I went up to my room, opened the door, plopped onto my bed, and before I knew it, I fell asleep.

(In the current chapter)

"Hey, Y/N, wake up, you don't want to be late for school, do you?"

I awoke to see both my brother and my sister on either side of my bed.

"Yeah, Y/N! You don't want to keep your friends waiting for you, don't cha?"

Before I could respond to any of these questions my brother picked me up off of my bed, threw me onto his back and then carried me out of my room.

"Hey, put me down!"

"Nah."

He stopped in front of the restroom door to open it which he struggled with me on his back. Once he got the door open he put me down in front of the mirror and then pointed to it, where I saw a very sleepy version of me.

"Freshen up, brush your teeth and hair, and so whatever else you need to do to get ready, you have ten minutes."

"Ten minutes?!"

"That's what you get for sleeping in."

I rushed to take a shower and to get ready. Once I was done getting ready I rushed down the stairs, almost falling in the process. I took toast from the toaster and without saying anything to my siblings, I rushed out of the house.

I was running to school. While I was running, I checked my watch and it read 6:50. I am supposed to be at school at 7:00, which was 10 minutes away.

Of course, he did that.

I stopped running because I am lazy as hell and running took a lot of energy out of me.

"Oh hi, Y/N."

I turned around to see who the words belonged to and it was Kuroo with Kenma shortly behind him. I suppose that they live close by because they always walk together.

"Hi Kuroo, hi Kenma"

"Hi." He said blandly.

"Do you want to walk with us Y/N?"

"Sure, why not?"

We started walking. While we were walking I noticed that Kuroo and Kenma got on either side of me and were sorta close. It was almost like they were protecting me.

It was kinda awkward because it was silent. I was the first the break the silence.

"Hey, do ya'll want to go to the ice cream shop after this? I heard that they were really good from Bestfriend/N!"

"We can't."

"Why?"

"Remember, we have that practice match against Karasuno!"

"OH YEAHH!"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just excited!"

"Why? You're not even playing?"

"I'm playing for the girl's team and my best friend is on their team!"

"Oh."

"Oh! Look at that! We're here! Now if you excuse us Kuroo and I are going to our classes!"

Before I could say anything Kenma took Kuroo by the ear and dragged him into the building.

I decided to already go to the gym and set up the net because coach already taught me how. I opened the gym doors to find that I was the only person in there.

I went to where the net was and got it out. It was much harder to do it without help, especially since I am only 5'0, but I still managed to put it up.

After I put up the net I went to the corner of the gym to sit down.

I was watching cat videos on my phone cuz, why not until I heard the gym door open and then close not long after. I got out of my seat to see who it was and it was Kenma.

He looked at me weirdly, like I was some weird alien. I waved at him to get him to stop staring at me like that because it was kinda weird and unsettling. After I waved at him he just faced the other way and started walking to the other side of the gym.

He sat in the opposite corner of me on the opposite side. I decided that I didn't want to be lonely so I got up to go sit next to him to talk to him or something because I want to get to know him better.

He didn't notice me until he had lost the round that he was on.

"Dammit, I was so close-WAHHHH-Oh, it's just you."

"Yeah, hi."

"Hi."

"Why did you ignore me whenever I said hi?"

"I just said hi to you."

"I meant before."

No answer.

"Kenma."

Still no answer.

"Kenma."

Once again, no answer.

"Okay, I will leave you alone okay? You were concentrated on your game."

I started to walk back to where all of my stuff was until Kuroo came out of nowhere.

"Wait, what is going on?"

-Kenma POV-

I didn't mean to ignore Y/N, she just looked so cute in her uniform. Wait, should I tell her that I like her?

"Kenma,"

What if she is too scared to tell me that she likes me like I am too scared to tell her that I like her?

"Kenma."

Nah, it's a good possibility that she doesn't like me.

"Okay, I will leave you alone okay? You were concentrated on your game."

She started to walk away but before I could open my mouth to tell her to stay Kuroo talked first.

"Wait, what is going on?"

"I didn't want to be lonely so I went to sit next to Kenma and I think that he's mad at me."

"Okay, how about you go and get your stuff and come back and while you do that I will talk to Kenma okay?"

"Okay."

She started to walk away and Kuroo sat down in the seat next to me. he gestured for me to come closer to him so he could whisper something in my ear. What he said just made me shocked and flustered.

"Now's your chance, don't blow it, take it."

I will try my best to stick to the times but just in case I do not, please know that it is because of family and stuff like that.
