"Who are you?" I stared at the tanned male standing before me. Curiously, I didn't know who he was, or why he was there. His worriedly sad expression turned shocked and I could almost hear that he was choking on his words, his tears filling his eyes.

He looked down and gritted his teeth, afterwards, his anger steamed out of his body as the air was less tense. "Nothing...sorry." he stood up and headed towards the door, stopping to look back at me.

I curiously stared at the tall male as he sighed, leaving the room.

That was...weird...

I blinked a few times and looked out the window.

Why am I even here? The last thing I remember was (Ex's Name) breaking up with me...being betrayed by (Best Friend's Name)...m-mother dying...and that's it.

I went to school about a month later with only slight headaches, staying in a hospital, no visitors. I continued all of my work. Casually walking through the somewhat rowdy halls, some of the girls and guys gave me worried glances and looks.

Eventually I was approached by one of my classmates, "(Last Name)-chan? Are you okay? I heard you got into a car accident!" I tilted my head, putting the pieces together.

Maybe that's the reason why...I was staying there...

I put on a fake smile, "Yeah...I did. But, I-I'm okay, (Boy's Name)-kun." He stopped his worried expression and blinked, gulping, "U-Uh...do you want to hang out after school? I mean, go out? Ah! I mean-"

"I'd like to do that." I giggled at his clumsiness to utter words out. His cheeks flared a beet red colour as he dropped his things. I took a step back as he tried to cooly pick them up.

What a klutz, I'll help him...

I knelt down and helped him out.

After that, he waved off to me and ran to his next class, leaving me with a smile.

Then I felt a pit of anxiety in my stomach.

Somehow...something...feels off...like there's something missing...

I sat down on the chair that (Boy's Name) pulled out for me, I thanked him and scooted closer in to the table. He sat across from me as the biggest smile on his face stayed there.

"U-Um, so how are you?" He asked anxiously, trying to calm down the atmosphere around us. I was assuming that since we didn't interact much, he was nervous.

"A-Ah, (Boy's Name)-kun, you don't have to be so nervous around me..." I tried to reassure him at ease, which only made him become more nervous. I sighed and smiled at him, touching his hand.

He jolted at first, then became less tense. He gave me a timid smile, his cheeks decreasing in the less tense pink. He gulped the lump in his throat and started chatting with me.

I went home and opened the door with my keys. I opened the door and stepped onto the polished wooden floor and looked up, seeing a shocked expression on my grandparents' and sister's faces.

"I'm...home?" I tilted my head.

My grandparents rushed to me and hugged me, "I know we let you go, but we missed you so much..." My grandmother started to cry in my arms as my grandfather rubbed my back.

"What are you talking about? When did you let me go?" I asked, which they gave me an odd look.

"Why are you here, I thought you didn't want to live here." My sister's voice was harsh.

"What are you talking about? I live here, and I don't know what you mean, why wouldn't I want to live here?" I asked tilting my head at her cold demands of wanting answers. She furrowed her brows, from what I assumed, she was looking for a lie.

"I thought that guy-" she stopped herself from saying anything longer, "Never mind, welcome home." She sighed and turned away. I knitted my brows at confusion of whatever was going on.

What are they talking about...? I've been living here the whole time. What guy? My grandparents let me leave? I left?

What...?
