The present time,
(Donnie's POV)

It's been a week since Leo and I went back to our original world. Our fingers became three again and we're back being turtles.

But the thing that I don't understand was Leo couldn't remember anything we had went back there. Even his own wife, he couldn't remember.

I had read some history books about (Y/N) and a lot of changes happened. Instead of she died due to the fire on September 15, 1502, it was recorded that she survived the fire but she commit suicide after she fought the Genji three months after on the very same place in Kyoto.

But some historians found (Y/N)'s letter for Leo and they concluded that she got married with the mysterious Hamato Leonardo which appears to be accurate.

I returned the book to Splinter and I said that Leo had finished the entire book. But the truth is, he doesn't know that we jumped on it and spent three months on that world.

On that day forward, I remained silent and I decided not to tell Leo about what happened.

(Leo's POV)

"Everyone! Look what I found!" Mikey called us and quicky assembled in our living room.

"I found some tickets for five people!" Mikey exclaimed.

"What does these tickets do?" I asked.

"It's a three-day trip to Japaaaaaan! This is awesome!!!" he cheered. Everyone were happy.

"What's going on in here?" Master Splinter asked as he step out from the dojo.

"Mikey just found tickets to Japan, sensei." Raph replied.

Sensei's eyes glimmered. I'm pretty sure he missed Japan so much.

"Ah I'm so happy. After fifteen years, I'll be going back there again." He said.

But one question popped on our heads: "How can we ride on a plane look like this?"

"Disguises!" Donnie suggested. I can read a "nothing-can-stop-me" written on Donnie's face. He's so determined to go to Japan.

"I'll in charge for that!" he said as he locked himself in his lab and strange sounds of machines were heard.

"Well, I think we should leave the rest to Donatello." Master Splinter commented.

Time skip: Donnie's plan did work! We made a safe trip to Japan.

I let out a wow when we went out of the airport. The scenery was so beautiful. Tokyo is way too different in New York City.

"And now, my sons. We should be responsible to our valuables. Pictures will be later. We have to ride a train to Kyoto." Splinter said.

"Why Kyoto?" Raph asked.

"Because that place is the origin of the Hamato clan. Plus, the shrine where the grave of the great (Y/N) (L/N) lies was located there."

"I see." I replied. When we hopped on to the bus, I noticed Donnie was so quiet. Japan was known for its advanced technology so it's supposedly Donnie will jump at the window and looked at the computers and machines he'll see.

"Donnie, you're okay in there?" I asked.

"Y-yes!" he replied and he put some earphones.

That's very unusual, Donnie.

When we reached Kyoto, we rented an apartment and we get rest. Its a long journey from New York to Kyoto. All of us were jet lagged and sleep is the best solution for that.

"Leo, we may be 500 years apart..."

"Who are you?"

"Love!"

SLASH!

Blood...

A beautiful young woman covered in blood.

"... I love you."

I woke up and I had the same dream again. It goes over and over again. But a few moments later, I forgot what my dream is.

Drip.

Tears? W-wait? Why am I crying? I covered my mouth trying not to wake my brothers and my father up.

I don't understand why am I crying in times like this. Little O didn't know, I cried until I fall asleep again.

The next day, my family and I decided to go to Master Splinter's favorite temple called Hidurashi Shrine (see Splinter's Book Prt. 1). They said that the great (Y/N) (L/N) lies in here.

We split up to explore the temple. I headed inside where there are beautiful paintings displayed.

"Leo! You're okay, bro?" Donnie asked.

"Uh, yeah. The paintings were beautiful." I said.

"Yeah, because..." Donnie suddenly stops as he sees the paintings.

"Leo, you haven't remember aren't you?" Donnie asked.

"Remember, what?" I asked.

"This place. Where it all begins and where it all ends." He said as he and I looked at the paintings one by one.

We had stopped on a first painting where a young woman was saved by a young man from the fire.

"It all started when the Daimyo (Y/N) met a man named Leonardo." Donnie started.

"The name of the guy is Leonardo?" I asked.

"Shh. Quiet!" my younger brother hushed.

We went to the second painting where the (Y/N) and Leonardo sitting on the side of the lake.

The third one is they got married.

The fourth was the Kazenami empire were overjoyed with their new rulers.

When we passed at the fifth painting, (Y/N) and Leonardo's marriage became invalid. And a war rises between Kazenami empire and the Genji army.

The 6th painting is where the Kazenami empire won the war but (Y/N) committed suicide right after.

And the last painting is where Leonardo returned and he carry his wife but shortly, (Y/N) died and the Leonardo guy had disappeared forever.

"Leo, my brother, I know you have a lot of questions in your head but..." Donnie took a deep breath.

"The young man on those pictures... is you."

"What?"

When Donnie said those words, flashbacks came into my mind. The paintings became flashbacks from the beginning I saved (Y/N) to the last time I held her in my arms.

The dream that I saw earlier. She was....

"The Great (Y/N) (L/N)"

"Love!"

"L-love..." I panted.

"Now, Leo. Do you remember?"

"I remember everything." I whispered, "(Y/N), she needs me."

"What should we do.... my Lord?" Donnie asked.

"We will go back there."
