"I miss you, too." I replied as (Y/N) released me. She looked at the villagers.
"I came for a visit to check on you. That typhoon surely destroyed almost half of your crops. So, my husband and I planned all of this and I'm glad to see you smile despite of what happened. For supplying the temple with your bountiful crops for us to eat, at least this is the only way I can show my gratitude for your help." (Y/N) said as she bowed down to them.
In return, the villagers thanked their daimyo. (Y/N) smiled at them, "Anyways I heard that there will be a tea shop to be open in your place."
Eh? A tea shop? What will my wife do in a tea shop?
"Yes, your highness! It will open in one minute!" a villager replied.
"I see. Tell the owner that my husband and I will be their first customers." (Y/N) replied.
The villager was filled with excitement, "Oh! I will! It will be an honour."
The villager guided us to the said tea shop and we followed him. I gave (Y/N) a puzzled look. "Why—"
"I came here for a reason. I think you have forgotten our promise." she replied. I tried to recall that promise. But then, I remembered;
>Flashback
(From Splinter's Book Prt. 1)
Leo?"
"Yes?"
"If the war ends and you would like us to spend our time together, what do you want us to do?" she asked.
Now, why is she asking this? This means that the war against the Genjis will end sooner or later? I sure hope so. My heart leaped with joy a little.
"Uhh... I dunno... Tea? Maybe? And we can walk downtown and explore Kazenami together someday, I guess?"
"Noted." I looked at her.
"I'll make sure that 'someday' will come. Who knows when this war will end? I will not let myself die in battle without doing those things with you." (Y/N) held my hand, reassuring me.
>End of Flahback
"Ah, yes. I do now." I said, "I'm glad you pull this off just for me."
"Only for you, Leo." (Y/N) replied.
"Thanks, babe."
We had arrive on the tea shop. The owner whole-heartedly welcomed us. (Y/N) and I sat down on a table and our freshly-brewed tea is being served. I'm glad (Y/N) planned this for just the two of us. It feels that we're on a date.
"Leo?" (Y/N) called my name as she put down her cup.
"Y-Yes?"
"A while ago, you called me a 'babe'. What was that? Were you insulting me?" she asked. Funny that I had reminded myself earlier that I should not use modern words in this era. On the other table were her vassals are, Donnie also heard the conversation and he's just laughing at me.
"What I mean is, babe. Those were used by couples as their nicknames in my time." I said. "There are more names used like Honey, Sweetie, Sugar, Baby and many more!"
"I see." (Y/N) replied. "Instead of calling each other 'babe', how about..."
(Y/N) stood up from her seat and kissed my cheek, "...I'll call you 'love'?"
(Y/N), seriously, we are on a tea shop. Her sudden action make me blush a bit. But 'love' sounds pretty cute to me.
"Okay, then..... love?"
"Yes, love?"
"Aren't you going back to the Kazenami Tenple after this?" I asked.
"No."
"Huh?"
"After we drink tea, we will stroll around Kazenami. Like what you have said." (Y/N) added.
"But what about—?"
"Leo, before I came here, I already announced that today is a non-working holiday." she really planned this the whole time.
"You did?"
"It's a part of a Daimyo's job, love. And if we defeat all the Genji, I'll announce a one-week non-working holiday."
Can't she just announce a one-year non-working holiday?
After having our mini tea party, (Y/N) ordered Donnie and her vassals to go back to the temple. My brother and I waved each other's goodbyes as we part.

Hand in hand, my wife and I walked through town of Kazenami. It was filled with markets and shops. When people looked at us, they stop, bow and greeted us. It is a crowded place, passers by really need to bow when they see us. I appreciate their respect tho.
"Leo, it's getting too formal here." she said as she pulled me to a clothing store. There are a lot of choices but we chose a pair of blue kimonos made of silk.
"Royal clothes? It's a no, no." (Y/N) said as we went out of the shop, wearing our new clothes and our hands still locked together.
Since (Y/N) is not wearing her clothes with the clan symbol on it, people were puzzled but they still show respect by greeting us. She doesn't looked like a daimyo anymore, she looked like a commoner.
Instead of using formal greetings, she approach the people now with Yo's or Hey's.
We tried different kinds of delicacies like takoyaki, sushi, sashimi and (Y/N)'s favorite, a bowl of Oden.
The night came and we had returned in the temple. (Y/N) and I went back to our room and take a rest after that long bond with one another.
"Phew, we're stuffed." I said as I lay down on the futon.
"Did you enjoy?" the daimyo asked.
"Of course, I did." I replied with a smile to indicate that I really enjoyed our date.
"Good."
After she said that word, silence had filled the room. Even though were married, there is still awkwardness especially in situations like this.
"Leo?" woah, she had killed the dead air.
"Yes, love?"
"I... am wondering..."
"What is it?" I asked.
"When we will do the next step?" she asked, gazing on the floor. When did that question came from?! I swallowed the lump on my throat and I placed my hand on hers.
"That depends on you, love. You can tell me." I replied. (Y/N)'s gaze got even more lower. The great (Y/N) (L/N) is embarrassed. To give her courage, I cupped her cheek to make her look at me.
"Love, please look at me. Be honest with me." I said with a gentle and calm voice.
"Leo..." she whispered.
"Yes, love?"
Her sapphire orbs glimmered, "I'm all yours."
I knew what she meant. I kissed her lips. I gently lay her down on the futon as our kiss become more passionate. We pulled away and both of us were breathless. (Y/N) closed her eyes.
"(Y/N)?"
"I love you, Leo. And I am giving you all of me, so please, promise me you'll love and cherish me forever." (Y/N) said, her eyes still closed.
"(Y/N)..." I breathed out.
