After the war had ended with victory, we came back to the Kazenami Temple in the morning. The people gladly welcomed their hero back as (Y/N), vassals, soldiers and me, obviously went inside of the temple.

"I never knew (Y/N) had been honored by those people." I whispered to Donnie.

"Actually, those people were prisoners from the Genji Forces that she saved. She offered them to start their new lives in her kingdom as servants and farmers. They can build their own houses in the land as long as they have the permission from the Daimyo herself." Donnie explained.

I looked at (Y/N) in awe. This proves that she is a notable leader in the tales of the Hamato clan. No wonder why Splinter loved this tale a lot.

Donnie guided me to a new room in the temple. It is the same as my room in the present.

"So Lord Leo, if you wanted something just feel free to ask or approach me. If there are orders from Lady (Y/N), I'll notify you right away." He said.

"Set aside the 'lord', Donnie!"

"Okay, okay. Have a good stay, brother. And by the way..." Donnie handed me a red book. It is the book I borrowed from Splinter. "If you wanted to know any detailed information about this era, you can check the book to find out."

"Thanks." I gave my brother a smile.

"Don't mention it." He replied as he closed the door and left.

I lay down on the futon as I continued to examine the book. I had flipped all the pages to find any. I had found out that the Genji that we fought last night were a clan of assassins and ninjas that plotted a revenge against (Y/N)'s governance. The leader is unknown, so it will be hard for them to know the identity of their real enemy.

Also, the fire on the cabin last night. Splinter had mentioned that one of (Y/N)'s men had betrayed her and caused the fire. Maybe there are big chances that man is still spying on her.

The sun sets and the moon is now visible in the night sky.

A knock was heard on the door. It is one of (Y/N)'s vassals. "Lord Leonardo, Lady (Y/N) wishes to see you in the dojo."

"Okay." I said as I got up and grab my katana and let the vassal lead me to the Daimyo's dojo. I moved away my nervousness as I enter. I saw (Y/N) there, meditating. Kinda funny because it reminded me of myself in the present.

I sat down beside her. She is in peaceful expression, eyes closed, her breathing follows a rhythm, her legs were closed. My focus went back to her facial features. I had to admit it. I indeed admire her beauty. The book of Splinter only had a portrait of her but looking at her face to face is more fascinating. But what is this? Why does my heart pounds so loudly into my chest?

"How long are you going to stare at me?" she asked. I realized that she is only playing along.

"Sorry." I apologized as I scoot away from her. "What brings me here?"

(Y/N) smiled at me. "Let us have a sparring session."

"Wait? Spar? Here? Now?"

"I know you are skilled in holding your katana. That means you are also skilled in hand-to-hand combat." she said. "But first, we must make a bet."

You mean a wager? I stood up and made something in my mind.

"If I win, you will have to let go of me and find another lord or someone will take over on my position."

(Y/N) didn't think twice, "It is fine with me."

"And if I win..."  she had paused for a minute. "I'll think about it."

I accepted her challenge as we stood up and prepare our fighting stance. I'm a ninja. I am more expert to this than a Daimyo.

"Yah!"

"Wha—"

A FIGHT SEEMS LIKE FOREVER AND TWENTY REMATCHES REQUESTED BY LEO BUT HE STILL FAILED LATER....

I found myself down on the dojo mat again. Now, this is the 21st time I lost on a spar against (Y/N). "Want another rematch, Leo?"

"Okay! I gave up." I said as I raised my arms as a sign of surrender. I can't believe I lost a battle against a lady. Good thing Raph is not here or else he'll make fun of me.

"Very well. I won this session." (Y/N) said.

So what does she want me to do? Hoping that will not be a difficukt task.

"You should probably go to sleep."

"That's it?!" I asked.

"I told you a while ago, I will think about it. Maybe tomorrow night, I will tell you." she said as I walked out of the dojo. While walking back to my room, I encountered Donnie along the hallway.

"Leo!"

"Donnie!"

"I have news for you...."
