It was afternoon, Nova rubbed her eyes from her nap as she stretched her body before she hopped out of bed(cabin)  and made her way to the main room with Campy on her shoulder. As she came in sight of everyone, there seemed to be a commotion among them, though she notice Optimus wasn't there.

"Maybe Optimus believes he's a decepticon again?" Raf said nervously.

"Or he's been faking being a good guy all this time." Miko added.

"If prime has gone off the rails for any reason, we have a serious problem" fowler said.

She treaded past around everyone as she frowned slightly confused to what was going on

"This is absurd." Ratchet said not believing what he was hearing from the others right now, "a quick check for optimus's signal will reveal that he's nowhere near the location of tonight's incident." Ratchet begun to track dads current location, "in fact, he's just returning now." He confirmed.

Nova had no idea why there were saying Optimus has gone in the deep end for as she went to greet him as usual. "Nova, wait." Arcee said to me as she skimmed past her legs.

Nova shrugged hershoulders, "why? I usually greet him when he comes back, what's up with you guys?" they were all really tense but she proceeded closer as Optimus came driving in.

"wait." Arcee said as Nova put herself a bit of a distance between them.

As Optimus got closer into base he transformed, and walked his usual pace up to the group, he looked at her as she smiled at him, and then looked at the others. Nova notice the eerie silenced and the atmosphere became tense almost as if they were on their guard. She wonder why?

 "Is something wrong?" Optimus finally asked.

"We were just... wondering where you've been," Arcee answered.

"We haven't been able to reach you," Bulkhead added.

"I have been outside of communication range..." Optimus reached to his side.

Everyone, except for Nova, jumped back in alarm.

"Whoa." Arcee equipped her blaster.

"Easy." Bulkhead equipped his blaster as Bee did the same. Fowler blocked the children.

"in a subterranean energon deposit." Optimus finished as he showed them an energon shard.

Bulkhead and Arcee looked at each other, not convinced.

"Ok, What's wrong with everybody?" Nova said.

"Come on it's our guy, can't you tell?" jack then said.

  Though still aiming for a long moment, Arcee finally deactivated her weapons as the others followed. Then Arcee approached to him, "we're...sorry." she said with slight embarrassment.  

Nova and Optimus stared at them confusedly. Fowler looked up at Optimus. "Don't blame them, Prime. I was attacked earlier tonight out on the open highway by a big rig, one that bore a striking resemblance to you."

Optimus frowned down at Fowler. "That is very disturbing.. I can promise you I would never dare harm a human."

  Fowler was interrupted before he could respond. His cellphone rang. He picked it up. "Fowler... What?! That's not possible. I can tell you sure as there are 50 stars on my star spangles shorts it isn't him." He hung up and walked back over to the group. "Alden Military Base is under attack by Optimus Prime."  

Jack looks over to Fowler. "The truck?"

"The 'bot."

Minutes later

Agent Fowler was once again on the phone arguing with the general and stated that Optimus didn't attack their guys. Yet the general on the other end of the line wasn't convinced in the very slightest, and then Fowler hesitantly agreed before hanging up the phone.

"So, what's the damage?" Jack asks with his arms folded in front of his chest.

Fowler sighs deeply. "All military personnel are under strict orders to destroy any and all 'bots on sight."

Jack motioned wildly with his arms, "Are you kidding?!"

Raf looked up at Fowler in shock. "But th-they're innocent."

Miko shook her head quickly. "Optimus was framed!"

"Yeah Si..." Nova bit her lip, realizing she almost said Sire before changing it. "O-Optimus would never do such a thing."

Optimus vented softly. "Though unfortunate, the military order changes nothing. Our imposter clearly poses a grave threat to humanity."

Fowler leaned over the railing, looking up at Optimus. "A 30-foot-tall transforming imposter."

Ratchet looked up at his leader, shaking his head. "They actually did it. Those butchers managed to crack the code."

Optimus narrowed his optics as he realized who was behind the imposter. "MECH."

Ratchet turned to the rest of the team. "MECH abducted Breakdown and by all indications, deconstructed him from cranial chamber to heel strut."

Bulkhead nodded solemnly, "I was there."

Optimus looked over at them, "And we know that, more recently, they obtained Starscream's T-cog."

Arcee motioned up towards Optimus, "Which they evidently installed in a knockoff of you."

Ratchet nodded, "Which, in turn, scanned an appropriate vehicle form."

Jack sighed, "Fill the tank with energon and.."

Miko waved her arms, "And say hello to Nemesis Prime!"

"Oh goody, wake me up when this nightmare's over." Nova mumbled into her hands.

"So where do we start? Mech's base could be anywhere." Fowler said.

"Not necessarily." Optimus objected, "While Mech may have learned much of our biology..."

Ratchet finished for Optimus, "They haven't necessarily absorbed our technology."

"...they haven't necessarily absorbed our technology." Ratchet finished, typing on the keyboard. Nova walked over to Ratchet and asked, "Hey Ratchet, can you bridge me to the contruction site to where you first found me?"

He gave her a strange look, "Alright, but why?"

"There's.... something I need to do." She halfway explained.

He bridged her before explaining things further to Fowler. She sighed as she stepped through, she arrived to the construction site that was once her hideout. Nova stood where she was and stared at the sunset. She sighed in relaxation that it was the memorable moments of the day where she first found the Autobots. She has been visiting the site everyday becoz it was good place for her to have thoughts. She left the site and head to the gas station to where she met her old friend. The man who was reapairing cars, wiping the sweat on his face before standing up and drink water. 

"I see you've been working hard than ever, Raoul"

When he turned to see Nova, he was surprised to see his old friend as he walked towards her. "Hey, Nova how you've been?" He said cheerfully. He gestured Nova to sit with him as he brought out sandwich abd shared it with her. "You seem friendlier and energetic than before."Raoul said. 

"Well......"

She told the stories which she exclude the Autobots and made it up. After hearing Nova's tale, a laugh came out of Raoul. 

"Haha I can see that....I guess you are making friends already." 

"I did. When you told me to have faith in them and take some time to get to know them, at first I didn't want to open up to them but...I would never guessed they were able to break through my wall. They cared for my wellbeing and treated me as equal."

"Your friends sure are very nice. It seems you found what you were looking for, do you?"

"It's not exactly what I was looking for but I'm glad that I stumbled it."

Nova's smile faded to depression as she turned to him and said, "Raoul Listen, I'm afraid I won't be able to see you. It's complicated but you must understand."

"You got somethings to do and someplace to be, are you?"

She didn't respond which answered his questioned. "I understand It's ashame .....even though I cannot see you anymore but I was glad that I get to see you for a short time and that's good enough for me."

Raoul rummaged her hair with a playful grin, which Nova swatted his hand. He looked at the time and said, "I better get to work now, I suggest you get back safely alright."

"Yeah sure, take care of yourself."

"You too. It's nice seeing you again and Nova..."

Nova stared at him before he added, "DOn't lose faith alright. No matter what happens, no matter how far your apart. Remember the ones you cherished and keep them closed to you."

Nova smiled at his word before nodded to her. Both of them wave their goodbye as she left the gas station. She was able to say her farewell becoz even he known her for long time but she couldn't let him involve in her dangerous situation. She wants to make sure everyone she met was safe.

She was about to contact Ratchet when a familiar horn came from the other side street, "Sire?" She asked confused, "Maybe he's going out to patrol, why would he want me though?"

She walked across the street as she was about to head to him when she noticed something wasn't right. She can sense energon yet she could not feel Optimus' presence. Until, she realized it wasn't Optimus, it was his nemesis. She took a step back and quickly run to the streets while also calling for Ratchet, but there must have been a jamming signal because she couldn't get anything to go through. She quickly hopped over the fence, and several others before she made it out to the road, and the sound of a powerful engine following her. Risking a look back she saw it was Mech's Prime, and it was gaining. It was like being chased all over again just worse this time. She eventually ran out of the town and into the drainage canal and hurried for the tunnel where she knew he couldn't reach her, but he fired at it and prevented her from escaping that way,"Now Nova, is that anyway to treat an old friend?" Silas said.

Nova turned to see it was in robot mode although she was surprised that Mech was able to make a spitting image of OPtimus. She back away nervously and said, "The day were become friends is the day I die and join the Allspark."

"You've been spending too much time with the Autobots, why don't I help you with that and give you some human company." 

Nemesis reached for her and she blocked him with a shield before sending out an ultrasonic blast which cracked everything glass on him and short circuited many of the instruments.

"Been expanding your abilities I see, they will serve Mech well."

Nova ran while it was temporarily disabled, all she could think about was wishing to be invisible, "Why don't you Just leave me alone!"

  Nemesis recovered and charged her, "Never! You belong to Mech, we're the reason you are here."  

  She shot a bolt of energy at him and clambered up the side of the wall and out of the canal. She ran around many of the buildings and hid as the semi drove past. She calmed her breaths before heading to the abandoned construction site. Luckily, no one was on the street as she tried to contact Ratchet until a giant hand appeared out nowhere and grabbed her. Both her arms were trapped and she struggle to escape as she was lifted from the ground and was faced to Nemesis Prime.

"LEt me go!!" NOva said before she felt a grip tightened around her.

  "I never expect this....But with you there won't be anyone left to oppose me. Now....surrender." 

"Never....As if I ever surrender to you."  

  "Resistance is futile. You were made to follow orders....It's also your life's meaning....the reason you were born into this world."

Nova stop struggling as she glared at the Nemesis, "Shut up!! My reason for being born doesn't matter! I have my own will! Like the heck would I listen to your orders!"

  "'Will' you say. That was also created for you by Dr. Login herself. Beside How can a machine have a will? You changed based on the views of those around you. You fought against the Decepticons becoz of the motive of your fellow Autobots. And because of the submission to others you have planted deep inside your heart....You will become my weapon. That's your Fate!"

 " You're wrong! Even if it's other people's motives....I chose to follow them out of my own will!!! I don't believe in that!" Nova said determination as she tried to struggle herself free.

"Hmph you foolish machine."

"I'm not a machine!!! I'm.....NOVA LOGIN!!!!" Nova shouted before her eyes glowed with bright blue.

With that, her body shine brightly which made Nemesis released her as she was encased in a sphere of light. She could feel her clothes flip and changed into her Blue and light turquoise armor. Wings sprouted from her back and her hair changed to metallic helm in a shape of a ponytail before her battle mask covered her mouth.

Nemesis turned to see Nova in robot mode as she landed on the ground and got into her fighting position, facing her enemy. Silas was stunned by her appearance and said, "Not only you've been expanding abilities, you've been upgraded. Exquisite, Let us see how you fight in that form, shall we?"

"Yeah Lets." NOva sneered as she charged at Nemesis who just stood there as she tried to hit him but he evaded every swing. She then decided to use her blades and equipped her azusa skates as she lunged towards him. Nemesis tried to grab her, but she evaded him before skating around him before switching her skates and she jumped onto his arm then ran up it.

However, she didn't see the incoming punch until she was rolling and skidding across the floor. Nova was about to get up when Nemesis pressed his pede on her arm. She glanced up and he still had his eyes on her as if he was smirking.

"Seriously Nova, is that all you've got? What? You've gone soft since Dr. Login's death."

Nova glared at him when Silas mentioned her before grunting as she tried to act like she was getting her arm free. Silas became amused by her fruitless attempt to escape. But he soon flinched when she stabbed him in his pede which caused him to stumble backward, freeing the techno. He inspected the damage before looking back to the techno but wasn't there. He began to look around for her who was climbing one of the cranes.

"Ah, now there's the Nova I know." HE stated as he continued looking around with a little limp, but nothing that didn't hinder him.

Nova reached the top of the pillar and squatted down as she looked over the edge and saw Nemesis below her. She then inspected the distance between each structure and saw they were within range for her to jump from. Energy sparking around her hand, she glared at Nemesis and shot at him. Nemesis turned around and spotted her on top of the pillars. Expecting him to shoot back, Nova got ready to jump to another pillar but saw him running and body slamming into the pillar. She managed to get her footing the first round, but he continued and her foot soon found the edge and slipped. Fortunately, she grabbed onto the ledge last second and started to reach her other arm and pull herself back up, but he still continued to body slam the pillar and her grip soon released.

Nemesis went to grab her, until she equipped a new weapon she had never had before; a War Hammer as she hit him in mid air. Nemesis crashed into a wall just as Nova rolled and landed on the ground. Nova stared at the hammer in her hand, it had a silver handle and the hammer were neon blue as if they were glowing. She had no idea how she could able to equipped another weapon. She got into a fighting position, facing her opponent.

Nemesis got to a knee before clenching his fists and glaring. "All right then." He said before charging at her. He tried to attack Nova but she blocked it with her shield. Nova then switched her hammer to a broadsword and took a swing at Nemesis but he jumped back and swung at her, but she jumped back and shot at his sword. He swung at her which made her to flip back and switch to her hammer and knocked him back with the front side of the hammer.

Nemesis glared at her and switched to his blaster, much to her surprise. Before he fired, Nova equipped her skates and dodged a blast from his blaster. She dodged most of them but one of them hit her and crashed her into the wall. Nova grunted, clutching her right arm which gave her damaged. Luckily, the armor protects her but she could feel the pain from her body and it takes time to heal.

She looked up to see Nemesis heading her way, she knows that she can't hold him much longer and she can't let him destroyed the neighborhood as she slowly stood up and used her azusa skate to escape with her speed. Nemesis saw Nova head out of the construction site before he shifted to his vehicle mode and chased after her.

  She skated around many of the buildings and hid as the semi drove past. NOva thought tiredly, 'I've never used this new move but desperate times, calls for desperate measure.'

She calmed her breaths and began focusing on the light energy around her. Light was energy, basically anything was energy she just had to find it, so if she could isolate what it was she might be able to manipulate it also. Her senses spread out and she found the energy she was looking for, it was far more complex and everywhere as it was day time. She focused in on that then thought of bending the light around her, making it look like to the eye that she wasn't there. The semi drove past several times, stopping once and looking down the alley she hid in but then continued on. 

After several minutes she let the light continue on its natural course and she dropped to the ground, temporarily exhausted. She checked her communicator which she was relieved to see she had cell access again and quickly called Ratchet, "Ratchet...I need, a bridge." She said between pants.  

Ratchet sounded worried, "Are you alright? I'm sending a bridge."

The bridge opened up next to her and she ran, as fast as she could at the moment which was a slow trot, through it. When she reached the other side she fought to stay upright so was more than relieved when Ratchet picked her up and carried her to the medical berth, "What happened? Why are you so tired out? And why are you in your robot mode?"

  She took in a breath of air before attempting to explain, "Mech, Nemesis, blocked communications, spent the last half-hour fighting in my robot mode, then running, and using...new powers." She knew it was choppy but all she cared about at the moment was air.  

"Wait, Nemesis Prime was there!?" Ratchet half yelled.

She nodded, "More like Silas but yeah."

"So you spent the last half-hour running from his and using a new ability, Not only that you even fought him. what were you thinking?!"
