For a while, I just laid in our berth with Megatron and Optimus both still asleep, enjoying the peacefulness and quietness of the day. However, it was short lived when we got a comm call from Ratchet and Knockout, telling us that all the Autobots were awake and wanted to see us.
Reluctantly, we all got out of bed and made our way to Med-Bay, with my mates, all the other Autobots and their charges, and some other high ranking Decepticons wanting to talk as well. Once we finally got to Med-Bay, the Autobots were going to salute, but Optimus stopped them all from doing it.
"Please, there is no need for that right now, we wish to discuss how you ended up in those stasis chambers." Optimus said all the Autobots told what they remember before being locked up. Which isn't a lot since none of them remember anything or who put them in stasis.
"So you all don't remember anything? A light, a specific symbol?" I asked and they all shook their heads and looked away.
Elita added, "Nothing, it's all blank. Like someone whipped whatever happened to us from our processors."
They all looked down, not liking that they knew nothing of who saved them and if they did anything harmful to them.
I went up to them and said, "At least we know that you are all alive and safe. That is what is most important than who or what put you into the stasis pods." They didn't respond and stayed quiet, clearly not comforted with my words.
"Look, I know you are all still confused and frustrated that you don't know who or what saved you and put you in those pods, but right now you should focus on recovering and seeing if you can remember anything from your past."
That seemed to bring their spirits up and they all nodded at me, but also looking back at their friends and comrades. I knew that some of them wished for some time with their long-lost comrades and their sparkmates.
"Well, I guess all we can do is wait and hope for some of your memories to return, but for now you are all free to do whatever you wish." I said and everyone looked at me in shock, but then in joy as all the Autobots and Decepticons ran out of Med-Bay to chat with their old friends and to rekindle.
Optimus stayed for a bit, but I went up to him and said, "You can go too, be with your sparkmate."
He was about to refuse, but I quickly added, "Don't you dare refuse brother, you better go after your sparkmate or I'll make you."
Optimus stopped and thought for a bit before nodding and walking out of Med-Bay, leaving only me, Megatron, and Starscream.
I was surprised that Starscream stayed and didn't join the Autobots like the others, but then Megatron said, "I will leave you two to talk, I have reports to do."
Megatron left, leaving both me and Starscream in the Med-Bay. He approached me and cupped my faceplate with his servos and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around him and embraced him as we stated like that for a long time. When we finally pulled away, Starscream pressed his helm to mine, closing his optics, and sighing loudly, relaxing in my touch.
"Thank you." He spoke softly and calmly as he slowly pulled away from me, looking at me with admiration.
"Why would you be thanking me? I only did what was right in the end." I said and Starscream chuckled, but quickly regained himself. He grabbed my servo and led me out of the Med-Bay and through the halls of the Nemesis to the flight deck.
When we got there, I saw both Thundercracker and Skywarp waiting for the two of us. Starscream nodded to them, and they both jumped off of the deck and started to fly, but Starscream looked back at me. By now I was confused as to why they were being so secretive, they were hiding something from me, but I had no clue what it was.
Starscream turned back to me and said, "I know you're confused, but please... trust us." I changed into my predacon form and spoke through our bond.
"What makes you think that I would doubt you now?" I asked, playing a bit and felt both Thundercracker and Skywarp cracking up through the bond and Starscream sent over joy and relief to me.
I began to run off the deck, with Starscream by my side, and we both jumped through the air, the wind whipping in our gears and the sound was banging our audio receptors.
As soon as I heard Starscream transform, I spread my wings wide, letting the wind catch me and fling me up back in the air. The feeling of being free and unchained always came over me when I flew with my mates, giving me a sense of comfort and ease over my spark. I soon heard the engines of three other jets and saw Thundercracker and Skywarp right in front of me, with Starscream right beside me.
I decided to do some dance in the air and as expected, they all replicated and followed the same dance moves they had known their entire life. I had always been fascinated by the fact that we could all do the same moves in perfect sync without any words being spoken, both through our bond and while talking. I was so lost in thought with both doing the dance and thinking that I didn't even notice that we were reaching the ground until I saw it.
I quickly opened my wings, catching the wind and transforming, landing on the desert ground softly and without disrupting any of the vegetation. When I looked around, the place we landed at had a beautiful view of the sunset, with all of its radiant colors appearing more vibrant than ever.
"Do you... remember this place?" Starscream asked and I looked at all of them, trying to think of where I have seen this place before.
While I had gotten many of my memories back, some of them were still buried and I couldn't remember them. All the bots have been helping me, but always ask if I remember something or if I don't, just so I am not confused when they explain something.
I looked back at them and smiled, saying, "How could I forget where we all became a Trine."
They all seemed relieved and came up to me, not saying anything. I was confused, but then surprised when they all embraced me, not letting go and nuzzling into me. I chuckled and hugged them as tightly as they were, not daring to let go.
"We also wanted to apologize to you." Starscream said and I pulled away from them and looked at them confused, but when I saw their faceplates, they all looked depressed and saddened.
"Apologize? What would you all be apologizing for?" I asked and none of them looked at me or answered me when I asked that question.
Eventually, Thundercracker got the courage up and whispered, "B-because we couldn't see."
I got even more confused and said, "'Couldn't, see?'" Skywarp then decided to look at me and I saw the tears going down his faceplate.
"F-for not seeing h-how much y-you were in p-pain w-ith your t-transformation." Skywarp said and I gasped, putting my servos over my mouth.
I then realized why they brought me here and why they wanted to talk to me, they all felt guilty about me not talking about my emotions. I immediately embraced Skywarp and rubbed his wings, trying to calm him down.
"Hey, shhh, it's okay, it's okay. Warp, deep breaths and calm down." I slowly said and I could hear him calming down a bit.
When I looked at both Starscream and Thundercracker, they both seemed on the verge of tears, so I pulled them close and hugged them as well. I got them all to sit down on the sandy ground, leaning against one of the stone mountains, to try and get as comfortable as possible.
Starscream was in my lap, facing me, Thundercracker was on my right side, cuddling into me, and Skywarp sat on the left, cuddling as well. I continued to rub all their wings as they continued to calm down.
After a while of silence, I said, "Listen to me, none of this is any of your fault and you shouldn't be apologizing, it is me." They all looked at me confused as I elaborated.
"I shouldn't have kept my feelings hidden from any of you, but I did, and I am sorry for not being completely honest with you all."
I then embraced them all, kissing on each of their faceplates, and saying, "I am sorry, and I promise to be more truthful with you all on how I'm feeling and if I feel off."
That seemed to bring much comfort to them all and they all hugged me while we were all looking at the sunset. Though we did not communicate very well before, in that moment we grew closer to one another and in that moment, we all felt at ease, enjoying the beautiful sunset, feeling comfort that everything would be even better than before.
