friendship. And importantly, a sense of trust and comfort around him had begun to flourish tonight to a degree far greater than ever before, with any preconceived judgements that I had about Theo slowly washing away as this wave of understanding between us emerged. 

Noticing my gaze, Theo tears his eyes away from the screen to look to his side at me, furrowing his eyebrows ever so slightly with curiosity as he boyishly smiles at me. I look away abashedly, but not before I smile back, shrugging my body closer to him as I question him on which genre he is in the mood for and settle in for a night together. And although we might be more physically apart than usual I feel as though we are closer than ever.
