Welp this is arc 2 of the whole book I guess

As Sunny had announced that there were some toons still stuck in the floors below

  
Let's just say that there were some worries and some angers that was in the crowd

  
But it all calmed down, at this time, they were just preparing some supplies to help them

   
With the elevator only needing a max. of 4-5 toons to rescue the ones below
   
 
The toons who were going to venture down were Y/N, Sunny, Shelly, Teagan and Rodger

   

As they descend down, Sunny and Shelly weren't making eye contact at all, the Teacase couple were just cuddled together and Y/N was just checking their supplies

  
When they stepped onto the first floor, nothing was out of the ordinary, same with the next and the next and the next and so on

  
They then got onto the 10th floor, it was a warehouse map but what was weird is that there was less tapes (and by less, just only 1 or 2 in each sections of the map)

  
Y/N thought it was weird but they shrugged it off, they then find a machine that's a bit close to the elevator and begine extracting it without knowing something else was on the floor with them

    
With Shelly and Sunny, they were awkwardly walking beside eachother while looking for some machines

   
Sunny then finds one in a cramped area and started extracting it with Shelly cheering her

       
Soon enough, 4 machines were already completed, as Sunny and Shelly were wandering around

   
Sunny heard something coming their way, "Shelly watch out!" She then proceeds to carry Shelly out of the way

    
A twisted was going to jump on her, Sunny then rushed to another section of the map with Shelly in her arms

      
The twisted was confused on where they went but looked for others to hunt

   
With the Teacase couple, they were only extracting machines near eachother and talking about the cases Rodger solved all those years ago

     
"So what happened next when you found Susi's plush?" Teagan asked, "Well it turned out to be Gigi who stole it. It was pretty obvious from the start" Rodger told her, finishing the machine he was doing

    
"That Toon won't stop being greedy," Teagan said, also finishing her machine as well, "but is it weird that the tapes are so little on this floor?" She continued, "Yes it is.." Rodger replied

    
Back with Y/N, they were busy looking for machines, not aware that something had their eyes locked onto them

    
Their feet was starting to give up when all of the sudden, they get jumped by a twisted (again)

     
Y/N instantly retaliates and the twisted gets knocked back by a little, they do a quick look at the twisted

     
They had a cash-like head that was ripped from the right, them having a green dress and that they were missing their left leg

   
The twisted then rush to attack Y/N but they had used a smoke bomb to escape

  
Y/N escaped the hell out of there and out of the twisted's line of sight, and by pure chance, come across Shelly and Sunny in a room together, it was a rare sight

     
"Hey guys, do you know someone that has paper money for a head?" Y/N asked, "You mean Monlene? She's one of those toons in the poster you found" Sunny explained to them

     
"She was also a good negotiator, always getting what other people offered to her" Shelly continued to say

  
"Alright then, I'll leave you two to your... Funny business heh" Y/N then leaves them alone and not without hearing something

  
  

  
"WE'RE NOT DATING!! Yet?"

   
  
  
  
Sunny yelled to them, not realizing that both her and Shelly were actually holding hands with eachother and Shelly ignored what Sunny meant by yet and went to find machines

     
Y/N then rushes out that section of the warehouse and felt that something had spotted them from afar

     
They turned around and saw Monlene approaching them from a distance, you could say she was slow cuz of her having one foot

    
While Monlene was menacingly getting near to Y/N, they quickly thought about how to bring her back and recalled what Shelly said earlier

   
As Monlene had neared dangerously closer to them, Y/N had some items on their hand

    
"Hey Monlene! Want to negotiate with these items?" They show her the offer and it was a valve and a smoke bomb

    
"I'll trade it to you for your sanity coming back!" It was a terrible offer but hey, what else could they do?

    
It takes Monlene a few seconds to think and then spoke up, "Then it's a deal" both of them shook their hands and Y/N gave the smoke bomb and valve to her

   
They then led Monlene to the elevator after hearing the panic timer had activated

    
The Teacase couple were already there and Sunny and Shelly had been the last to arrive

   
Both of them were still awkward with eachother and Y/N didn't want to budge them on what happened

    
They ascend back up to the lobby and Y/N brings her to the revival machine room, "Uhh, can you give me your trinket?" They asked

    
Monlene then hands the trinket to them, "Do I have the permission to stab you? It's the only way to turn you back into a toon" Y/N explained

      
She thought for a few minutes and gave them the permission to do it, they did and she melted like she was a piece of ice

   
Y/N placed her trinket into the slot and with her ichor sample (before they went to the elevator, Sunny prepared the ichor samples for the Moneyfesting crew beside the machine)

    
As the machine worked its magic, the silhouette of Monlene in the machine appeared before their eyes

        
After the revival was finished, she went out and back to her toom self, "Huh... I guess it really worked" She said as she took a look at her form

     
"But what about the others? Would they be okay as well?" Monlene asked them, they were unsure but replied, "We'll find them sooner or later!"
