Levi decides to take a walk outside while he sees you near the stables, feeding the horses.

Is she dumb? Why give them so much hay? Levi shakes his head and walks towards her.

"Oi brat!" Levi yells. You jumped as Captain's loud voice interrupted the quiet atmosphere of just you and the horses. You turn her head around swiftly to see Captain standing there with his hands behind him, crossed.

"Captain! You scared me! What are you doing here?"

"Are you dumb?" Levi retorts. You look at Levi with a perplexed look and slightly cock your head to the right in confusion to his sudden question. "What are you talking about, Captain?"

"I'm asking you, are you dumb? Why are you feeding the horses so much hay?" Levi says, slightly annoyed. You look down at the tray of hay that you were holding while feeding the horses. SHIT. The huge tray that you were carrying that was originally full of hay was half empty now. "Sorry about that," you say. As you walk back to the fence to put the tray away, you feel yourself trip on your own feet and eventually fell to the ground, landing on your butt.

Ow!

You attempt to get up, but it seemed like your butt had hit the ground pretty hard.

"Oi! Careful!" Levi screams. He leans over to pick you up by your arm and removes the few pieces of hay stuck to her jacket and pants. He looks at your forehead that was exposed from your bangs blowing in the wind. He sees the scar once again. He quickly regained focus and let you go.

"Thank you, Captain. You helped me twice already," y/n beams while looking at Levi with a smile on her face.

"Tch, watch where you're going in the future... clumsy brat," Levi says, while folding his arms.

"Yes sir!"

As Levi turns around to leave, he turns his head and says, "You next task is to clean my office after you have cleaned yourself." And with that, he leaves to go back to his office.

TIME SKIP

"I finished wiping the windows, Captain," y/n says, rinsing the towel one last time before walking towards Levi.

Levi looks up from doing his paperwork. "Is it spotless?"

"I would like to say so. Anything else I have to clean Captain?"

"No. You're free to leave."

LEVI POV*

As I reach for the cup of tea that y/n made before she came into my office, my door burst open, and I see Hange practically flying into my office.

"Oi! Don't you know how to knock?" You kicking my door is going to dirty it all over again." I say while glaring at her, slightly annoyed.

"Oi Levi, my boots aren't even dirty," she argues back. I ignore her remark.

"You need something?" I ask her.

"Oh right! I saw y/n coming out of your office when I was walking by."

"She was cleaning my office," I tell her.

"Oh?"

I sighed and explained. "I said I was keeping her under my supervision. I need to keep an eye on her because I think she has something to do with the accident or my temporary memory loss. Every time I see her, my headaches reappear."

"Really? She looks so innocent though," Hange says giving me a disapproving look. I look away from her.

"I don't know. I'll see." I look up to meet Hange's gaze again. "Find anything weird about the new brat?"

"Nope. He's just chillin with the other cadets normally. Nothing too abnormal."

I sighed as Hange turns to head out of my office. I look to the left side of my desk see a bunch of paperwork that Hange just dropped on my desk before leaving.

Fine by me since I do not need sleep anyways.

Before I start my paperwork, I reach for the cup of tea again and take my first sip, while carefully holding it by the rim. I was taken by surprise by the taste. How did she make it exactly the way I liked it? With no sugar or milk? I took another sip. I felt a smile break through my expressionless face. What was this? Why do I feel familiar with this?

I shook my head to get rid of these thoughts and look down at the cup of tea and finish the rest quickly.

Looks like she won't be that much trouble to keep around.
