Cale Henituse didn't regret anything.

Seeing his family laughing and smiling brought him the greatest joy.

However, when Choi Han, his hyungnim, father, younger brother, and everyone else took turns entering his room with sad looks, Cale Henituse-Kim Rok Soo, was accustomed to comforting them and masking his pain with a stoic expression.

Yet, Raon, Hong, and On were different, those sensitive children had been by his side daily. Cale's only regret was causing them sorrow.

Since he piercing the World Tree's branch into his heart, he felt his heartbeat alter. The Vitality of the Heart couldn't resist the World Tree's influence.

Though his body seemed fine, every inch was damaged. Cale Henituse wasn't naive about his condition, he had relied too much on The Vitality of the Heart

"Human, don't! Don't leave us!" Raon sobbed, clinging to him. "I'll destroy the world and kill myself!"

Usually, Cale would shiver at Raon's intensity, but now his hand weakly stroked the dragon's round head.

"No, Raon," Cale whispered, his vision blurring. "You're a mighty dragon. Who will the world rely on?"

Raon wailed in despair, "I don't need the world! I only need my human!" Shout Raon when he realized his human fading breath.

"Raon, Hong, On, Ron, Choi Han, Alberu-hyung, Beacrox, Rosalyn, Eruhaben-nim, Lock, Mary... Haah..." Cale out of breathe when trying to call all the people he precious and want to remember them, say thank to the names even though His eyes already dimmed.

Somehow memories flashing rapidly, highlighting those who enriched this second life of his.

"Bud, Mila-nim, Dodori, Rasheel, Witira, Archie, Hannah, Jack, Clopeh, Fredo-nim, Cage, Taylor, Toonka, Tasha," Cale paused, "Father, Mother, Basen, Lily," Cale really couldn't say anything in his last sentence he could only move his lips to say the names of his colleagues in his previous life.

Cale felt this was the first time he felt the feel of a human dying. Previously as Kim Rok Soo, he only felt like he was falling asleep after reading the novel The Birth of a Hero.

But this time, Cale really felt his breath slowly fading, his hand that touched Raon's head slowly lost its strength.

"Please this time, let me enjoy my life,"the corners of his eyes flowed with warm tears, "As a real slacker."

__________

The God of Death truly loves and respects Cale Henituse-Kim Rok Soo as a human who managed to destroy the Laws of the World and change natural events.

Therefore, he granted Cale's wish to have a life that was almost according to his wishes.

"Hm, hello?" greeted the God of Death when he met Cale in his dream. The human stared sharply as if he was a god who had made a big mistake.

"What should I fight this time?" Cale sarcastically said when he saw the God of Death nervous.

But the God of Death shook his head, "No, no, this time you can be lazy! I promise, later when you are reborn, as long as you don't meet 'him' you will be an ordinary person!"

Cale just crossed his arms unimpressed, "Are you serious?"

An aggressive nod tried to convince the man in front of him.

"Really?" Cale's face was now beaming, "Who is 'him' that I can't meet?"

"Like this," the God of Death then showed a little bit of what happened in the world where Cale would be reincarnated. "You will be born ten years in this world before the 'Dungeon Gate Outbreak' occurs."

Cale felt a bad feeling when he heard those words starting to emit a thick aura of annoyance.

"Wait, listen to me first, you know, this world is Earth 1, but without the Cataclysm and the Monsters that rule every inch of the world, the only dangerous thing is inside the Dungeon!

The Hunters will take care of it in the future, so don't worry!"

Cale's eyes narrowed, "Let me sleep forever," Cale answered firmly, undeniably.

"Come on, you will enjoy your normal life, this God of Death guarantees it for you!"

"Will I be one of the Hunters who are part of the Monster extermination?" he said as if he had seen the future.

"No," the God of Death firmly stated, "South Korea where you will be born already has many S-class Hunter fighters later. The one I mean will take care of making your area safe, Han Yoojin will be the middle of this world so as long as you don't meet him, you can be lazy!"

"Are you serious?"

The God of Death nodded.

"Can you promise?"

"Promise," the God of Death smiled slightly, "As long as you don't meet Han Yoojin."

"Can you just kill this 'Han Yoojin'?"

"Then the world you will live in will experience destruction that exceeds 'Earth 1'."

"Haaaah," Cale held his chin, the God of Death's offer was actually quite tempting, because he actually missed his first world.

But the risk was very high, South Korea was a small area for two people to meet.

Instead of being lazy, he will become the main character again replacing Choi Han like his life as Cale Henituse.

The God of Death saw Cale's doubts, "You will be born into a wealthy and influential family."

"Deal!"

__________

Cale Von Gregor Kim, a burgundy-haired child descended from a German-British man and a Korean-American woman.

The God of Death did not lie, he was born into a wealthy family although not exceeding the wealth of the Henituse family there, but he could do anything with his family's money without fear of running out.

For ten years he had enjoyed his very comfortable lazy life until the 'Dungeon Gate Outbreak' occurred.

The monsters attacked humans and suffered severe damage.

But this is the modern world, in less than two years, the world has adapted quickly by starting to form Hunter Guilds and Associations.

Cale was having quite a bit of fun while searching for information about 'Han Yoojin' who turned out to be the older brother of the S-class Hunter who was famous for the Black Flames of Hell. He was about to continue browsing the profile of 'Han Yoohyun' when he heard footsteps in front of his door.

His hand turned off his smartphone when someone knocked, "Come in," an old man who reminded Cale of Ron opened the door.

"Young Master," The man was wearing a formal suit that butlers usually wear, "The Master said he will have a dinner together tonight."

Cale nodded, "I will come down tonight."

"Then, I will take my leave first."

The 12-year-old teenager sighed when he saw the door closed and honestly, Cale was starting to wish the old man would bring him lemon tea.

It wasn't that he missed Ron, no.

Cale just started liking lemon tea.

Ahem.

That night, Cale came down from his room upstairs and still secretly admired the design of the stairs and the whole house.

"Father, Mother," Cale greeted as he entered the dining room.

"Cale, my son, sit here," the man said softly, his mother also smiled. But while walking he saw two other people who were not members of his family.

"Let me introduce you, he used to be Father's Teacher and his son."

"Hello Cale, you don't look like your Father - thank God. I'm Sung Jaemin, you can call me Uncle Jaemin, Cale," the man said with a bright smile that suited his young face.

"Master, you are twenty years older than me, how can you be Uncle to Cale?"

Cale had expected that, but didn't want to hear his father's argument with the new person any further and immediately enjoyed his meal, he greeted the blonde man. "Hello, nice to meet you Uncle Jaemin."

"Fufufu, so adorable, unlike his father," Jaemin said without paying attention to his father's protests, "Hyunjae, come introduce yourself."

Cale looked at the younger man, "Hello, I'm Sung Hyunjae, nice to meet you, Cale."

Cale felt his name was familiar and a very heavy bad feeling, especially when his mother screamed, startling the people there.

"Ugh, I'm sorry," Cale's mother said with a handkerchief covering her lips.

Cale's father just laughed at his mother's panicked voice, which made Cale even more suspicious, "Hahaha, are you okay honey? Forgive my wife, she really admires you, Hyunjae-ssi."

"Of course," Jaemin laughed loudly, "My son is really great, he has become the most important person in this country by becoming an S-class Hunter and the Chairman of the Seseong Guild that you sponsor."

Cale felt lightning strike his head, coughing while enjoying his food.

"Slowly dear," his mother took a clean handkerchief and covered his mouth.

"Cale seems surprised," Hyunjae smiled thinly, "It seems that the power of my uncontrolled S-class aura has disturbed children like Young Master Cale."

"Did the item you used earlier not hold back its effects?" Hyunjae's father whispered uncomfortably when he saw Cale still coughing even after drinking water.

"Sorry Dad, Mr. Gregor," Hyunjae realized his father's anxiety, as the Guild Leader he also knew the influence of the Gregor family if disturbed even though none of them were awakened.

As the world's largest sponsor and donor when in a critical condition, this family has willingly given almost half of its wealth to rebuild Korea and various other countries that were destroyed by sudden monster attacks.

With great respect, even though he was an S-class, Hyunjae was very careful to deal with this family. Hyunjae's eyes saw Cale who was trying to hide his cough so that the people in the room would not be disturbed anymore.

But the child still coughed a little, "Father, I'll take my leave first," he said while standing politely, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Cale," His father smiled seeing Cale out.

Cale really couldn't control his cough and his heartbeat, meeting one of the S-class made his body shiver as if he felt that his lazy life would be eroded little by little.

His 'UnLaziness Meter' had subsided when he entered his room, Cale finally felt calm when he leaned his body against the chair in front of his room's window, his favorite spot.

"Young Master," said the Old Man, his servant surprised him dead in the middle. Really, he didn't hear his footsteps and felt his presence at all.

Cale saw the old man who was also named Ron smiled meaningfully as he put down the familiar lemon tea.

"Here, Young Master Cale."

Oh no, Cale felt goosebumps, what is this?

"Ron?!"

The man stood up straight and smiled when he saw the Young Master still like the Puppy he knew.

"Yes Young Master, I am the Ron Hugh you know," he answered meaningfully.

The 13-year-old boy felt a familiar feeling, was it because his meeting with Sung Hyunjae made his partner from his life as Cale Henituse reincarnated like him?

But Cale didn't care, he just wanted his life as a slacker to not be disturbed. "Get out, Ron," the old man just smiled a little before leaving silently, but before he actually left, he heard his Young Master's small voice.

"Thank you, Ron," Cale said sincerely, deep down he was very happy to see Ron by his side.

The man's eyes were sparkling, as if he knew what his young master meant. "You're welcome, Young Master. I hope 'all of us' can be together again."

The door closed, Cale could only stare at the lemon tea he missed and calm his pounding heart.

__________

Cale listened to his school teacher explain the new curriculum. They added information about basic self-safety and Monsters into the students' education.

As an adult who wanted children to rise up and become hunters or be part of the hunter's life.

Well, no, Cale just took notes, this time he planned to spend his family's wealth.

The school bell rang, he walked home to the station and walked back to his house. His father had offered to provide a private driver, but Cale refused.

Cale wanted to feel like a complete schoolboy, he also wanted to stop at the park once in a while and sit on a bench enjoying the wind.

In fact, Cale didn't want his life to be restricted by the driver, he wanted to be able to freely enjoy his school time without being disturbed.

If his school friends usually went to the study room to study again or do additional activities such as practicing martial arts or learning about art, Cale already understood the basics.

Cale didn't want to spend time sweating, he thought sitting under a shady tree, leaning his shoulders comfortably.

If there wasn't a unique orange cat disturbing him, Cale might have fallen asleep soundly.

The cat meowed, rubbing its head against Cale's thigh.

"Oh, I'm sorry," said a man with short black hair. "That cat belongs to my neighbor."

Cale finally stood up while carrying the cat, the cat that reminded him of Hong and gave it to the man.

"No problem," Cale said who wanted to leave immediately but was held by the man's hand.

"You," the man said hesitantly. "What's your name, are you okay?"

"Thank you for your concern," Cale squinted unhappily, "But, I don't give names to strangers."

The man was surprised, "Oh, I'm sorry," the man seemed careful with him. Then let go of his hand. "I thought you needed help."

Cale was quite impressed with this man, willing to help a stranger. It was the opposite of him.

"Thank you," Cale was polite, "Then, I'll go first."

Cale left the park, he saw the sky was getting dark.

-Ah, Cale met that person.

-That scary old killer has his memories, is this the time when our voices will be heard by Cale again?

-Hear my voice Cale! Let's destroy this world!

Cale paused for a moment, surprised by the voice of the owner of the Ancient Power that was buzzing in his head. Oh, no way.

-It seems like Cale has heard our voices.

The voice of Super Rock convinced him to sit on the edge of the sidewalk.

-Eh? Are you okay, Cale?

-No, don't get hurt, how can we destroy if you're sick?

-Cale, you seem to have a fever, your body is hot.

Cale's hand reflexively held his forehead when he heard the voice of the Vitality of the Heart, he felt his hand was very cold plus his forehead was hot and sweaty.

His body swayed, "Hey are you okay?!"

Cale saw the man he met earlier in the park catch his limp body, shaking his body to wake him up, but Cale was so dizzy that he passed out without being able to say anything.

Han Yoojin was very nervous when he sat holding the limp and hot body of the child in his arms. This reminded him of when Yoohyun was sick but he chose to sit outside the apartment so as not to transmit his illness to Yoojin.

Yoohyun...

Yoojin shook his head to dispel his memories of Yoohyun, but he suddenly felt someone coming with a terrifying aura behind him.

An old man in a butler's uniform walked in front of him and snatched the little boy easily. Yoojin who felt that the old man was dangerous and he had just let the helpless little boy be taken by an unknown person immediately chased after the man's steps.

"Hey, where are you taking the kid?!"

The man just smiled businessly understanding Yoojin's thoughts, "I'm this kid's personal butler, my name is Ron Hugh," the man then took out a card, "This is this kid's address, if you feel anxious, come visit."

Yoojin looked at the classy business card and read it carefully, "Eh, this is it?!"

He raised his head to look at the man in front of him but there was only Yoojin on the street.

The next day Yoojin stood in the most luxurious house in Gangnam.

Actually he wanted to come as soon as possible but couldn't because Yoojin had to deliver his neighbor's lost cat and go to work part-time at a shop that night.

Nervously and with sweaty hands Yoojin boldly pressed the doorbell button, a security guard saw him and wanted to chase him away when the old man Yoojin saw earlier came in with a professional attitude.

Ron chatted a little with the security guard who immediately opened a small door next to the gate, letting Yoojin in.

"Good morning," Ron greeted politely, "Follow me."

"Ah- Yes! Thank you, uh, I mean okay!" Yoojin replied nervously seeing the size of the mansion.

The man did not respond and continued walking to the second floor, then knocked on one of the doors, "Young Master Cale."

"Come in," answered a child's voice, Ron opened the door for Yoojin who immediately saw Cale who was lying on his bed.

Yoojin walked closer, he saw clearly that this child's face was paler than yesterday but looked better with regular breathing. Was it because his skin color from birth made him look pale?

"Are you okay?" Yoojin asked to make sure the child's condition.

The child nodded slightly, "Thank you for catching me when I was swaying," the red-haired child looked at Ron who understood what his master wanted just by looking at him and immediately took out a bank check.

"Please accept it," Ron said holding Yoojin's hand firmly, "Without you, Young Master Cale could have been hurt."

"Then, please go home, I want to rest," Cale tried to smile widely, "I hope I won't be sick again when I meet you."

I hope we never meet again, Han Yoojin, my forbidden person. Cale thought as he closed his eyes, trying to go back to sleep hoping that Ron could handle the man well, so that he would not have anything left behind.

Last night, the God of Death said that he couldn't predict anything that would happen after Cale met Han Yoojin.

That damn god also said that he couldn't contact Cale through dreams anymore because he was limited by the rules of the 'system' in this world.

If the God of Death wanted to contact Cale more clearly and for longer, Cale had to be the one to resurrect. Or his connection with the God of Death would be cut off.

Therefore, with a heavy heart, the God of Death had opened a connection with the Ancient Powers in order to help speed up Cale's resurrection, but it made his body too heavy to the point of falling ill.

Cale opened his eyes again when his head was throbbing and leaned against the mattress, he couldn't sleep and finally turned his attention to the open system window.

His Status window explained many things, his title that was brought from his life, all his abilities and his class.

Cale sighed, holding his aching head. "Ron," Cale called when he felt Ron in the shadow of the dimly lit room.

Ron appeared, "Young Master."

"Did you awaken in this world?"

The man nodded.

"Is there anyone else here besides you?"

The old man just smiled widely which Cale feared but he tried to hide it, "Does Young Master want me to look for them?"

Cale was silent hearing the question, "If you find them, don't expose yourself."

Ron was surprised to hear the order.

"I don't want them to gather and make my room noisy," Cale said as he lay back down and covered his body with the blanket. "Just gather information."

Ron laughed silently when he saw his Young Master still playing hard to get and acting indifferent.

"Okay Young Master, I'll make sure to look for them quietly."

Cale just frowned hearing that from under the blanket, did that old man understand what I meant?

But Cale believed Ron was doing his job well, he just hoped that Ron wouldn't get caught in any trouble that could drag him in.

In his thoughts Cale felt comfortable and fell asleep.
