I swear to God I'll find a way to get you open instead."

Still with a chuckle on his lips, Theo did as he was told, stepping aside and pointing at the now open ladder in front of them.

"Ladies first." He smirked.

Looking over at his girlfriend, Stiles sighed, moving to grab both of Diana's hands in his to help her climb on the ladder and following her down as soon as he could. Just as his feet hit the ground, Stiles felt Diana's anxious energy from beside him, so, keeping himself close to her, Stiles, reluctantly, followed Theo down the tunnels, knowing full well he could have a better chance of finding Lydia than either of them. At some point, however, Theo stopped, moving closer to the wall as he pressed one of his ear to a pipe.

"I thought you had her scent?" Stiles asked.

"I lost it." Theo said.

"So find it again!"

"What do you smell down here, Stiles?" Theo asked, annoyed. As if he had the right to be annoyed at all.

"Chemicals and fecal matter." Stiles responded, after a second to sniff around the air. "Although, I'm pretty sure the fecal matter is you."

"I smell it, too." Theo rolled his eyes, clearly unhappy with Stiles' comment. "It's all that I can smell... Which is why I'm trying something else. So, can you shut up and let me concentrate?"

For a moment, Diana and Stiles let Theo try but Diana eventually grew restless again, groaning loudly as she spun in her heels and started to walk away, causing Stiles to follow her closely.

"I'm gonna find her." She decided, as Theo groaned back at her and called out her name.

"You know you won't, Jules." He said, causing Diana to whip her head around toward him so fast she almost felt her neck snapping.

"Don't call me that." She growled, pushing a finger against Theo's chest as she went up to his face and the boy raised an eyebrow at her. "You don't get to call me that anymore."

"Fine, Diana." He said, making sure to put emphasis on her name as Diana scoffed. "But it doesn't matter. You won't find her by yourself. You're gonna have to trust me."

"Trust you?" Diana laughed dryly, shaking her head in disbelief. "The guy who used me and left me for dead?"

"I didn't really want you to die, Jules. Diana." He corrected himself when Diana glared at him. "Not really, at least. I made sure the Dread Doctors knew you'd be able to come back from whatever they did to you. I didn't want you dead."

"What about your sister?" Stiles stepped up then, noticing the way Diana was growing more and more irritated with each passing second. "Did you want her to die when you murdered your own sister when you were nine?"

"Yeah, I was nine years old." Theo retorted, clearly offended. "I also believed a guy in a red suit came down the chimney to deliver presents. So, when three people in leather masks showed up and said that my sister wanted me to have her heart, I believed them, too."

"So then together you gutted and killed her." Stiles rolled his eyes sarcastically. "That's a beautiful story."

"I watched her fall into the water and freeze to death in minutes!" Theo argued. "Do you think I had any idea what was going on?"

"I think you pushed her. And I think you liked it." Stiles said, watching the way Theo hesitated for a second, but not really caring at the moment. "And I think you're lucky Diana is alive. Because I don't think you really cared."

"You wanted me as the dark phoenix." Diana spat at him as Theo's eyes left Stiles for a moment before falling on the blonde girl instead. "You wanted me dead and you wanted me evil. You wanted me back to the worst days of my life and you didn't care about anything but yourself. So... Trust you? I won't. Ever again."

And it was clear Theo wanted to argue. It was clear he wanted to say something else but, before he could, a loud scream was heard, causing the three of them to wince when the sound bounced off all of the walls.

"What direction was that?" Stiles asked, as soon as the scream stopped. "Where is it coming from?"

"Everywhere." Theo said sounding almost amazed, causing Diana to shake her head.

"No." She said, her hand shooting out to grab Stiles' as she ran with him down the corridor. "It came from there."

And without questioning much, the two boys followed Diana down a few tunnels, but when the space split in two, the girl realized she didn't know what else to do. Sighing, Diana spun around to look at Theo.

"Do you get something?" She asked, causing Theo to stop for a second.

"Nothing." He said, as Stiles scoffed.

"Great." He groaned. "You're just as useless as I am."

"I'm trying to help save her life!" Theo argued.

"Would you just drop the altruistic crap?" Stiles argued back, causing Diana to groan loudly as she rubbed her temples, feeling her body buzz with a new kind of energy that increased every passing second that Lydia was away from her and in danger. "You want Lydia because she gets you to Parrish. You want Parrish 'cause he gets you to the Beast."

"So what?" Theo scoffed. "I want it dead, too."

"Stop..." Diana mumbled, but neither of the boys paid her any mind.

"After you take its power, right?" Stiles asked, his voice and Theo's sounding a little muffled as she shook in frustration. "We know why you got the talons, and we know you're looking for Deucalion."

"I found Deucalion." Theo corrected smugly. "You're right. I'm going to help Parrish stop the beast. I'm going to take its power. And then, I'm going to break its neck. So, maybe I'm not the good guy in your eyes, but I might end up being the guy that saves all your asses!"

"Stop!" Diana yelled, snapping her head around to face the boys, her hands coming down from her head to spread beside her body as, around them, all of the pipes broke in half.

Stiles jumped back in surprise, recoiling at the loud banging sound from the metal pipes practically exploding. Theo protected himself as well, but he didn't seem all that shocked - in fact, he looked almost pleased. It made Stiles' skin crawl, the way Theo was looking at her and he wondered if he knew that she could possibly evolve her powers to do something like that - if that was why he had wanted her to die, if that was how he had wanted to help her. Stiles wondered what else Diana could possibly do, eventually, but that was a matter for later. Right now, she needed him to ground her again because, if they were to judge on the way Diana's hands still shook beside her body, Stiles knew she was stressed.

"Hey, easy now..." Stiles practically cooed, walking up to Diana as he grabbed her hands in his to get her to open her eyes and look at him. "You're okay, baby... Just take a breath."

"I can't find her..." Diana whimpered, leaning her forehead against Stiles' shoulder, tiredly. "Stiles..."

Stiles just hummed in response, giving Diana a hug as he looked around, trying to find a way to help her, help Lydia, help the pack. When he heard a low echo of something from beside him, he frowned, before widening his eyes in realization as he turned around to look at Theo while keeping Diana close to him in his arms.

"Put your ear near the pipe." Stiles said, as Theo frowned, confused.

"What?" He asked.

"The sound travels through the pipe." Stiles explained, sighing in exasperation when Theo kept staring at him. "You'll hear better, dumbass. Listen to it!"

Theo seemed to have taken the hint finally because he did as he was told, placing his ear next to the broken pipe, concentrating for a second before nodding.

"I got it." He announced, already taking off in a run as Stiles and Diana rushed behind him, following the chimera down the hallways until they found a locked door. "In here."

"Lydia!" Diana called, hearing a strange buzzing sound from inside the room. "Lydia!"

Theo slammed his body against the door a few times, trying to get it open, but the lock wouldn't move. Just before Diana could even try and push him aside to try and open the door herself, they heard yet another scream, so powerful and so loud they all flinched, Stiles pulling Diana out of the way when the doors flew open.

After a few seconds of pure shock, Diana pushed herself away from Stiles and rushed past the doors toward Lydia. She let out half a sigh of relief upon seeing her best friend still awake, but she could see the wound in her head and the way she was all sweaty and tired. Diana had seen Valack's body on the floor, half of his skull blown off by Lydia's voice alone, but she decided not to think about it as she moved toward Lydia instead and started to pull out the electrodes from her head. Lydia fell back against her chair, sighing out in relief at the so familiar touch from her best friend.

"You came back..." She whispered as Diana smiled at little at her.

"Of course I did."

"We're getting you out of here, okay?" Stiles said, moving to stand beside Diana, also opting for ignoring Valack's body on the floor.

"You can't!" Lydia protested, as Diana pulled out the last electrode from her head. "It's too dangerous..."

"Lydia, please shut up and let us save your life." Diana half-joked, causing Lydia to smile as she allowed Diana and Stiles to hold her up with one of her arms around their shoulders each as they walked with her out of the room.

Trying to make their way back from where they had come from while keeping Lydia up as she struggled to follow them, Stiles and Diana completely missed the way Theo didn't follow after them. But when Lydia stumbled again, Diana grunted when she tried to keep her best friend up.

"Okay, you gotta try to stay on your feet." Stiles encouraged quietly, keeping a firm grip around Lydia's waist as the girl groaned in pain. "The plan didn't work too well, so I'm gonna need your help, okay?"

"You had a plan?" Lydia asked, sounding almost surprised.

"Yeah. It was good on paper." Stiles said. "Not so much in reality."

"It wasn't good on paper either, actually, but it was the best we got, so..."

Before anyone could respond to Diana's comment, Lydia whimpered loudly, pulling her arms out from around their shoulders as she fell to the ground in her knees, pressing her hands to her temples.

"I... Can't do it!" Lydia cried out, as Diana widened her eyes but tried to reach out for her best friend, only to notice the way the walls around them seemed to shake. "Diana, run!"

And before Diana could even start to protest, she felt a hand on her shoulder, pulling her back and Diana barely had the time to register what was happening before Lydia was letting out a loud scream and Parrish covered her whole body with his, as if to muffle the sound. From his body, the flames started to flicker and the walls cracked, parts of it flying out as if an explosion had just happened and, out of pure instinct, Diana stood in front of Stiles, Scott and Liam - who had been following Parrish as it seemed -, letting out the phoenix as the golden bird came out from behind her and spread her wings wide, taking the blow of the explosion before any of it could hit the boys behind her.

After a second, the boys managed to look up from where they had crouched down by a wall and Stiles caught a small glimpse of the phoenix retreating back into Diana, before the girl turned around to check on them, her eyes flashing gold for a second as she almost instantly reached for Stiles to wipe his face from the dust and help him up while ignoring the looks he, Scott and Liam were sending her.

"You boys okay?" She asked, as they all nodded, standing up to attention when Parrish walked through the smoke of the explosion with a very tired Lydia in his arms.

"Where to?" He asked, and, swallowing his shock, Scott pointed to his right.

"This way."

Following Scott and Liam's lead, Diana kept an eye on Parrish as he carried Lydia along. Eventually, thanks to Declan and Mason's help outside after they had managed to take Eichen out of lockdown, they finally got out of the building, standing just in front of the gates as they waited for Malia and Kira to bring out Stiles' jeep for them.

"Can you stand?" Parrish asked, putting Lydia down on the floor when the girl nodded.

Moving to stand beside her best friend to keep her upright just as the jeep came to a stop in front of them.

"Is she okay?" Malia asked, climbing out of the jeep with Kira, her eyes falling on Lydia as the girl kept whimpering.

"No." Scott said, reaching for the keys in Malia's hand. "We need to go. Give me the keys. We gotta get her to the clinic."

Just as Diana and Parrish were about to help Lydia inside the jeep, the deputy groaned in pain, falling to the ground as Lydia stumbled and Diana grunted, trying to keep her steady. Lydia whined when Tracy, who had apparently, attacked Parrish, pulled Lydia out of Diana's arms and held her in a choke-hold.

"Sorry, she's coming with me." The girl smirked, watching the way Diana's eyes flashed to their golden form while she practically growled at her.

"Okay, Tracy, just wait." Scott tried to reason, holding Diana back before she could do too much damage. "You don't know what's about to happen..."

"I'm taking her, that's what's happening." Tracy interrupted the alpha. "And none of you are going to do a thing..."

Before she could finish her sentence, however, they all heard a buzzing sound as Tracy convulsed, letting Lydia go as she fell to the ground and
