After taking pictures, I contacted (S/N). "Uhhh, there seems to be a problem." (S/N) says sheepishly, I tucked my bangs to the side and rose an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean 'There seems to be a problem'?" I asked, she sighed and gave a wary look, please don't let me think what I think it means. "There's a uhhh.... malfunction." "WHAT?! You said that there wouldn't be a problem!" "I know I know, that's what I thought, but apparently not, look, I promised you that I would get you out when something like this happened, I'll run a diagnostic scan and see what's happening, meanwhile, you don't do anything stupid, got it?" "Yeah yeah, but you do realize that something stupid will happen right?" "Yes, and I'm telling you not to do it, okay?" I gave a sigh. "Fine, just, try and get me out of here the best you can." There, in a ruin like area, stood an elder dragon, while a younger dragon kneeled down, a drill/rocket like weapon by the young dragons side, the elder one spoke. "My son, the day shall come when you take my place, and lead the armor dragon army of the drum clan, you have gained much knowledge that will serve you well." The son let out a small chuckle."But you still have much to learn." The father continued, the son looked up at his father in shock, the elder still kept going. "I am sending you away from our dragon world to the alien planet called 'Earth', where does my hope that you will continue to your path of knowledge." He finished. "As you wish,Father." His child says. "I'll become buddies with a great- no, a perfect human, who'll push me to become the most awesome dragon ever!" "You buffoon!" The father shouts in anger. "Father?.." "If you truly wish to become worthy of my crown, you had better learned to overcome your stubborn attitude!" Just then, a pillar broke cause by the heir, he then let a low laugh escape from him. "Actually, I think that's one of my best qualities" the son boasts. "Do you?" The breeze flows, and nature follows, in the distance are dragons flying about. "Just keep one important thing in mind" the father says. "The human you eventually choose buddies with should by no means, 'be flawless'." He explained to his son, he then held his shoulder. "How shall I put this?" His father inquired."It should be someone whose unconventional." He finishes, his son mutters the same word as if to memorize it."Okay father."he agrees, voice barely above a whisper.

At the roads and highways are cars, but one car specifically stood out, more so, a police car, it's sirens blaring, the car had the symbol of the Buddy Police on the front, speeding away, in the car, was someone driving while receiving a message while a map was opened in a tablet. "The fugitive fighter was last seen in the city center, suspect is currently flinging to the top of sky tower." A voice reported, the driver swipes the screen of the tablet to what seems to be the blueprint of the car, the car door slid open to reveal a young boy no older than 13, his eyes are magnificent crimson color, his hair of a blue color, the left side being more tamer than the right of his hair, he wears an orange vest with a pocket and the Buddy Police symbol, above his vest are pauldrons that rest on both shoulders, on the back of his vest is a small pocket, underneath the orange vest is a teal jumpsuit extending from his wrists to his lower knees and a black shirt, he wears orange fingerless gloves that end on a black strip that reveals his hands, and also wears elbow pads.

He prepared himself to jump out of the vehicle, he then pulled out a BuddyFight card from his chest pocket, the card revealed to be JackKnife Dragon. "Let's go to work, Jack!" The boy exclaims, a blinding light emitted from the card, it's flew out of the kids hand to reveal it's true form, a green dragon in armor emerged from the light and fire, letting out a roar, the JackKnife Dragon proceeded to fly inching closer to the vehicle. "Over here!" The bluenette shouts as he took out a case, Jack's eyes gleamed along the case that changed it's shape, a star like object then flew by the kids side. "Buddy Skill, On!" A robotic voice came out from the star case, then green disks appeared by the shoes heels side, flying out while leaving a trail of green fog, the kid leaves flying upwards to his monster, he stared at the dragons eyes as Jack let's out a huff of affirmation, they both raced in the sky to reach the top of Sky tower, on the launch pad was a guy with a robot like monster by his side, the fugitive let's out a confused 'huh?' as the young Policeman and his Buddy Monster landed, his grip on the mallet tightened. "Buddy Police barrier!" The bluenette shouts, outside of Earth's atmosphere was a satellite dish with the Buddy Police symbol on it, the satellite responds to the command and emits an orange light barrier, trapping those inside the barrier allowed to engage a fight, a lock on screen appears in front of the fugitive. "As I see, you're looking at two options." The kid states holding up two fingers. "Give yourself up or else." He stands in a position, preparing himself for what he seems to be the obvious chose the fugitive will choose. "Accept my Buddy Fight challenge."he finishes, the fugitive does not hesitate to answer. "Bring it on punk!" The fugitive places a hand on his mallet (and apparently his core deck case). "LUMINIZE!" The fugitive placed 6 cards in front of him, the kid looked at him, eyebrows furrowed. "They never come quitely, do they?" He muttered. "Fine by me. Let's get to work" He says, in a distance was a helicopter flying by. "I'm by the Sky tower and Buddy Fighter and Boy wonder Buddy cop, Tasuku Ryuenji and JackKnife Dragon prepared to take down a escape fugitive. As some of you probably know, the child prodigy, Tasuku, has never lost a Buddy Fight to a criminal Fighter, stay with us as the action unfolds." A female reporter reported to the camera, Tasuku then says. "A symbol of Dragon Army! Dragonic Force! LUMINIZE!" He luminizes 6 cards from his deck, two gauge cards appeared at the side above. "Raise the flag!" Both parties yelled. Jack lifted a flag with the Dragon world Symbol while the Fugitives buddy rises a different flag while he himself growls under his breath.

(To the Buddy Police headquarters!)

There stood 3 adults in front of a wide screen showing statistics and the fight. "Tasuku's BuddyFight with the Fugitive is moving on to the third term." A man stated. "Where are the files I asked for? Our man's running blind out there" "The Fugitives fight history is fully downloaded, sir" a woman replies/answered, she looked at the man next to her. "It should be on your screen now." She says.

(Back to Sky tower!)

"Tasuku, this is the Buddy card office, it looks like your opponent's using a defensive combo deck, which could mean trouble if you don't move fast" a man's voice spoke in my ear piece, I moved my gaze towards my opponent. "Ten-four" Tasuku replied, he then flew up to while pointing a sword/dagger towards the opponent. "Attack! JackKnife Dragon!" I commanded his buddy then dived down to attack, the Fugitive commanded his buddy to attack as well, Jack tackled the monster down, as it's falling down, Jack followed suit. "Where do you think your going?" He didn't even await a reply as he sliced the monster in half, thus making it disappeared, exploding into bits of orange while back at the top, Tasuku still mid air, his aura omitted one of authority. "Remember it well, this is the blade of justice that terminates evil." He says, he then held a card in his hand that began to glow. "Unleash!" He exclaims and impact about to happen, in a dark sky emerged a gigantic claw plunging down, huge, thick chains began to break one by one, the claw grabbed and pulled the huge handle of a blade, breaking all the chains at once, Tasuku raised the card he held that holds the gigantic,flaming blade. "Impact Card! GARGANTUA PUNISHER!" He yelled, sending the impact down to deliver the final blow, the Fugitive freezed at the sight and panicked, the battle has decided it's (obvious) winner as the opponent's core deck case broke into tiny pieces, the barrier slowly dispersed.

While walking in the mall, I couldn't help but notice a fight being broadcasted live, I took a look and realized. 'This is the first episode, what the heck..?' "Woah, look at that! That Tasuku Ryuenji's totally awesome!" I looked and saw that not only were you the only one looking at this kid like a fool, but also realized that he's Gao Mikado! "Yeah, I agree." You say walking next to him, he stared at you and you stared back.

While in a place filled with bubbles of people, he had been trying to find someone who he finds 'unconventional'

"Oh man! I wish I could draw a Buddy rare card! And become buddies with a cool monster like JackKnife Dragon!" She wished, Drum was surprised to hear something like that. "Did she say JackKnife Dragon?" He questioned to no one in particular

"That Tasuku's one cool ombre, huh?" A voice behind us both inquires, you both turned around while also replying. "Yeah...." You trailed, mentally scolding yourself for saying Gao's line. "Hey, do you think both of us can Buddy Fight like that?" Gao asked the man then placed the box he was carrying on his shoulder. "I don't see why not?" "Then I bet we could rock a Gargantua Punisher too!" I say. "You know it!" He encouraged the both of you, you gave the two males a small, invisible smile of appreciation that then drops to a semi visible frown. "Aw who am I kidding, I'd never be able to draw a Buddy rare." I said gloomily, both males looked at you. "You gotta be more positive, you think I was made manager of this place? If you want something, you gotta take it!" "Like a 100 store credit?" You three laugh at Gao's statement (more like question), you heard a boy in the background say something but you couldn't care less. "Oh yeah! I'm (Y/N) (L/N)! Nice to meet ya!" You greeted, giving Gao a hand to shake while the manager left you both. "I'm Gao Mikado! Hey, you kinda look like the m-!" The word 'Takoyaki' made me not to refuse so I agreed, both of us started running towards his house while the sun was setting, we then passed by a group of three scaring a boy around our age, he had light hair that covered on of his eyes, his eyes are a gorgeous Royal purple color while to match, he wore a purple uniform, we both stopped and looked at them. "I-I told, I don't BuddyFight..." The small boy stuttered, the leader placed a hand on the poor boys shoulder. " Then I'm gonna have to charge you for wastin' our time." He threatened the kid. "I don't think that's gonna happen." Both parties turned attention to both me and Gao.

I kinda expected this to happen, but not exactly like this. "I don't think that's gonna happen." A dude said, I turned my attention to two figures, mainly paying attention to the other one, the person was a female with (H/L) (H/C) hair with a (F/C) colored highlight, long bangs that covered her eyes, (S/T) skin that radiated in the angle the sun was setting, she wore a (F/C) oversized turtle neck, a Grey colored scarf draped over her neck to shoulders, it seems she was carrying a black bag, black shorts, black thigh highs and (F/C) knee-high boots,the girl placed a hand on her comrades chest and whispered something to him, he reluctantly agreed thus him stepping back, I was about to lose hope when the girl spoke up. "Picking on someone then threatened them, wow, never knew guys like you could be low noway." The guys who held on to my shoulder gripped harder and snarled at the girl. "Just who do you think you are?! Some kind of hero or something, scram girlie!" "Oh she's more than that, she goes by the title the Mighty Sun Fighter!" He then took the girls bag and drapes a jacket/coat on her.

(Back to Drum!+ His POV)

The guys in front of the girl, who I learned was (Y/N) started laughing, spewing insults and taunts to her, I can't help but feel angered towards him. "Well, can't say didn't warn ya girlie." The guy said. "The girl's got guts, I'll give her that."
Over there, the guys start stalking towards her like prey, one of them proceeds to punch her but she catches the fist before throwing him to the side defensively the other one also attempted to punch her but she dodges and elbows his back for him to hit the ground, both the other two and Gao stare at her in amazement, she kept on dodging one attack after the another, the guy was getting annoyed and so was I. "Stop playing around and take her out." The leader orders both his lackey's were panting while one of them retorted back to (Y/N), he attempted to tackle her but she still kept dodging. "What's she doing?! She's dodging every single attack!" I shouted in annoyance, without notice, both Gao and the light haired kid blushed at her. "Now I'm angry" the leader growled as he pulled out his phone tapping on it multiple times. "You think your so tough huh?" Both kids looked at the leader until he showed his phone to us. "50 of our crew are on their way to back me up!" He threatens, both Kiri and Gao stared at the leader and (Y/N). "Oh sick. Fighting talk, I love it! Go on ahead I love a good challenge." She says with no remorse, a mischievous grin spreads on her face. I stared at her gaping until Gao starts monologuing until I heard the words 'The Mighty Sun Fighter is here' is when I looked her, she wore the jacket he placed on her shoulders and she wore black gloves that went above her elbows. I muttered "This is gonna get ugly..." I didn't pay any attention to the others anymore, I only stared at (Y/N), my mind went blank until I toppled over myself due to Gao's ringtone, I recollected myself to see her carrying the boy over her shoulder while both her and Gao ran. "Might Sun Fighter my butt! I was expecting to see a fight!" I yelled in frustration.

Once we all are in a good enough distance, I put the boy off my shoulder. "How could I ever repay you both for saving me from those bullies?" He asks whilst staring both at me and Gao. "Don't worry about it!" I said before Gao grabbed my wrist before dashing off in a direction. "Catch ya later!" Before Kiri could even reply, he sees that both his heroes run off, it was dark when we arrived at his house, I zoned out until I heard my name be called. "(Y/N), right? It's nice to meet you, I'm Suzumi Mikado, Gao's mom." Gao's mom introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you miss." I politely greeted and bowed, she gave out a small laugh. "Would you like to eat? I'm sure my mother wouldn't mind making another serving for one." My stomach growled before I could say my answer, apparently, that was enough for her to lead me to the dining/kitchen area to where the Mikado's Grandmother made food for me, they all asked me questions regarding of today and I answered all truthfully, until Hanako, Gao's younger sister asked me. " Where do you live?" I hesitated, should I go full on truth or a half lie, I chose the latter. "Well uh.... You see I....uhh....I ran away from home.. please don't contact my family! I don't want to stay there no more! I only bring them bad things just by being their child!" Half of it was true, you were the most unfortunate child until you attempted to run away, you got caught which actually shows that they were scared that I could've been killed out there, the table was silent until Takashi cleared his throat. "We're so sorry to hear about that, actually, how about you live here?" "Wait whaaaaaaaattttt????! Are you serious mister Mikado?!" "Of course I'm serious, that bag does have your belongings, does it not?" "Well yeah but-" "Then it's decided, welcome to the Mikado residence." I was speechless, tears star pooling my eyes as Hanako was panicking until I muttered a small, but audible 'Thank you..' Grandmother Mikado showed me the spare guest room, which will be my new room, of course, both Gao and miss Mikado knew about this and were both happy to have you here. Two days later, I'm joining Gao and his two mentioned best friends (aka Kuguru and Baku) to Aibo academy, still having to remind myself to what my sister warned me.
