I shivered when I felt the morning cold air hit my cheek and flow down through my scarf, to my neck. I shook in place, waiting until my warmth came back. When I looked up, I noticed Daiki walking without me, making me hurriedly rush by his side.
I followed along with him all the way to school, leaving behind a trail of footsteps in the everlasting snow.
☠
I stepped out of my noisy classroom, onto the marble floor of the school's hallways in search of my beloved idiot.
Ahomine...I remember that nickname...
I smiled at that memory.
I felt someone tap my shoulder, knowing who it was already. I turned as he turned to walk towards the cafeteria. I looked down at the floor and felt like I was about to squeal. It was building up inside.
I then brought my gaze to his hand and slipped my smaller hand in, intertwining my fingers with his. I nuzzled up against him and laid my head on his arm.
☠
It was study hall, I sat in the library along with Daiki by my side. Who was fast asleep on the table, with a book open in front of him. I gave a scowl and poked his cheek, but he didn't budge.
Why isn't he studying...? It's time to study...not to sleep.
I closed my textbook and leaned down to his level, poking his cheek again, "Daiki...you shouldn't be sleeping...it's time to study." I whispered in his ear, making him swat his hand in the air.
I guess my breath was tickling his ear.
He needs to wake up before he's caught...
I placed my hand on his arm and shook him lightly, "Daiki...wake up. You'll get caught." I frowned at the slightest when he shook my arm off. I sighed and turned away, pouting.
A few moments later I turned back and tried again.
I thought of a way that he'd wake up; get mad and at least be awake so he wouldn't get in trouble. I pinched his nose, stopping his breathing. Eventually I heard the struggle of him trying to breath as he shot upwards and gasped, glaring at me afterwards.
I flashed an innocent smile, "You're welcome. You would've gotten in trouble, so I woke you up." I informed him, he sat back down and kept shooting daggers.
"Who cares if I sleep, man. Leave me be, I won't get caught."
"Okay, first of all, I care. And second of all, you will. Mr.(Teacher's Name) was eyeing the both of us. You're welcome and I'm sorry, Mr.Sleepyhead." I placed a gentle kiss on his lips and pulled away, going back to my textbook.
I didn't hear anything from him until my attention was pulled away from the textbook. It was given to Daiki who pulled me into a passionate kiss from behind his textbook.
At the end of that, gladly the textbook was still standing, or else the both of us would've been in trouble.
☠
I waited for Daiki inside of the gym as he helped clean up. Or, at least try to help clean up as he argued with Wakamatsu.
He's been improving...coming to practice, practicing, trying to clean up...
I smiled at his improvement.
Later, we both went ahead and stopped at a light, waiting for it to turn to the pedestrian symbol in order for us to cross.
As we were walking, I heard a woman scream, a man yell, horns honking and a light shining towards Daiki and I.
We both looked to the side, seeing a car couldn't come to a complete stop as it was sliding against the slippery paved ground.
It was coming right at us, about to hit us.
No...it can't-
I pushed Daiki ahead, awaiting the crash on this snowy day.
I blacked out.
☠
I awoke to beeping sounds and air pumps.
I squinted at the light as my vision was still a blur, seeing white. I got up slowly, holding my head as the sharp lingering pain was killing me. I kept hearing a ringing sound in my ear as I shook my head, only to gain more pain.
I groaned out and exhaled sharply.
I noticed someone was sitting in the chair near my bed.
"(F-First Name), I was so worried...I thought I-I lost yo-you, there was so much blood and..." I cut out the rest of his words and looked at him confused. He stopped and sighed, smiling worriedly, "I'm just glad you're-"
"Who are you?"
