Branch got into a fight with Creek over organizing skills in his bunker.

Branch: No no no! The plates go in the top shelf and the cups go on the bottom shelf! It's that simple!

Creek: Branch, does it really matter where they go?

Branch: My bunker, my rules, Zen boy!

Creek: Say that again...!

Branch: Zen...boy!

Ooooookay, long story short, they've been arguing since this morning so...before this escalates, let's get outta here.

Poppy checked things off her checklist while some of the other trolls were hard at work.

Sky: Queen Poppy.

Poppy: Yes?

Sky: I'm afraid there's an issue with the cakes for the party.

Poppy: Which is...

Sky: There's only...one flavor left.

The other Trolls heard that and started freaking out, Cooper even tipped over a table.

Poppy: Oh please, not this again...! Sky, why don't you find other flavors we can try for the party tonight, and I'll-

Branch: I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO IN MY ROOM!!!!

Creek: YOU SAID THE GUEST ROOM WAS OFF LIMITS!!!!

Poppy: ..Hang on, I gotta take this.

Poppy put her clipboard in her hair and approached the two arguing Trolls. They had been arguing like this for over a week and it was starting to bug her.

Creek: MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU COULD BE MORE SPECIFIC, MATE!!!!

Branch: I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME MATE!!!!

Poppy: Boys!!!!!

Poppy pulled the two apart but they glared at each other like predators fighting over prey.

Branch: Zen boy!

Creek: Lonesome!

Poppy: ENOUGH!!!! What's today's argument about now?!

Branch: Poppy, this traitor hacked into my room and-

Poppy: Let me stop you right there, Branch, it's my turn to yell at you now! You two have been at this for over a week! Fighting like siblings over every little thing! Why can't you two just learn to get along?!

Branch: I'll get along with a traitor when spiders drive buses!

?: Hey, that's me, fellas!

The three saw a spider drive by in a caterbus wearing a chauffeur hat.

?: I'm off to see the world!

Poppy: ...So?

Branch: That doesn't change anything! I'm still not talking to him!

Creek: Fine by me!

The two turned away from each other crossing their arms, Poppy sighed and face palmed not wanting to deal with another Branch vs. Creek fight.

Poppy: Look...I'll make you guys a deal, there's a special party happening tonight, and everyone's going. If you guys can get along at least for tonight, you don't have to talk to each other ever again and you can get back to your regular routines. Are we clear?

Branch and Creek both rolled their eyes but reluctantly agreed to Poppy's conditions.

Poppy: Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a party to get ready for.

With that, Poppy stormed off hoping that she wouldn't have to endure this again.

Branch: ...Did she say there was a party tonight?

Branch looked around before taking a ring box out of his hair. Remember when Poppy had stage fright? Well, Branch had been hiding this ring for a while, and he's been trying to find the right moment to give it to Poppy. Only problem...when you're in love with an energetic queen, finding the right time is no easy task.

Creek: What's that you've got there, Branch?

Branch gasped and quickly tucked the box back into his hair.

Branch: Nothing! Hey, Poppy!

Poppy: Wha-AAAAAHHHHH!!!!

Branch suddenly dragged Poppy by her hair to a private area so no one would see them.

Poppy: Branch, what the heck!

Branch: Sorry, Poppy, I had to make sure no one would hear me say this.

Poppy: Say what?

Branch: Well...about this dance-

Poppy: Ugh, Branch, we've been over this! If you don't want to go to an event, you're more than welcome to skip it!

Branch: A-Actually, Poppy, it's not that.

Poppy: Wait, what? Then what is it?

Branch: I actually wanted to ask you if...you'd go with me...to the party.

Poppy: Huh?

Branch: Y'know...I uh...I want you to be my date, Poppy.

Poppy suddenly lost her footing and fell backwards, Branch quickly grabbed her arm before she hit the ground.

Poppy: Whoa...

Branch: You okay...?

Poppy: Sorry, it's just...this is the first time you actually wanted to do something with me. Usually you just run the first chance you get, are you okay? Do you need to lie down?

Branch: What? No, I'm fine, Poppy. I just wanna spend some on on one with you.

Poppy: You sure...?

Branch: Yes, Poppy! Am I not allowed to spend time with my best friend?!

Poppy: Okay, okay, sheesh, I just wanted to be sure!

Branch: So...is that a yes?

Poppy: ...Sure, Branch, I'll go, you are my friend after all.

Poppy gave Branch a hug and left to continue with preparations.

Branch: ...Score, Branch!

Poppy: Oh boy...who knew prepping for a party would be so-AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

The queen was left in a state of shock when she saw baskets of roses arranged in front of her pod. She picked up the note and read it.

Poppy: "Will you go with me to the party?" Signed Creek?!

Oh boy...love triangle alert.

Poppy: I can't say yes...but I also can't say no, what if I hurt his feelings?! I better let him down gently and tell him I already have a date.

Branch: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!

That would probably have to wait, the arguing was back on again.

Creek: I just wanted to ask her if she'd accompany me! Is that so wrong?!

Branch: SHE'S MINE TONIGHT!!!!!!!

Poppy groaned in frustration and covered her face.

Poppy: You two just can't seem to get along, can you?!

Branch: Poppy, we all know the truth about Zen boy!

Poppy: ...Branch, put those away, it's disrespectful.

But Branch got even more upset when he saw Creek put his arm around Poppy.

Creek: So, Poppy, have you considered my proposal?

Poppy: Uh...Creek, that's nice and all but...I think you overdid it with the flowers. Maybe you were being...a little too friendly.

Creek: Too friendly?! There's no such thing as being too friendly for you, Poppy. Boop!

Poppy blushed a little when Creek tapped her nose, old times.

Poppy: Oh gosh...this is hard to say, but-

Branch: She's going with me!

Branch pushed Creek back and held Poppy's hand firmly, uh oh...here we go again.

Creek: Branch, Poppy's our friend, you don't own her!

Branch: I'm! Her! Boyfriend! Like it or not, I'm going to the party with her!

Poppy: Uh, Branch...?

Branch: What, Poppy?! What?!

Poppy: Are you sure you don't wanna take a breather...?!

Branch: What are you talking about?!

Poppy: You're kinda breaking my hand...!

Branch looked down at how hard he was holding Poppy's hand and quickly let go.

Branch: Oh geez...!

Poppy: Okay...Creek, Branch, I know you guys don't see eye to eye, BUT CAN YOU PLEASE JUST TRY TO GET ALONG TONIGHT?!?! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

With that, Poppy walked off, she was beginning to lose her patience with the two. Branch gave Creek the stink eye once Poppy was out of sight.

Branch: Stay out of her way, she's mine!

Creek: We'll see about that!

Throughout the day, Poppy kept getting unlimited attention from her two suitors...and it was beginning to drive her nuts.

Creek: Poppy, I baked you these cupcakes!

Poppy: Uh...thank you?

Reluctantly, Poppy picked up a cupcake from the basket and ate it in one bite.

Poppy: Creek, what's this about?

Creek: Nothing, just a friendly gesture...making up for what I did.

Poppy: Okay...

Later, Branch came up to Poppy while she was setting up a banner.

Branch: Hey Poppy!

Poppy: Wha-GAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

Poppy suddenly fell off her ladder and Branch quickly caught her.

Branch: Whoa, my bad!

Poppy: Branch, don't ever do that again! Ugh...what is it?

Branch: Just uh...wanted to see if you needed any help with the preparations.

Poppy: No, everything's fine, Branch...this wouldn't have anything to do with the party later, would it?

Branch: What? No, of course not! Just...trying to be nice, y'know?

Poppy suddenly grabbed Branch and shook him upside down, cans of pepper spray came pouring out of his pockets.

Branch: Hey!!!

Poppy: You were gonna use those on Creek, weren't you?

Branch: Uh...would you believe a no?

Poppy: Unbelievable...

Poppy shoved Branch to the ground and walked off crossing her arms.

Branch: ...Was it something I said?!

Later, Poppy mumbled to herself while setting up the tables with baked goods and chocolate fountains.

Poppy: What is with those two? They can't even be normal for just one night...I love them both, but even I have to draw the line.

Creek: Poppy!

Poppy gasped and accidentally spilled chocolate on her dress.

Poppy: Oh no...now what?!

Creek: Wanna share a dance?!

Poppy: Creek, now's not a good-

Too late, Creek dragged Poppy to the center and started dancing with her...or so to speak. Her feet were dragging in the grass.

Creek: I can already feel the electricity between us!

Poppy: Creek, I'm gonna give you 5 seconds to let go. You don't wanna see my bad side!

Creek: But why? Wouldn't you want to accompany me to the party tonight?

That did it, Poppy yelled loudly and whacked Creek away with her hair. She was done!

Poppy: No!!!! I would not want to go with you to the party and I'm sick and tired of you and Branch trying to butter me up! All I want is for you two to just get along tonight!!!!!!

With that, she stormed back to her pod and slammed the door.

Branch: So...trying to charm her, are you?

Creek: Don't push it...Lonesome!

Branch: Zen boy!

The dance began that night and everyone was having a good time. Poppy opened her door slightly and looked around. No one was there, thankfully. She fully opened her door and stepped out wearing her favorite gown.

Poppy: Okay...just gotta keep the party under control. Just a night off from being queen.

Branch: Poppy, you made it!!!

Poppy groaned and face palmed, spoke too soon. Branch adjusted his bow tie and handed her a bouquet of flowers.

Branch: You ready?

Poppy: Yeah...thanks, Branch, I'll just...go put these inside.

Poppy slowly shut her door and placed the bouquet in a vase. She thought for sure that the fight would blow over and the boys would just wanna have a good time. Apparently, she was wrong.

Branch: Poppy, let's go before Creek shows up to ruin our night!

That got Poppy's attention and she quickly opened to door giving Branch a nasty glare.

Poppy: What did you do?!

Branch: Uh...

Meanwhile, Creek was tied up and gagged in a bush, struggling to free himself.

Branch: ...Nothing!

Poppy rolled her eyes and took Branch's hand. She wanted to have a good time, but given what she had to put up with all day, that would prove to be a challenge.

Branch: Poppy, you sure you're not up for a dance?

Poppy: Yup, I'm all danced out.

Poppy sat near the punch table sipping her 5th cup of punch.

Branch: Okay...anything you would want to do besides drown in that punch?

Creek: YOU!!!!!

Creek suddenly emerged from the bushes and Branch completely went silent.

Poppy: Creek, why are you-

Creek: He tied me up before I could get to your pod!!!

Branch: What?! I did nothing of the sort!

Creek: Liar!!!

Poppy: You did what?!?!

Branch: Uh...

Creek: Get over here! I'm not finished with you!

Soon, the two got into a scuffle calling each other names and pulling on each other's hair. Poppy was starting to grow more and more intolerant of their arguing.

Branch: SHE'S MY GIRLFRIEND!!!!!

Creek: SO?!?! DOESN'T MEAN SHE CAN'T BE WITH FRIENDS!!!!

Branch: RIGHT!!!!! TAKE ADVICE FROM CREEK WHO TURNED HIS FRIENDS OVER TO THE BERGENS JUST SO HE COULD LIVE!!!!!

Poppy: COME HERE!!!!!

Suddenly, Poppy grabbed both boys by their hair and used her own hair as a tent to cover them up.

Poppy: All I ask is for you two to get along for just one night, and this happens! You two can't even agree to disagree! AND I'M SO SICK OF YOU TRYING TO BUTTER ME UP AND WIN ME OVER!!!!!! I'M A TROLL, NOT A TROPHY!!!!

Branch and Creek both looked away with shameful glances.

Poppy: Okay...Branch, I know you still don't trust Creek after what he did to us. Creek, I know you don't like Branch because he's a Troll that likes to keep to himself. However, I really think you two can find some common ground. What's something you two have in common?

Neither one said anything for several seconds until Branch finally spoke up.

Branch: Well, I may not be a social butterfly, but nothing beats a good party, I don't mind getting out every now and then.

Creek: Me too, I usually do yoga, but being at a party is much more relaxing.

Branch: Okay...

Creek then pulled Branch close and whispered in his ear.

Creek: To tell you the truth, I hate yoga!

Branch: Really?

Creek: I'm not your typical Troll, I just do it for show!

Branch: Ugh, thank you! Finally! Someone that gets it! I hate it too! I only did it because Poppy won a bet with me and I had to do everything she wanted!

Creek: Seriously, who wants to get all stretchy like putty?

Branch: Right?!

The two walked away laughing and talking leaving Poppy rather confused.

Poppy: Guys? Guys!

Later that night, Branch snuck away from the party to get alone time.

Branch: Great, another opportunity gone.

When he was sure no one was around, he took his ring box out of his hair and opened it slightly. Like I said before, he had it for a long time and was picturing it on Poppy's finger, but something always stopped him. All he wanted was the perfect moment, just for them.

Creek: You'll get her soon.

Branch shrieked and quickly hid the ring box back in his hair.

Branch: How did-when did you-

Creek: I've known for a while, you make it really obvious you're hiding something.

Branch: Uh...I don't know what you're talking about!

Creek: The perfect opportunity?

Branch started sweating and sighed knowing he was caught.

Branch: Okay, you got me.

Creek: I can't do anything to stop you, but I can wish you good luck?

Branch: Wait...seriously?

Creek: You won her fair and square, I broke her heart on the other hand. You earned it.

Branch was a little surprised, he knew that he and Creek never saw eye to eye, but it looked like he knew when he was beaten, and he accepted Poppy's choice as well. He knew that he did a bad thing and he was doing whatever he could to redeem himself. Maybe...maybe they could become good friends after all!
