The sun rises as I went outside the temple with Donnie. I am expected to be ready for 'departure' on 6:00 AM. (Y/N) is not yet here.

"Lord Leo!" a voice came from afar. It's Ryosuke, one of the high vassals yesterday.

"Well, Leo. You should relax for a while." Donnie said as he put my things down. Ryosuke approached me.

"My lord—"

"Uh kindly remove the 'lord'.." I said in a bashful manner.

"Okay then. Lady (Y/N) will be here in three minutes. We will just wait for the carriage then—" suddenly, a galloping like sound from a horse was heard. We saw our own eyes and everyone were surprised. It was (Y/N). She is horse-back riding instead of using a carriage.

"Milady! You do not need a carriage?" Ryosuke asked. (Y/N) shook her head. If we have no carriage, then where do I get a ride?

"Leo. Hop on!" she said.

"What?"

"I said, hop on. We have a long journey to go."

Donnie smiles as he placed my things on the horse's saddle. "Wish you luck, Leo. Have a good time with Lady (Y/N)." he said.

"You're not helping." I replied as I hopped on.

Everything is ready. (Y/N) looked at me, "Hang on, tight. HI-YA!"

The horse started to gallop with full speed. Good thing I hold on to (Y/N) immediately or else I'll fall down. The villagers full-heartedly waved us goodbye as we exited the territory of Kazenami. The temple is still visible from afar but it slowly covered by a fog when we go further.

Our journey is just quiet. No conversations, just the sound of the horse's gallop. From behind, I tried to look at the young Daimyo. She is still the (Y/N) I see everyday. The way she move today, she can't show any sign of pain from her injury.

"Leo?"

"Y-yes, (Y/N)."

"There is a nearby lake coming. We will stop by there and take a rest." she said.

Minutes passed, we had stop by to a lake. The water is blue and crystal clear. Trees were bountiful of fruits that you can choose to eat. The place we went is almost a replica of a paradise. (Y/N) picked some apples and gave me some. Just like our journey a while back, it is still quiet. I took a deep breath and I spoke.

"(Y/N)...I-uh..."

"Yes?"

"Actually, about the fire in Kyoto. I am not thinking during that time when I saved you." I started.

"For me, it is a good decision. What would happen if you didn't appear? Maybe my whole body will be a roasted beef for the Genjis." she said.

You are supposed to been burned alive... in the story.

"Yeah. You're lucky." I commented. The whole place was filled with silence again.

"(Y/N)?"

"I am listening."

"You said you must not die because you have an objective." I started a conversation again.

"I did." she replied. "My father is the previous Daimyo of the Kazenami clan. Since he doesn't have a male family member or relative and he can't trust his officials, he passed the power to his sole daughter. People think women can't rule, they can't lead a clan or a team. But I served those as a motivation to prove them wrong."

I continued to listen, "That's why I have an objective. Or lets say I want this each and every clan must have starting to this generation. I want to fulfill fairness and equality."

So that's her objective? I am kinda stunned of all what she said.

"Where no people be mistreated, where there is peace and where there will be no fear." she added.

"(Y/N)..."

"The prisoners from Genji I saved were soldiers, farmers, exiled officials. In my eyes, they are all the same and all of them deserves another chance."

We stood up and walked through the green grass. To be honest, I started to like this moment. Just (Y/N) and I. I called her an introvert, cold and stubborn before, but the (Y/N) here with me is different. Feels like I'm looking at an angel, not a yokai.

"Leo, I have a question."

I looked at her. "What are you doing in the cabin during the fire in Kyoto?"

Uh oh. Wait how can I answer her question? I don't even know how can I explain it.

"Uhm.. why ask?"

"Enough with silly questions. I'm the one who's asking." okay, the angel had turned to a yokai again.

I cleared my throat. Do I have to tell her the truth? Maybe it's okay because Donnie did not forbid me to say kind of things to them, right?

"Well... I uh... time traveled."

(Y/N) formed a confused look on her face. "Look, I am... uh... I came from the future!"

"Oh—okay? I think you're telling impossible things right now. I think you got a fever."

"No, no. I'm serious." I said.

"You came from the future? Uh...please explain more about it." (Y/N) said, trying to understand what I am saying.

"Well, my brother had invented a strange-looking machine but was ruined by a lightning. The machine had created a wormhole which it send me to your time." I explained.

"And the vassal you have named Tello, he is actually my brother and the same guy who invented that time machine." I added.

(Y/N) looked at me in surprise. "Your brother?"

I nodded my head. "No wonder why you guys were so close together. But honestly, I am half-convinced about that time traveling statement." she said.

I went back to the horse and get some stuff from my bag. I have my T-phone and my sensei's book. I returned and showed those things to her.

"Here, I will prove it to you."

(Y/N) take a look first on the T-phone. On her first impression, she thought it's a baby turtle. She examined it carefully and she pressed a button. She was amazed when my phone lit up.

"That's a smart phone, (Y/N). Using this, you can send messages instantly to someone or call a person who is far away from you. You can also take pictures for memories." I introduced the device to the Daimyo.

"Picture? You mean a painted portrait?"

"Close enough. Here. Let's take a picture." I turned on it's canera.

"But we have no painters here."

"We don't need a painter, (Y/N). All you have to do is to smile." I said.

I hold my phone up high as I am going to have a selfie with one of the greatest Daimyos of all time. "Where will I look?" she asked.

"See that small back dot here? Just look at it and smile."

She and I smiled as I press the capture button.... maybe multiple times.

"All done!"

"That's it? That's fast." she said as we looked at the photos. (Y/N) smiles as she saw them. I was also mesmerized. Not the pictures, but to her smile... her true smile... that indicates true happiness.

And she looks so beautiful when she wears that smile and I want to see that everyday.
