I stared at myself in the mirror my hand running down my dress softly.

"Arianna!" Artemis bursts through the door her dark green dress hugging her curves. I smile at her. "Well!?" She asks antsy and I nod

"I am ready, is Dick though? I mean I know how he gets when-"

"I just talked to Wally who checked on Dick, he is more than ready" She says with a smile and I nod.

Today was the most important day of my life, my wedding day.

I was marrying the love of my life today. Artemis was my maid of honor and my brides maids are Megan, Zatanna and Barbara. Dick's best man was Wally and his groomsmen are Connor, Kaldur and Roy.

I stood silently behind the church doors, I can hear everyone talking. I hear Wally's obnoxious laugh. I look at everyone in this room, my family. I miss my family, my father who would be standing next to me right now rambling about how he was gonna hand me off.

Nerves kick in when Artemis turns to me she frowns.

"What's wrong?" She says loud enough for everyone in this room to hear. All six pairs of eyes are on me. I bite my lip and look up

"How come I can run into a battle ready to die and not be nervous, but when I am about to do something I have been waiting for, for forever I get nervous?" I ask and Artemis gives me a soft hug.

"Breath in and breath out, don't even think about it!" She says and I nod. I roll my shoulders back and out goes Zatanna and Roy, Barbra and Aqualad, then Megan and Connor, with one last smile Artemis and Wally head out. I look down at our flower girl who looked nervous as well. I didn't recognize her as she was someone Dick knew or something.

"Are you nervous?" She asks me and I nod "me too" She then walks out throwing roses along the aisle and I knew that was my cue. My breathing quickens and I can everyone collectively stand.

But then darkness surrounds me and I blink a few times until three light balls float towards me creating figures.

"Mom, Dad, Daniel?" I whisper and they all gave thoughtful,wonder filled looks. Mom and Dad looked Older, Danny was older. It's like they aged with me.

"My baby girl, I have always watched over you, we all have" Mom speaks, her voice was echoey and distant but I savor it.

"My sweet, baby blue" Dad says using his nickname for me "I wish I could hand you off but I trust him, I trust him with you"

Daniel stares at me before I spot a stray tear glide down his face.

"I love you baby sister" he speaks before the bright light intensifies and I am back in the church.

I grin from ear to ear not understanding or knowing what happened, I didn't care. I walk around the corner and everyones eyes are on me.

I looked right into those electric blue ones. Walking down the aisle one foot at a time. My heels making me slightly taller but Dick was still at least a few inches taller. I stood in front of him and stared up at him.

Me and him are the only ones in the room. As the priest went through the whole shabang I did what I had to do. Until he said those words

"Do you have vows?" My heart stopped but Dick smiles down

"Arianna Lexi Hathaway, I meet you in one of the weirdest ways possible, through out our time together whether it was on the team and going on missions or moving onto our own apartment I have always seen you the same, the small, fighting girl who never gives up never backs down, the stubborn girl whom I love with all my heart, I will always love you no matter what forever and always"

"Richard John Grayson, my favorite person and my favorite hero, through everything I have always loved the way you look at me, the way you say you love me, I have heard it before but the way you say it every time makes my heart speed up, makes my mind go all wacko and makes me wanna just die" laughs echo through the church as a tear falls down my face "you make me wanna spend every second with you and makes me want to be in your arms every day. Dick I love you forever and always!" I finish and he wipes my tear away with his thumb.

"I pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Grayson, Husband and Wife. You may kiss your bride" He says and Dick takes my face, cupping my cheeks between his hands and brings his lips onto mine.

It feels like the first time he kissed me, my stomach flips and my heart jumps into his hands. My heart didn't belong to me,my heart belongs to Richard Grayson.

Cheers erupt as we pull away and I look into my husbands eyes. He takes my hand and we turn towards the crowd. I look down the aisle and the doors open the light shines in and I walk with Dick back down the aisle as people throw flower over our heads. I smile as we near the light. This is my new beginning.
