The day passed and Jack, Miko, and Rafael came to base after school. Their Autobot guardians had told them about the groundbridge explosion and the interesting new Autobot that had appeared afterward during their drive back to the base.

"So no one knows who he is? You said he's black and gold? What does he transform into? How do you know he's an Autobot? He just 'poof' appeared?!" Miko bombarded Bulkhead with questions as soon as he told her about the new 'bot.

"I'm telling you, he's an Autobot and no one knows where he came from," Bulkhead answered as many of her questions as he could remember.

"Duh, why don'tcha ask him?!?!" She said.

"Because, Miko, he's still unconscious," Bulkhead told her.

Miko sighed frustratedly.

The Autobots returned to base with their human friends and transformed after letting them out of their alts.

"Whoa!" Miko said immediately running over her to the med-bay where the new Autobot was.

Raf followed, curious himself about the Autobot. "Where do you think he came from?" Raf asked Ratchet.

Ratchet sighed. "I wish I knew..." he said.

Jack walked over and looked at the mech too.
Miko climbed up to the level above the berth so she could look down and study the new Autobot.

"Why's he look so much like Arcee? He her brother or something?" she asked loudly.

Arcee scoffed. "You think maybe I'd know if I had a brother?!" she snapped back.

"They probably have a similar alternate mode. Many Cybertronians share appearances because of this," Ratchet explained.

The day was over soon and the Autobots took their human friends home for the night. Bumblebee and Bulkhead came back to base but Arcee stayed in Jack's garage as she did frequently.

Bumblebee sped back to base and transformed once inside. Bulkhead came a few minutes later.

Ratchet was still working on the groundbridge and looked over everything that could have possibly gone wrong but still fell short of finding the cause of the explosion or the identity of the mystery Autobot that had come through.

The med-bay monitors beeped softly in the background as they recorded the steady rhythmic spark-beat of the black and gold Autobot.

Bulkhead yawned. "I'm going to go recharge now," he told Ratchet and Bumblebee.

"Okay then..." Ratchet said automatically, not really paying attention to what Bulkhead had said but more concentrating on the groundbridge.

Bumblebee buzzed in acknowledgment of Bulkhead but another beeping sounded in the background. It was the monitor by the new Autobot. It's beeping got faster and louder.

Ratchet walked over to check on it and Bumblebee followed. He buzzed a question.

"No, he's okay. Just waking up, I think..." Ratchet said checking the monitors.

The beeping evened out and slowed a little.
"Hmm, probably just a dream..." Ratchet said walking back to his computer.

Bumblebee buzzed and tapped his shoulder.

"What?" Ratchet said irritatedly.

Bumblebee pointed to the Autobot who stirred and groaned.

Ratchet walked over and looked at him. The Autobot turned his head weakly.
"W-where am I?" He asked in a quiet but steady voice.

"You're in our base. We're Autobots, like you," Ratchet told him.

He groaned softly. "What? Autobots?" He lifted his head and looked around. Bumblebee waved hi to him.

The Autobot blinked under his visor. "H-how did I get here?" He asked.

"I'm not entirely sure... I was hoping you could explain more of that matter," Ratchet said.

The Autobot sighed. "I see..." He sounded tired.

"Try and get some more rest," Ratchet told him. Bumblebee buzzed a question.
"Oh yes... could you tell me your name?" Ratchet asked the Autobot.

He nodded. "Prowl... my name is Prowl."
