"You ready for the big day?" Jenna asked with a smile as she folded a few towels to place in Tyler's bathroom.

Tyler grinned widely and nodded, biting his lip to contain himself from practically squealing in excitement.

"He's gonna be so excited to see you," she smiled. "How long has it been?"

"Way too long," Tyler said quietly. "It'll be eight months next Tuesday."

"Wow," Jenna said. "What're you guys gonna do?"

"Prolly like... k-kiss 'n stuff," Tyler blushed.

Jenna laughed. "Should I put a 'do not disturb' sign on the door?"

Tyler smiled shyly and shrugged.

"But really, Ty. Let me know if you guys need anything," Jenna said.

After all, she was his nurse, and it was her job to make sure he was comfortable at all times.

Tyler was in a mental hospital and had been for the last eight months, and he hadn't seen his boyfriend, Joshua, in that same amount of time.

But, tomorrow, that would all change.

Josh was coming for the first time to visit Tyler for an entire day, and Tyler couldn't be more excited.

They were two 17-year-old boys in love.

Though, Tyler had severe mental issues. He had horrible depression and sometimes saw things that weren't there. But, when he was with Josh, he was happy. He wasn't sad. He had a reason to live. But, his family said it was best he get better mentally, as did Josh. So, he was admitted to the mental hospital.

It was really, really hard for Tyler to be without Josh. He didn't smile much, he didn't talk to anyone but his nurse, anything.

It was hard for Josh to be without his boyfriend as well, having to go through school with people asking where Tyler was constantly. His anxiety was at an all-time high without his boyfriend there.

Even though Josh was often the one holding Tyler, Tyler brought Josh comfort and a feeling of safety.

But, he would be back with his boyfriend in due time.

***

It was time.

Time for Josh to go see Tyler.

"Flowers? Check," he said. "Blanket? Check. Photos? Check."

He got in his car with a wide smile, making the four-hour long trip to the hospital.

He arrived at 11:52 pm, going inside and signing in, filling out paperwork with a wide smile.

He couldn't wait to see his boyfriend.

Eventually, it was 12:00, and he knocked on the door the lady said belonged to Tyler.

Tyler furrowed his eyebrows. Who would be knocking on his door at midnight?

He opened it to find the handsomest boy in the world, holding a large bouquet of roses.

"H-hi, baby," he said softly.

"H-hi..." Tyler said, his eyes still wide in amazement.

"C-can I come in?" Josh said with a light laugh.

Tyler quickly nodded. "O-oh. Y-yeah." He stepped back and allowed his boyfriend to step into his room.

"T-these are for yo-" josh was interrupted by Tyler grabbing his face and kissing his lips deeply. He gently tossed the large bouquet onto the bed and picked Tyler up, holding him in his arms as he gently pinned him against the wall as they kissed.

They stayed in that position for about ten minutes before Josh got tired, setting tyler down and hugging him tightly. "I've missed you, baby."

"It's been hell without you, Josh," Tyler sighed, hugging his boyfriend tightly back as he buried his face in his neck.

"We've got a whole day together now," Josh said, kissing his forehead. "A whole day to kiss and snuggle and talk and do whatever we want."

"I just wish we didn't have to stay here."

"Hey, I'm gonna take you out on the most amazing date when I get to pick you up for good," Josh said. "And that is a promise."

Tyler smiled shyly and nodded, kissing Josh's nose.

The two didnt stop touching each other.

They crawled into Tyler's bed and snuggled closely, Josh setting an alarm for 8:00 so the boys wouldn't sleep their day together away.

"I love you so much, Joshie," Tyler said.

"I love you more, Tyler," Josh replied, kissing his boyfriend's head. "Goodnight, honey. Sleep well."

And so, with that, the boys fell asleep, tangled in each other's arms.

They woke up at 8:00, changing clothes and going to the cafeteria of the facility to eat breakfast.

"Who do you normally sit with?" Josh asked as he noticed he and Tyler were sitting all alone a a table.

"N-no one," Tyler said quietly, looking down at his lap.

"Baby, you have to sit by yourself? That's not good;" josh said. "If I talk to the front desk do you think they-"

Tyler quickly shook his head. "I-it's ok. I-I like to sit a-and act like I'm at school eating lunch with you. A-and I talk to you about my day and stuff."

He was already tearing up.

"Oh, Tyler..." Josh said, pulling his crying boyfriend into his arms.

The hospital made him even more emotionally fragile.

Tyler sniffled as he cried into josh's chest, Josh rubbing his back gently.

"Do you wanna maybe sit outside?" Josh asked. "get some fresh air?"

"I-I'm not allowed to go outside," Tyler said.

"Are you serious?" Josh asked.

"Y-yeah. B-but it's ok."

Josh sighed. It wasn't ok.

"Do you wanna snuggle in your room?" Josh asked.

Tyler nodded, shyly holding onto josh's finger as they walked back to his room.

His room was very plain.

A bed, a dresser, a window, a bathroom connected to it.

That was all.

"I wish we could watch a movie in bed l-like we used to," he said sadly.

But he had no TV.

He couldn't have electronics.

And josh's phone had been taken before he entered so he could visit Tyler.

"It's ok, baby. We can just... we can just... um... talk."

Tyler nodded, crawling into josh's lap.

He needed to be held.

Nobody held him anymore.

He didn't let anyone at the facility touch him.

"So," Josh said. "What do you like to do here?"

"T-think about you."

"Do you draw?"

"No. I'm not allowed to have pencils or pens in my room."

"Do you play the uke?"

"No. They took my uke the first day because you aren't allowed to have things that are loud."

"What exactly do you do every day, ty?"

"Um... I wake up, I eat breakfast alone, I go to therapy, I have lunch, have free time so I think about you and take a nap, I have therapy again, I have dinner, I go to bed."

"Do you like it here, Ty?"

Tyler just looked down at his fingers.

"Tyler... be honest with me."

"N-no. I-I just want to be with you and my family. Being all alone here without anything to do has made it worse."

"Maybe we can get you out," Josh said, hugging his boyfriend close to his chest.

"P-please."

Josh went to the front desk. Tyler could leave as soon as he wanted, but since he was still a minor, josh's signature wouldn't be enough. He'd need parental consent.

So, Josh called Tyler's parents and they talked, giving consent and allowing Josh to be the one to deliver the news.

"Ok, baby..." Josh smiled. "Looks like you're coming home with me."

"What?!" Tyler exclaimed with a wide smile, jumping up and tackling his boyfriend in a hug.

"Yep," Josh smiled.

"C-can we stay in a hotel tonight?" Tyler asked with hopeful eyes. "J-just you and me?"

How could Josh say no?

"We'll stay in the nicest hotel in all of Ohio," Josh grinned.

And that's exactly what they did.

Tyler packed his things and said goodbye to the nurses, giggling and blushing as josh picked him up bridal-style and carried him to the car.

"Joshua!" He giggled.

"What?"

"Put me down!"

"Nooooo," josh giggled. "My boyfriend doesn't deserve to have to walk."

Josh set tyler in the passenger seat, getting in the driver's seat and driving to the hotel he booked.

"Hi," he smiled at the lady at the front desk. "Reservation for Joseph-Dun."

"Ah, yes! The honeymoon suite," she grinned.

"J-Joshie, w-we aren't married..."

"I know, but... one day, Ty."

Tyler smiled shyly, holding onto josh's arm.

The boys went up to their room, and it was incredible. A king sized bed with silk sheets, a bath tub with roses, a flat screen, an amazing view of the city. Everything they could've asked for.

"So," Josh grinned. "What do you wanna do first?"

"Snuggle," Tyler said.

Josh smiled and nodded, taking Tyler's hands and leading him to the bed.

"We've never slept in a bed together," Josh smiled. "This is a big deal."

Tyler smiled shyly and nodded.

The boys were only 17, having been dating for about two years, so they weren't too experienced in much. They tried to have sex before Tyler left for the hospital but they both just ended up crying in each other's arms.

They had taken a bath together once, but it was t even for a romantic reason. Tyler had gotten sick and thrown up, and Josh had to help him bathe. Tyler was so weak from illness Josh had to sit in the tub with him to do everything for him.

It wasn't a great experience.

But, now, they were both all alone, and the bath tub was calling their names.

They stripped and stepped into the tub, Josh grinning as he saw Tyler blushing.

"You're so cute, Tyler," Josh giggled, pulling his boyfriend into his lap.

Tyler blushed and giggled shyly. "Joshieee..."

"I love you," Josh smiled. "And I've missed you so much."

"I missed you more," Tyler said, kissing at the base of josh's jaw.

"Are you trying to turn me on?" Josh chuckled. "My innocent baby... trying to turn me on?"

"N-noooo," Tyler giggled as he pulled back from sucking at his boyfriend's neck.

"Hey, I'm not saying it wasn't working," Josh laughed.

Tyler blushed deeply and giggled shyly, continuing to suck at his boyfriend's neck, only to pull back a few minutes later to just hug Josh tightly as he sat in his lap.

"Will you marry me someday?" Josh asked quietly as he gently rubbed up and down Tyler's bare back.

"Is this you proposing?" Tyler asked.

"No," Josh chuckled. "I'll propose to you with a beautiful ring, it'll be soooo romantic, and we most likely won't be naked in a bath tub."

"Yes," Tyler giggled. "I will marry you. Whenever you want."

"Well, I'd like to marry you right now, but we wanna do it in front of our friends and family, right?"

"Mhm," Tyler hummed. "And I wanna tell people you're my fiancé for at least a month or two."

Josh smiled as he pressed soft kisses to Tyler's bare shoulder, humming in agreement.

Tyler pulled back, gently holding Josh's face with his hand. "I love you."

"I love you more," Josh replied, kissing his boyfriend's lips softly.

The boys then got out of the tub and put on boxers, crawling into bed and snuggling impossibly close.

"Ty?" Josh asked softly.

"Mhm?" Tyler hummed as he continued kissing the side of josh's head and running his fingers through his hair.

"When do you wanna... y'know... have sex? Because we tried to before you left, but it didn't work. But now we're together and I'm never letting you leave e again..."

Tyler shrugged. "I don't wanna put a date on it. If its tomorrow, great. If it's ten years from now, that's fine too."

Josh nodded, hugging his boyfriend tighter.

"But..." Tyler said after a few minutes. "We are all alone tonight. A-and we won't get this opportunity very soon again."

After all, the boys were only 17. They still lived with their parents.

"We're gonna need to go get lube," Josh giggled. "I think the concession place downstairs has some."

"O-ok," Tyler giggled shyly.

Josh nodded and started to put clothes on, stopping as he saw Tyler doing the same. "You don't wanna stay here, baby?"

"I'm not letting you be the only one having to go through the embarrassment of buying lube."

Josh chuckled and brought Tyler in for a tight hug. "One of the many, many reasons I love and adore you."

And so the boys joined hands and went downstairs Tyler awkwardly standing behind Josh and holding his hand while he made the purchase.

The boys went back to their room and laid down on the bed, continuing to watch TV as they cuddled.

Everything after that came naturally.

Their kisses deepened, their clothes came off, everything fell into place.

"You're positive you want tonight to be the night?" Josh asked as he lined up with his boyfriend.

Tyler nodded. "I'm positive."

Josh nodded and carefully pushed in, kissing Tyler gently as he bottomed out. "Congrats on not being a virgin anymore."

Tyler blushed and giggled shyly. "Y-you too, Joshua."

Josh gently thrusted in and out of Tyler, figuring out different angles that made him feel better than others.

The boys' hands also found each other, and about half way through, Tyler asked Josh if he would kiss him. Josh grinned and nodded, leaning downwards and pressing a gentle kiss to his boyfriend's lips.

"I love you, Joshua," Tyler said as he pulled back.

"I love you too, Tyler," Josh replied, starting to continue his thrusting.

Tyler just hugged Josh for the rest of the time, and after a few minutes, Josh stopped thrusting and pulled out, hugging his boyfriend back.

They had been apart for almost eight months, so this was expected.

"I missed you," Tyler said for what seemed like the thousandth time.

"I missed you more, baby," Josh said, kissing his forehead.

"I'm not ever leaving you ever again."

"I'm not letting you ever leave me again," Josh said, kissing Tyler's forehead.

And Josh held that promise.

He proposed to Tyler three years later, and the boys got married at 21 and 22. The boys never went anywhere without each other, always holding hands or hugging.

They were inseparable, and they couldn't be more in love.
