I stood there.

At the gym's door.

I have to go in, I need to deliver these papers and money.

I peered in at the people who were inside.

Aomine isn't there...

I frowned, knowing from what Momoi told me, Aomine would be on the rooftop either sleeping or reading his perverted magazines.

I stepped in as the the captain, vice-captain and coach had their backs facing me. I cleared my throat, making the coach and Imayoshi stare at me. The coach signalled for Imayoshi to come and speak to me, and so he did.

"(Last Name)-chan, what are you doing here?" His glasses shone over his squinted eyes. As so the sly grin he always had plastered on his face was curled up more.

"I came to drop off the papers and money for your club." I waved back and forth the envelope that I was holding. He placed a hand on his hip and attempted to grab the envelope which I took back.

"I need your coach - Coach Katsunori Harusawa - to sign this," I waved the envelope back in forth again, "Principal's and paper's orders." He nodded understandingly as I handed him the papers.

"I need you to sign these ones." I handed him papers instead of the envelope. I handed him a pen and waited.

"(LAST NAME)-CHAAAAN~!" I looked to my left and saw Momoi running towards me. Fast. I panicked and ran forward, forgetting that Imayoshi was there. When I ran, I fell onto Imayoshi.

I managed to avoid Momoi but, Imayoshi looked at me with wide-eyes. I flinched at realization and backed up; looking at him with the same look.

His eyes were open, his mouth was gaped with shock.

I quickly looked down and clasped my hands together, shyly.

"I-I'm sorry..."

I do things I don't like...what am I?

He apologized as well, signing the papers and handed it to me. He pushed up his glasses and when I walked away, he kept staring.

"(Last Name)-chan! Dai-chan hasn't came to practice since after that day, what exactly happened between you two?"

I refuse to answer.

"Things happened, Momoi..."

She looked upset that he came for a while, then he left.

"I'm sorry, Momoi. I can't do anything about-" when I was looking around, I saw him at the door, staring directly at me. I felt myself choke.

Choke on the words I couldn't say. It felt as if all the air in my lungs suddenly left my body. Like I was gasping for my last breath. I felt like I wanted to scream and cry, scream and cry. To scream and cry out all of my emotions. My mind felt hazy as the lack of oxygen was getting to my brain. The tears welled up in my eyes, the room started spinning as I lost my balance.

"Why do I feel so..."

...dizzy...

I awoke in a room that seemed familiar, like
I've been there before. I looked over by my side and saw Momoi looking at me worriedly, with him standing behind her.

"(Last Name)-chan! You're okay!" She came by my side, holding one of my hands. I placed a hand on my forehead, feeling like my was still spinning.

"What...happened...?" I gasped out, I sat up quickly, feeling the pain. I brought my hands to my head as closed them, burying my head in the sheets. "Ah! Not so fast, (Last Name)-chan!"

What exactly happened...?

"Satsuki, can I speak to her? Alone." Momoi looked back at Aomine, about to argue, but then noticed the reason why.

The eyes are the window to the soul.

Momoi stood up and squeezed my hand, "I'll see you after, (Last Name)-chan!" Leaving the room shortly after.

He stood for a while, while I stared down at my palms. I sighed and looked up at him. Expecting for him to say something.

"You don't know what it's like feeling helpless, what it's like pushing people away, frequent crying or unhappy expressions, loss of interest, switching between calm and sad seamlessly, and feeling like no one understands you." He took a step forward, sitting on the chair Momoi sat on, scooting closer.

"That's right," he paused, "I may not know what it feels like, but what I can tell you, when you keep yourself silent, I don't understand. That's why you need to communicate with me. I'll understand."

"Actions speak louder than words..." I gripped the sheets and clenched my teeth, "Before you say anything-"

"I'm sorry."

Wh-

"Wh-What?" I looked up at him, his head low as a wet, salty tear streamed down my left cheek. "I said, "I'm sorry", don't make me repeat it." He turned his head away, shyly.

I-It's the feeling again...

I know nothing at all...

I will stumble and fall...

I'm still learning to love...
