(d/n) : Dog's name

#Setting - You are a half-winged human, currently residing in the countryside(In the woods)

"Urgh..."

You yawned as you stretched your arms high into the air.  You had been sleeping for a while now and the sun was already up. Sunlight entered through the gaps of the curtain on your window and sounds of chirping birds filled the air.

You stood up from your bed, still half awake from your slumber. Ever since you moved into the countryside, everything seemed perfect-no ringing alarms at 7 am, no more overcrowded subways, and most importantly, no need to hide your wings.

Yes-you had wings on your body- Bird wings covered with bunches of feathers.

And why you have such a thing?-Good question.

It is your heritage that had been continuing for centuries-your father, mother, grandfather, grandmother-all of them were half-bird and half-human. Yours were inherited from your mother, whose wings were a vibrant shade of brown and yellow, decorated with black stripes across.

Because wings were proportional to the size of the body, it became harder for you to cover it up, especially in an overpopulated city where people are not used to a hybrid of both bird and humans-which was also the ultimate reason for you to move in the rather quiet rural side, inside the wooden cabin built by your grandfather many years ago.

You put on your usual (h/c) hoodie and walked downstairs. You were soon greeted by (d/n), who wagged its tail and pranced around you in joy. You chuckled and gave him a good scratch behind the ears.

"Hey, (d/n). I bet you were waiting for your meal, huh?"

(d/n) joyfully barked, as if answering, still wagging his tail.

You shuffled through the kitchen and pulled out a bag of dog food along with canned tuna and raw meat. As you mixed the content in a bowl, (d/n) patiently waited, staring at you with an eager gaze.

"Here you go, little buddy."

You soon laid out the bowl, which was soon tackled ravenously by (d/n). And as you turned back to face the kitchen, wondering what to make yourself-a sudden crash echoed somewhere beyond the surrounding forest.

You jumped and instantly looked out the window of the cabin. The crash was soon followed with another series booms and clashes that riped the quiet afternoon. (d/n) started to bark as well, his tail no longer wagging in joy, but rigid in the air.

You heard before that there were some wild animals that can lurk around, such as the Grizzly bear, or the grey wolf. But the noise you just heard was nothing like those animals.

Now the forest was quiet again, but you were still uneasy-if there was something more dangerous in the area you just settled in-maybe you should find out.

You carefully exited the front door. The sound seemed to have come from the further side of the stretching riverbank that was right in front of your cabin. But it was too far from your position to know what was going on.

'Maybe a little flight would help?'

You thought as you peered across the river.

No people?-check. No boat or houses?-check. Wind?-light enough.

You stretched your wings and soon felt rippling sense of joy as the thick layer of feather spread out from your body. You instantly flew up high into the air, high enough to see what was going on.

(d/n) barked again, but you instantly shushed him.

"Shhh-wait here, (d/n)."

You ordered, and with one swift, you started to fly toward the location. As you reached the place, you saw something that made your jaw drop.

It was not exactly a human. But it wasn't an animal either. They were robots...? All of them were even bigger than a grizzly bear. You couldn't tell, but the yellow, red, blue and green bot(which looked more like a dinosaur) seemed fighting against another one.

You drew closer, still in the air, cautiously hovering near the tallest pine tree to cover yourself from these extraterrestrial beings. Now you were able to see what was going on. They were all fighting against three robots, one of them resembling a wolf in feature, with its long tail and ears. It was too, trying to fight back as lashed out its claws toward his closing enemy. Clangs of sharp metal rang the air as the bots tackled, smashed, and beat each other.

You froze, observing the commotion with half fear, half amazement. You never heard such robots were living here, not in the countryside, and especially not on Earth.

'What the hell..?'

"Strongarm! Sideswipe! Secure the area! Grimlock, stop others from escaping!"

"ON IT!"

The yellow bot roared, as he managed to thrash out the vicious claws of his enemy. You were awfully confused as it was impossible for you to decide which side was whom.

Now you were behind them, well hidden behind another pine tree, close to the place where the yellow and the wolfish bot were grappling against each other.

"I shall rule this planet and take over, for the sake of my Decepticon brothers away from the Autobots!"

"You..will...never!

The yellow bot groaned as the weight of the opponent's servos swung hard on his weapon.

At those words, you realized what team you should cheer for. You nervously followed their moves with your eyes, heart pounding against your chest while praying for the yellow bot and his teammates to win.

Then the wolfbot smashed his tail on the yellow bot's face, sending him directly toward the edge of the river bank. You gasped as the bot struggled to gain balance and at the same time, prevent the Decepticon(or whatever they call themselves) push him to the edge.

"Huh, seems the leader of the Autobots had lost his skill."

"Scarp..!"

"Say goodbye to your fellow Autobots, Bumblebee."

As the situation became tense, you looked around the area. Then, you spotted a huge boulder that sat on top of the cliff. That ringed you the bell.

You sneakily flew up through the trees and reached the cliff where the boulder sat. After folding your wings together, you took a deep breath and pushed the boulder with surprising force towards the two bots. With a loud crunch, the enormous rock started to roll down the hill, directly heading to the wolfbot, who was evidently unaware of the situation behind his back.

You nervously followed the rock with your eyes and saw the yellow bot's eyes widen as well at the rock tumbling down toward him. And with the loud crash and a painful yell, the boulder hit the back of the evil robot, sending him flying toward the open lake.

"Argh!!!!"

"W-What?"

The yellow bot clambered up, confused. He looked around for a moment, finding the source of the sudden aid and eventually, locked eyes with yours.

You instantly froze and stared into his blue optics, realizing that you revealed yourself-yes with your wings still behind your back. His mouth opened then closed, utterly bewildered of the sudden appearance of a human-a human with giant wings.

"U-Uh-Who are you?"

"Uh..Well..not exactly human, I guess?"

You answered timidly, scratching your head awkwardly.

Bee never saw a human-a one that could fly like the birds. But before he could say another word, shouts from his fellow teammates, held him back.

"Lieutenant! We have put the Decepticons in stasis pods!"

"Yep-We've done i-Wait! What's that?"

You tried to run away, but unluckily the biggest bot, the green one caught you.

All of the bots locked eyes on you.

"Wow-I never thought a human could fly! Are they jets in Cybertron?"

"Russel and Denny didn't have any wings though. Why does she have one?"

"Cool-! Can you do a 360-degree turn in the air?"

"Uhhh Well..."

You tried to cover your wings but the overwhelming attention paralyzed you in the spot. What should you say?

'Crap...'

You thought to yourself-now you showed yourself up in front of a bunch of robots, and their questions showering down on you was starting to feel uncomfortable. It felt like you were forcibly standing on stage with eight optics staring right at you.

"Stop Sideswipe, you are making her feel uneasy."

Luckily the yellow bot stepped in, instantly shushing the teammates. The gigantic bot leaned down to match your level, hunching down his whole body toward the ground. His shadow loomed over you, making you feel like a teeny dwarf.

"Thank you. If it weren't for you, I would have lost. Do you live here?"

At his words, your tense muscles relaxed for a bit-at least this guy is a little cool about it.

"No problem. I just heard the commotion and saw that bot was trying to take over the whole planet, that's all."

"Well, I am sorry to say what you heard is right. The bot that was attacking me is called Steeljaw, and he is trying to make this planet a home for Decepticons."

Your stomach seemed to drop several inches at the word. You have just moved into the peaceful lakeside with your dog, only to find out robots are all over the area. You took a deep sigh and fluttered your wings in disgust. While you were doing so, the other bots kept on staring at your wings with interest. Feeling their gaze, you turned to face them, a bit annoyed.

"Well, can I go now?"

"Um...Before you go, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Can you sleep while flying?"

At the greenish bot's question, you couldn't help but give a little smile. These bots were different from those who looked at you like an experiment animal. Actually, the question itself wasn't that disturbing either.

"I don't know about sleeping, but I can do this though."

You said, and you instantly spread out your wings wide and with a slight jump, shot up into the air. All of the bots gasped in surprise and the greenish bot's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Wow!! So-cool!"

"Hey, hey can you do a somersault?"

You sighed as you flapped your wings in the air, wondering what to say to these curious crowd of Autobots. Well..at least they look harmless-maybe letting them know a bit wouldn't hurt...wouldn't it?
